Trust me, I did not want to do this. But my dad's returning my laptop, which has all of my graphics stuff on it, and with out it, I can't do anything. On top of that, there have been a variety of neo and real life pressures on me. I feel really sorry guys, since Aptitude is real new, there's no premades up, and I won't be getting to those requests. I haven't left sitemaking, and I plan on opening a button site, because I have a mac that has photoshop, and I think photoshop buttons are cool :). Anyway, bye for now guys. Welcome to Aptitude, a premades site run by Melt. At Aptitude, I strive to provide the best service for my customers. We live in an era where a layout decides everything for a site, and usually most people can't code a layout, or if they try, it comes out messy. That's where I come in. Here at Aptitude, I provide petpage coding requests. I put a whole lot of effort into them, and I'm sure you'll like the final product. And, if you don't want to send in a request, you can always take a look at some of our premades!
This layout is called v1//The First Flight. This was a very optimistic start for Aptitude; it showcased what I was capable of, so my requesters would have confidence in me, when they saw I had no finished requests yet. The use of the wooden background and the transparent text blended better then I had expected it would have, and the soft textures emphasizing the draik worked out very well too. Also, in this layout, there is a significant underlying theme (take a look at the name), but I'm to leave that for you to find out ;).
Why did I choose the name Aptitude? Well, this too does have a secret underlying theme (I do that a lot). But basically, aptitude, being a noun meaning "skill", or something along that line, fit my desired theme very well. I wanted to show the world my aptitude in coding. Hence, Aptitude was chosen as the name for this site.

3 days! I haven't updated for three days! I'm so sorry guys! I've been really busy with the Holiday raffle, so Aptitude's kinda just been left at the site for that period. But the raffle ends on Christmas, so things should be rolling again then. Anyhow, break's started! I'm wicked excited, since I have 24 hours a day to myself. I'll attempt to clean off the waiting list, and /possibly/ get those premades up. Anyway, I've been featured at Reference! Thanks so much, Kayla! So, pertaining to that, I've added a Fanmail/Awards/Gifts/Achievements section to the extras. I've had a load of (well, a few) gifts and such, so I want to add them now. Check it out!

3 more days until break! I'm really excited! Also, I'd like to announce our holiday event this year: The Holiday Raffle! It's run by me and Brian at Opulence :) Basically, it's this huge raffle all around neopia, and the winner gets a full site pack from me and Brian! We finally have a sister site! Opulence is an amazing site run by the fantastic Brian! Go and check it out! Also, I'm going to be working a lot on the premades page's layout, and then maybe I'll make a premade or two. I'm kind of saving the requests for winter vacation, which starts on the 24th. I'll really draw my act together then. Also, affiliates (and recieved a button from) with Chinensis Designs!

I'll be really busy for the rest of the day today, so I probably won't be on to answer neomails and such. Also, Aptitude reached979 1000 hits today! 1000 hits in 5 days! Thanks so much, you guys!

I've decided that I'm going to focus on the premades now. That's what the main content of this site is intended to be, though past experiences with sites like this reveal that requests are marginally more popular. I need to make a layout for the premades page though, and that worries me most, because it takes time. But I'll pull through :). I've finished making the layout(mostly) of the first request, and all that's left is to code it, which hardly takes 3 days. So, that's all for now, I guess. I've requested some buttons from a couple of sites, so expect to have new buttons soon! (EDIT: 1 new button!)

CLOSED requests. I got more than I had anticipated, this being my first day. That being said, one of the requests is a non-anchored request, so that should fly by pretty quick :). I'm still going on the new site-routine chekups. Also, we had 200 hits yesterday *shot*. Also, I got a beatiful new button.

Rules for premades
These are the rules for my premades. Please follow these rules, and we'll be on good terms :).
- Do not ever remove the credit.
- You may edit my premades, but don't strip it of the image, then add your own image, and then use my coding as a 'base' to make your own premades, and then start using them as premades on your own premades site. It's happened to me before, and it is very frustrating. Click the space between 'i agree' and 'i disagree' to be taken to the petpages.
- Do not redistribute my premades as your own, as said above in longer words.
- If you find someone breaking the rules, please neomail me immediately.
