Confused

Advice by Katie & Isabella

Are you confused? Do you need advice? Well then, you've come to the right place! Here at Confused, both Katie and Isabella will answer your site-related questions! Trust me, once you've been given an answer you won't be so confused! Katie and Isabella have been giving advice to people like yourself since 10/8/10, so you won't be disapointed with your answer.

Why Confused? Well, Isabella and Katie were thinking about what to call their advice site, then Isabella pointed out to herself that she was, in fact, confused. It was at that moment that Isabella contacted Katie and asked if they could call the site Confused! Isabella told her that if she was stuck in a simmilar situation that she'd need some advice, which is how they want to attract their visitors to the site! And that's how Confused was born!

Thanks to that stupid coding glitch, we've been totally set back from opening the site up and I go back to school soon (Katie's already at school again), so it may take us a while to complete the site...

We're hoping to open Confused to the public today!

Question I'm not sure whether to put Ahoy on hiatus or not. I'm planning on opening a new review site with Suhrenuh, possibly. What do you think?

Answered by Isabella

Answer Don't be afraid to put your site on a hiatus, sis! I know you because you're my sister and you have an awful lot to do, including chores in real life. Take it easy and don't stress yourself- one little hiatus won't hurt. However, I'd definately close it if you are to open another review site, because owning 2 review sites is just plain silly. Hope I helped!

Isabella's Interviews

In this section, Isabella will interview famous site owners so that you can all read their tips and get some cool facts about them! Pretty cool, huh? ;D

Rebecca @ Buttoness

Question 1 Hello nice to meet you, Rebecca! For our first question, we'd like to ask...what do you think is the greatest aspect of a site?
Answer: I think the greatest aspect of a site is the content of course! Without content, your site wouldn't even be a site, just something that looks like it's under construction.

Question 2 Yeah, I 100% agree and I'm sure a lot of people do...but do you think a layout should be treated as importantly as the content?
Answer A layout should be treated as importantly, but I saw many great sites with great content, but poor layouts.

Question 3 I see...you seem to be quite the layout maker yourself! Can you share a few tips about layout making with us? We're all eager to hear your advice ;D
Answer Okay! I used to make huge layouts, and a lot of reviewers with small computer screens always say, "Your layout scrolls on my computer, blah blah blah". My computer screen is really big. My friend, Grace, told me to make my layout's height 550px, and someone else (I forgot) told me that my layout sidescrolls because it was too wide. Her computer was about 1000px wide. So, now I make all my layouts 900x550px.

Question 4 Thanks for the advice- I think it helped some of us *points at self*! What about button making? I can't seem to get the hang of any animation except the basic "One By One" animation. I use GIMP and cannot download Photoshop. Any tips to all aspiring button makers out there?
Answer Well, I use Photoshop for the frames on animations that are complicated to do in GIMP. I want everyone to know that they need to be patient when animating, Some really nice animations have a lot of frames, but if you take your time, you'll get a really cool animation. I also animate each letter if I do my One by One animation. Doing it doesn't take long anyways.

Question 5 Thanks a lot for answering our questions- we really appreciate it! For the last question...what do you hope to see in site making/owner in the future?
Answer Well, I don't look forward to anything really, I really enjoy what I do! I just wish I had more time, and I wish that time can go by slower so I can finish things before my parents say I've been on enough. xD

Closing Note Lol! It was a pleasure to interview you, Rebecca- thanks so much for answering our questions ^-^
