I apologize if it is quite a bit of a read, if you have any clarifications, you are free to neomail me if your question has not already been answered in the Quick Facts section.

· Please be sure to have read and understood the Pledge of Good Ownership and include it in your application:

· You must not already have 4 pets in your account if you wish to adopt.

· Your account must be at least 4 months old. This is so you can use the Transfer option in the Neopian Pound.

· If the pet comes with a petpet, please do not remove the petpet and sell it. If you have a different petpet planned for the pet, let me know.

· If the pet is painted a very rare colour I'd appreciate if you didn't repaint the pet. If you do plan on repainting, please include it in your application as well as a reason as to why.

· Put "Happy Sock : (Pet Name)" as the subject of the Neomail.

· Include everything in the To be included section in your application.

· Please only neomail rein_ for your applications, regardless of what account the pet is on. All my side accounts have neomails blocked.

1. List all your accounts.
2. Account where you will take the pet in.
3. Give one of your pets as an example of how my foster will be treated if they go home with you.
4. Include something about yourself on Neopets.
5. Include something about your plans for the pet.
6. Anything else you add are just bonus points.
7. Creatively squeeze in dancing bananas into the application, just so I know you've read this far.

I am changing this section from an FAQ to just some quick facts about me, the application process and how new homes are chosen. You aren't required to read this part, it's just some things you should probably know to increase your chances of being chosen as a new owner.

1. I do have a real life and in turn can not always respond to questions in a timely manner. Often, I respond to neomails in batches rather than one by one unless it is absolutely urgent. I also rarely send 'you have been rejected' neomails. Check this page regularly for updates.

2. I do not read applications once I get them. They are filed and read in batches. I update this page every time I read applications. I would appreciate it if I were not flooded with "Have you read my app yet?" neomails.

3. I am not a native English speaker, but I do make it a point to use the language to the best of my ability and I hope you to do the same.

4. Petpage applications are no more special than a heartfelt neomail app!

Applications should be creative, not just nice! Petpage apps are no more impressive than a well-written neomail application, but feel free to just copy and paste your neomail app into a petpage so that you can fit more content in rather than sending 10 neomails to me containing everything you want to say.

I like to see that you are really dedicated to adopting my foster, shown by your own efforts in whatever way it is.

5. I don't like being lied to. Please don't tell me that you'll enter my foster into the BC or roleplay if you don't do it with your current pets. I won't take it against you if you don't do these things and I'd rather that you don't lie and say you do. Honesty takes higher points than empty promises.

6. Make sure your current pets are taken care of. The state of your current pets is a testament to how my foster will be treated when I send him/her home with your. If your pets don't even have a short description about them, or are unhappy, then those are points against you.

7. Please don't request to be Neofriends with me. My neomail is open for everyone so you should have no problem NMing me whether or not your are a NeoFriend. I'm not trying to be rude in rejecting your request, it's just that I'd rather just have a list of people I actually know.

8. Any neomails not following my rules will be deleted immediately, no exceptions.

9. Yes, you can ask for an extension on the deadline. I don't mind extending as long as you tell me at least a week before the deadline set.
10. If you:
· Don't follow the rules
· Don't include everything asked
· Are rude in an any way
Trust that your NeoMail will be deleted immediately.
