how picnic crunch came to be!

I first opened a pixel site back in June 2010. I decided to create a site because I had seen the fabulous pixels sites, such as Kawaii Fridge and Neo~Nice (closed), had created. I loved using these cute little graphics to jazz up my pages, and one day thought 'Why don't I make my own?'. So that'd exactly what I did! My graphics back then were awful, and after around only 1 month of being open, I shut down my site and revamped it into Picnic Crunch on September 27 2010! I now see my old site as being my 'practice' site. It gave me a taster of what I would need to do/be to run a successful graphics site. When the site became more noticed, as I was listed more and more, I soon was beginning to get ranked in top sites, such as Soroptimist. I was ecstatic as I honestly didn't expect to be noticed by such sites. It gave me the drive to keep this site going, unlike the old pixel site. Today, I am happily creating graphics, as I always have, in my spare time. Please note that I see running my site as a hobby, rather than a 'business opportunity'.
