Requiring and preferring applications with art/coding/etc. is now a freezable offense just like trying to sell a pet.

Making a petpage application in that situation is freezable just like trying to buy a pet.

Petpage apps are still a go as long as they are completely voluntary and not too extreme. It's making adoptions a super petpage contest with a pet as a prize that's the problem.

How Do You Adopt A High Competition Pet Without An "Extreme" Application?
I suggest what TNT suggested.
Make sure that all your CURRENT permie pets have uber petpages. Give them the attention you would have otherwise invested in the pet you are applying for.
It shows the same level of devotion (if not more) but you won't loose that work if you don't get the pet.

Then do just enough of an application to show your plans and look good without going overboard.

Remember, you can get frozen for MAKING an extreme app, even if it wasn't forced on you.

So don't do it.
