i don't quite knowhow to say how i feel![]() Personality;; As is typical of a seventeen year old male, Jericho's cocky, provocative, and headstrong. Not so typical is his complete and utter inability to hit anyone, not just females. He doesn't consider it a weakness, but he just can't bring himself to hit someone. Even when they're throwing punches. It could, perhaps, just maybe, tie in with his father's own cruelty. Jericho had seen that, and he didn't like it much at all. Going hand-in-hand with that little tidbit, he is extremely protective of those close to him. Friends, lovers, and whatever family remained in contact after the falling out. Jericho is also a very passionate individual. He has a lot of love to give, even when it's thrown back in his face... Even so, Jericho finds it difficult to relay his own feelings. He's empathetic, hyper-sensitive to the feelings of those around him. With that, he doesn't like hurting people's feelings, even going out of his way to make someone smile.. History;; He was the first born out of nine.. Yeah, his parents were pretty busy people. With wailing babies, mischievous toddlers, and rebellious preteens, there wasn't much time to think about the quiet eldest child. Ah, except when the weekends rolled around and the parents wanted to escape. Jericho, sweetie, we need you to babysit. No, I don't care if you have plans; you're going to spend time with your brothers and sisters now. He supposed he got along just dandy with most of them. I love you, big brother! Though, there was the second born son, who just wanted to grow up and surpass his older brother. Mommy and Daddy, however, were mere shadows in the background. Apparently, it was not Dad's fault Mommy was so fertile. It also was not Mom's fault Daddy didn't go get fixed to begin with. No, no. It was Jericho's. It was Jericho who was to be at fault. He was the first born, after all, so he's the first one the blame falls on. So, it was him that had to sacrifice everything for his siblings. Blame went a long way. Especially, when Jericho turned sixteen and Daddy started drinking and swinging unforgiving fists. Not too long afterward, Mommy found out Daddy hadn't been faithful since little Anne had been born. You cheating ba-! You've been with her for four years?? .... Jericho, why didn't you say something? Without his knowledge, he had apparently been appointed watchdog because Mommy couldn't keep her own husband's attention anymore. Not with stretch marks, wrinkles, and an increasing amount of gray hairs. No, Daddy was lookin' to rob some cradles. Little Miss Anabelle was rocking twenty-six, a stark contrast to Dad's forty-two. She was everything Mommy wasn't: slim, fit, young, model-worthy, and kid-free. Of course, Mrs. Sharpe wasn't going to take this nonsense without retaliation. She filed for divorce and got most of the meager fortune they had saved. Along with that, they split the children. The youngest eight were divided equally. Jericho had been surprised that Dad wanted the kids, anyway.. That left them to fight over Jericho. Dad saw Jericho as a babysitter while Mom saw his ability to get a job and help with bills. So, the judge asked Jericho what he wanted. And honestly, it was the first time that he could remember being asked that question. He had turned away from both parents' expectant stares and told the judge that he wanted to be emancipated. Once that whole ordeal was over, Jericho was recommended to Northwood Academy, since they offered housing for students. And Jericho was hurting bad over rent money for a lousy apartment. And so, he packed his bags and called a cab, showing up on Northwood's front steps. i need your graceto remind me; to find my own![]()
