So far back, the land of Neopia had not been discovered by human kind. So far, Draiks and Scorchios were considered the most dangerous creatures in the land. The vicious dragons felt no sympathy for any poor soul who happened to stray too far into their dens filled to the brim with golden trinkets.

There were renegade groups who felt they may slay the wild beasts, though magic ran thick through the land, and they could never stay dead for long. Before the lay lines were stolen away and dried up, the dragon souls tapped easier than most into these strange lines of magic. Many, many of the massive Draik skeletons on display here have died upwads of a dozen times. Why, you ask, are there still non-draconic creatures still alive today?
