The Society, that is. We thought you demonstrated potential; but there is only so much we can do with observations - it's up to you to take the steps necessary for acceptance into The Society. But I suppose you need something more than a musty old office and my word that The Society opens doors into a World beyond your wildest neo-dreams.ʺ

Covert is an entirely unique concept, and the orginal puzzle-entry guild - what we like to call an interactive guild. We aim to combine beautiful art, CSS and innovative ideas in an entirely new way. The first ever applications for our Society were accepted on 12 FEBRUARY 2011 after the leaders prepared for over a month. The current Neopian leaders of the guild are: Bethany and Lydia.

Covert is a 16+ guild, and thus the message boards foster a mature, welcoming environment. Members from around the World (including a leader from New Zealand) ensure that there is almost always someone online to chat to - without it becoming too crowded.

The boards may be the heart of Covert, but they are certainly not all we offer. With unique challenges, team missions, and an interesting back story - there is always something to do. Our members can be as involved as they want to be - and with a member rewards system and unlockable features, it means everyone can move at their own pace. The more you get involved in, the more opportunities become available to you. There is something for everyone - whether you like activities, chatting, leadership opportunities, or just taking it slow.

What we expect from you

Activity | We want everyone to enjoy Covert at their own pace. This means that you are not required to take part in all the activities we provide (though we highly recommend you do so in order to enjoy Covert to its best potential). This does not mean that you can just have Covert looking pretty on your lookup. We want you to enjoy Covert; and that means being a part of it. Come and chat when you are online_, submit something, or take part in an event or challenge - or you risk being swept in our fortnightly member sweeps.

Literacy | Covert is a literate guild. This means that correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling are required (this means capitalization, too!). Chatspeak is a no-no, but we do understand that everyone makes typo's. Smilies are fine. To keep our boards uncluttered and attractive, please use a non-glaring font, and aim to write at least two sentences per post. This should be simple if you take the time to tell us a little about your day, or respond to everyone in one post.

Maturity | Covert's message boards are a friendly place where people can come to wind down from a hard day. We do not condone any drama or arguments on the boards - if you see someone breaking our rules, please contact the council first. Alternately, please respect the environment of our boards, and take personal disagreements to neomail.

Because of Coverts secretive nature, and Vorack's stern running of the recruitment centre, we cannot leak too much information about the inner workings of Covert, or, more importantly, why we are here. We can only hope that your interest has been piqued, and that your application passes Vorack's hawk-like eyes; as a historian, he certainly has a keen eye for such things.

Shortly, you will enter the selection room where you will select the branch of Covert you wish to apply to join. Once this selection has been made, you will be provided with an application template that you must fill out and send to Vorack in a neomail titled "APPLICATION".

WHY IS THE APPLICATION ON A PETPAGE?
At Covert, we encourage members to strive for their neo-goals, and having a profile page enables you to keep track of them n_n It also is a great way for members to get to know each other, keep track of which clubs they are a part of, as well as other Covert-related goals and information.

CAN I MAKE MY OWN LAYOUT?
Our current policy is that you utilize the current supplied template. However, you are allowed to be creative with the template base - as long as the general layout and requested information is not changed/ removed.

HOW MUCH EDITING FREE-REIGN DO I HAVE?
