Rules


Don't even look at my pets if you have any intention of trading them!

PLEASE neomail me before applying for my pets (: There is no deadline, but I choose owners when I don't get anymore applications - So PLEASE neomail me, saying you are applying! Thanks!

Your first neomail should be anything the rules ask of you (the question you have to answer, your side accounts/other accounts) and what pet you are interested in. This neomail is just telling me that you have an application coming. Also, any questions are fine to ask in that neomail or in a second one ^^ I'm not scary I promise. I just want my pets to go to a great home!

Petpages are accepted happily^^. I do accept neomail apps. Remember, with a petpage application, I can really tell that you want this pet. Petpage applications are UP TO YOU. I'm not telling you that you have to do them^^


These two are the most important rules to me. Sure, pets are just pixels. But to some people, these pets are dream pets, and if you think you can take advantage of me, you are WRONG. I've already had my fair share of liers, so I know what to look for.


When applying for my pets

1. List all side accounts that you currently have
2. If you want one of these pets on a side account, please state which one
3. Don't lie about what you'll do with my pets; I even forget to feed them for a good 2 months and eventually put them in the neolodge. Honesty is key ^^
4. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TRADE THESE PETS I don't care if they are 'just pixels' to you. Go away if you feel this way.
5. Potential roleplaying/stories for any of these pets are bonus. However, they are not required.
5.Answer this question before telling me which pet you are interested in when applying: Which pet did I first successfully adopt out? (Listed somewhere on the page)
6. NO BEGGING.
7. Do NOT neomail me saying 'I'm interested'. Those get annoying..
8. absolutely NO CHATSPEAK. Don't be annoying.
9. All neomails should go HERE on my main.
10. PLEASE call each pet by their name and use the correct gender. Nicknames are fine, as long as they are some part of the name somehow.
11. CREATIVITY. You have it in there somewhere :3



Pets who have been adopted will be listed on the "happy trails" section of this page. Neomails asking me whether pets have been adopted out or not are fine, but I will simply tell you to look at the 'happy trails'.

Improve your


Application



Some of this information can prove to be very helpful. Other information, is just me ranting xDD. But whatever, reading this information could help improve your application. Here and there, you may find some brownie points that can help improve your application.
When the pound first came out, I was OBSESSED with finding amazing pets to trade for other pets. This, of course, was something I did just because I thought it was 'fun'. I never knew how much adoption meant until I somehow stumbled upon a certain adoption board. There were many people listing out their dream pets, most that were very expensive. However, people's dream pets were small, not as expensive pets that are traded and taken for granted all the time. I had one of the pets (a poogle) that this user wanted, and this user made me want to give out pets to others because of the many great things that she had planned for this pet that people with trophy pets didn't think about. I did not give this user my poogle - she ended up finding a poogle with a good name. Now a days, I do sometimes trade pets (no matter what the above says), but I am very particular about /who/ gets my pets.
I ended up putting Vze, my beloved lupe (who use to sit on my sisters account) up for adoption. The offers I got were incredible! The person I ended up choosing plans on turning vze into a krawk, and he couldn't be happier.

What I really love seeing in most players, as I explained in the rules, is a good story or roleplay for the pet. I understand that not everyone is a great artist; because I know that I'm not xD! Everyone can write well if they put their minds to it! I'm not asking you to come up with this 100 page story for the pet (I'm not asking for a story at all). If you want to make a short story about one of the pets, it does give you a better chance of getting the pet. Roleplaying is also a huge bonus. I understand that not all pets are popular roleplaying pets, but creating personalities for pets can be very fun! I don't want these pets to just be trophy pets. They should be treated well, and a way to really show off a pet is to create a great personality for him/her. Roleplaying also improves writing skills; it has certainly helped mine develop over my numerous years on neopets ^^

I don't want to tell you exactly what to put on your application. The fun of an application is making it your own, and following guidelines will not help creativity! I am fine for applications to be posted on petpages, but it is not required (requiring it would be against the rules). Side note: petpages make it look like your application is very long and well thought out. I don't mind premades and such; I stink at HTML myself ^^;

I hope that this has given you a kind of feel to what I like in applcations and such. PLEASE make sure you follow the rules posted above. The pets are listed below. I didn't post pictures for a reason (just read). Names are ACURATE.
