Headmistress
Well, it is entering into summer break for those who live in the northern hemisphere. With everyone in school and busy, not much has happened around the guild. I am now a high school graduate. I'm going through the guild and updating all of the pages that I have. Gringotts will be a new addition to the guild this month; so keep an eye open for that. Members normally become more active this part of the year and I am hoping for the guild board to be fairly active again. Lets get ready for the new term to begin. Rules

The rules are quite simple and common knowledge at Something Wicked.

1. Treat others as you like to be treated. Simple.
2. Keep it friendly here.
3. Please be aware of your literacy. We are a semi-literate guild so please don't write childish; act mature.
4. No spamming the boards. This means no more than three posts in a row.
5. Please try to have each of your posts be at least 3 words long and not shorter than that.
5. Get sorted once you join. It won't take long at all. If you don't take the quiz one week after you join, you will be placed in the house of our choosing.

-If you are to break one of these rules, there will be severe consequences. Rules are strictly to be followed in the wizarding world. They don't play games, and neither do we.

Years

First Years
Welcome! You have been recently accepted to Hogwarts! First you have to get sorted, read the rules, and tell us about yourself! How do you advance to a 2nd year? Have at least 50 posts on the boards and be a two weeks old.

Second Years
You're getting to know the campus a bit better and made friends. You can now adopt a pet from our adoption agency. How to advance to 3rd year? Have a minimum of 100 posts on the guild board and be in the guild for one month.

Third Years
You now have more privileges than you did. You can now create a club. It can be about anything you wish. How to advance to 4th year? Minimum of 200 posts and be in the guild for six weeks.

Fourth Years
You're getting kind of old. You can be chosen as a prefect in the guild. What do prefects do? They monitor the guild boards, yes, you get that power! How to advance to 5th year? Minimum of 300 posts and be in the guild for two months.

Fifth Years
Now after all these years guess what? You can teach classes, and you can also help organize events. How to advance to 6th year? You know what to do 400 posts and be in the guild for 10 weeks.

Sixth Years
You can apply to be a Head Boy or Girl. Being a Head Boy or Girl will earn you double house points . You are also eligible for being a HOH of your house, if one is needed or we change them. You're almost done! Minimum of 500 posts and in the guild for 12 weeks.

History

Something Wicked was originally created by Melody and Savannah on June 21, 2011. The guild was brand new and was doing very well along with many other Harry Potter guilds at the time. Once school started over half of the members became inactive, along with the leader of the guild, Melody.

Those who were still active tried to keep it alive and in the end, Savannah left the guild and recreated it. Members who joined her help her bring it back on December 2, 2011, which is the guild today. Karla, Kelly and Michelle, are members who have helped a lot and have been with the guild from the beginning.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean to be traditional?
Saying the guild is traditional, basically means that when you join you get sorted into a house, you can get a wand and enroll in classes and clubs and earn points for your house to compete for the house cup.

I just joined and my sorting hat answers won't send or is too long. How can I get it to you?
If this happens with your answers, you can either send it in three or four different parts or put your answers on a petpage and send the link to me.

Is the Roleplay in this guild?
Yes, we have decided to hold optional RP. There is a page that explains how it will play out, but we do not have a plot right now.

Are there any members that are in my timezone?
We have many members from across the world. We have members in Australia, India, England, Peru, and United States. There may be some others, but those are the main ones.

When do you hold 1np auctions?
We try to have auctions about once a month, but that is if we are able to buy items for them.

Will this guild ever change to private?
Some like private guilds and others do not. I don't favor them and would not to change to a private guild unless needed.
