Introduction
You walk along the soft sandy shore, dancing about happily on your toes. You fall to the ground as the waves splash among the rocks at the end of the beach. You close your eyes and breathe the fresh salty air through your nostrils.
Wait. The ground vibrates a little and you can hear hoof beats approaching. Startled, you begin to get to your feet. The moment you turn around, you jump back. A beautiful mare trots 'round a few feet away from you. She stops and smiles at you.
Hello, guest." She greets. Speechless, you jump back, "How did you know my name?" You ask, looking at the design around her body, the aqua mane of hers and the blue tipped wings and sockets. She has a horn of teal to match her hooves, plus a sign of some sort at the bottom of her neck.
I know a lot of things. It would take a long time for you to listen to all the things I know. For instance, I know a lot about this place. There for, if you ever need help around here, just tell me." She gallops off towards the water, fast as the undertoes and whirlpools, and then disappears in a flash of aqua blue light.
You gasp and fall back to the sand. You calm yourself down and get up, deciding to cool off for a swim. You dive underwater. It's a magnificent blue, a very soothing colour. There are beautiful patterned fish of the ocean, swimming about the corrals that are the brilliant kind of orange and fiery red.
You look further on and spot a peophin, with wings and a horn, though no side fins. The only resemblance it has with a peophin is that it has a tail instead of two hind legs.
You swim over there only to find it's the same mare you met at the beach! She backs away; startled from the part she didn't know you were there. Then, she lets out a sigh.
Oh. It's only you." She says. You begin to lose your breath and start to swim around frantically. She sends a flash of her horn and you stop and take deep breaths. Wait. Breathing underwater?
It's a spell that will last for a little while. However I do not have the power to make you be able to breathe underwater forever and whenever you wish." She explains.
You stop nodding to that and ask, "But how did you turn into a peophin When I saw you on the beach, you were a-,"
She completes the sentence for you, ", a uni. Yes, yes. Want to find more about that? Maybe even find out more about me?" You nod your head with excitement and curiosity.
She smiles and says, "Then follow me!"

Story
Chapter One ~:l:~
Unexpected Arrivals
The shores of Mystery Island are a warm sandy welcoming to land for those coming from the waters that lead off from the beach, still within the borders of Mystery Island. Despite the fact there are borders that aren't really there, separating different places, the water still continues farther away into Maraqua. The underwater streets were busy at the border, halfway Mystery Island, halfway Maraqua.
There were houses of pearl and in one lived a young filly. A uni who could turn her two hind legs into a tail when ever wanted. She lived with her mother and father and her three sisters, Adora, Rain, and Mysti. This uni's name was Pure.
I loved to swim around, exploring different parts of as much I could. Playing tricks on the Maraquan Corner Market was fun and everyone watching seemed to get a laugh.
One day, I decided to swim up to the surface of the water again. I saw a small speck in the distance. Far off, by twenty miles atleast, there was Mystery Island. I had only been there once, yet again, when I was only a young foal.
Today, I didn't know when I was going to go back home, yet. I really liked it outside when the waters were a dark blue, lighting up a bit in the spots where the moonlight could get through that top surface splash. I loved the nights underwater. They were so relaxing. I climbed into a large clam-shaped rock and sat there.
It was getting late and the Ocean grew darker and made, the moonlight ray that was coming down on the left, stand out more. I slowly shut my eyes and went to sleep.

I had woken up. I looked around. The ocean was a dark blue again. It was early morning. As I was taking off from the rock, a small something floated down from up top. I took it. It was a small, gold coin with a small diamond on it. It was shining bright. Who would want to abandon something like this? I heard a deep base creek coming from the top of the surface. I quickly looked up. A giant shadow hovered at the surface of the water. It was an oval with a point at either end and looked like a large ship. I had seen little ones numerous of times, but, this was a large ship above me. An anchor was swung and lowered down as the ship slowly reached for a stop.
The anchor was swinging over to me and I swam as fast away from there as I could. I swam in time away from the anchors reach as it swung back and dug into the ground. A rope slipped out from the ships side into the water right in front of me. Was this my very chance to go out into the world? Before that was decided, I swam to the top. I stayed under water with only my head sticking out. I heard bits and pieces of things going on.
"…need to…Mystery Island shore…before storm hits…rapid…surface." Said those on the ship.
I gasped and quickly shut my mouth. But, I heard a set of hooves and quite kougra paws striding towards the rail of the ship. They heard me but didn't know I did it. A kougra looked over the rail, but wasn't quick enough to catch me splashing back under the water. Though, the ripples in the water remand, in a circular manner around the spot where I was. He still knew someone or something had been there.
The kougra turned around, jumped off the steps and walked back across the deck. I swam back down deeper to where the anchor was piled beneath the wet ocean sand. I looked at the rope, wondering what it was cast down for. It was probably a mistake. But, to me it wasn't. It reminded me non-stop of how I opened my mouth during all that information they were giving out in the conversation. I guess I couldn't hold it longer. Mystery Island…that's where they were going. Mystery Island was the only land that was closest from this point.
It would have to wait…
I started swimming back home, and by the time I was a bit farther away, I took a glance back. It might have been the only chance.

Where have you been!" Exactly what I would have expected my mom to say, "We've been worried sick! You could've been hurt!" I don't know what I could say to that. I just nodded my head and went to my room. I transformed my tail back into hind legs. Our house didn't have water in it. All Maraquan houses had a transparent shield that stopped the water from into flowing in. But, it was one that you could walk through. My hunger had gone. I decided to go outside. Even though I walked to the pearl-gated doors, they let me go to cool down the anger inside me. They noticed it too. As I was gone from their site, I changed my legs to a tail and swam with speed to ship I had seen earlier. The anchor was still down, the rope was still cast...this could be another very important moment with a choice that can't be changed...
Chapter two ~:2:~ An adventure begins
I tugged at the rope. The long rough thing was tied good and secure. Suddenly, the ocean sand tossed off the metal anchor and its heavy metal and chains were being brought up back to the ship. I saw another shadow from above at the rail of the ship. That same kougra was pulling the rope up. It was another deep base creek. The ship had started moving. The rope was no longer cast down. I swam after the ship, faster by the minute, because, the ship was starting to gain speed. Soon, I had caught up with it, swimming right under its shadow, sometimes a little ahead. I glided through the ocean whether it was part of Mystery Island waters, or part of Maraqua still. My legs were galloping with acceleration, my tail with control and swiftness. I kept on following that ship as a guide.

It was getting dark again underwater and on the surface, and I was getting tired. The ship slowed down, and I did the same. Then it stopped, yet another base creek sound. They lowered the anchor. Some luck at last! I didn't have to dodge it this time since it swung forward, the way I was facing. The rope hadn't cast, but I guess they stopped for the night. Since I was a little tired, I would have to get some rest, but wake up early so I could be in time for when they were setting sail again. I closed my eyes and went into a deep sleep.
Waking up, I opened my eyes to the ocean floor. I got up on my front legs and pushed myself up with my tail. I got myself used to swimming again in a couple of minutes, after a long sleep.
Hold on. Something wasn't right. I looked to my right. The anchor wasn't there. I looked up. The ship was gone! The sunlight shone through the water surface where the ship had been earlier. I looked around. This part of the ocean had nothing but specks, water and emptiness. There were no rocks, no fish, no corrals or anything in the bright blue space, nothing but the ocean floor. I was so far away from home! I tried to hear for any base creek if it was close by. No! It couldn't be! I was lost! I didn't know which way to go since I had never been to this part of the ocean before. I started getting worried and randomly started swimming in my haste to know where I was. I picked whichever way I thought was to where that ship was going. I had gone too far to turn back and head home.
I was swimming full speed, not caring about the bruises I got or the cuts I got from random things in the ocean floor whenever I swam to close to the ground. Sometimes I swam so close, that my hoof or tail tripped and I would stumble upon the ocean floor.
Though, I always got up and started again and again, until the pain of the bruises on my body began to slow me down. The cuts on my withers and tail began to bring me to a stop. Then as I squinted, everything became black and blurry. I closed my eyes. Maybe it would go away. The only thing that went away was my conciousness.
Chapter three ~:3:~ The landing on grain
It was so comfy. I'd never expected the water to be like this. So...dry? Whatever it was, I didn't bother to open my eyes yet, only left to snooze all together and get a little rest after that great adventure. Wait...adventure?
I scrambled to my front feet, slightly sinking, my hooves tossing under something. I looked down. Sand!
My jaw dropped and I remained standing staring at it like a lunatic, for reasons, I don't know why. I turned to look back at the ocean. Well, it would be a little pointless walking around, balancing on a tail, so I finally but my abilities to use. I transformed into a uni again. My true form.
I couldn't have expected myself to float all the way to Krawk Island without running into an obstacle or two. So, I asumed this was Mystery Island and I pretty much could tell by the look of it. I still kept an eye out for natives, just in case.
I started making my way into the jungle. I understood now why the natives picked such a spot of the island. It was beautiful. Tropical leaves hung out from branches that were drapped in vines. The twisting wood on the ground also had wild-pink flowers spread out upon them.
There in a green clearing, was a river. The sunlight hit through that very clearing, glistening the water. Now, where did it lead? I followed by its side untill...I was face-to-face with a party group of techo natives...

Wham! I turned around and ran! Galloping full-speed. It was no joke, the natives were fast and clever. Well, so was I. I spotted one up in the trees ready to shoot a poisoness dart at me, dodging it, I galloping in circles around diferrent trees and mini-thickets in the jungle. Some of them ran into a rather large bush of thorns and needles. After I lost half of them, I lead the rest after me into the river. Luckily, I could swim, of course, and this river was pretty deep, so the half that were chasing me ended up drowing after they fell faint to the run.
I got out of the water and shook myself all over, sending droplets of water in every direction.
Then, I made my way over, moving a bunch of leaves in the way, and then...there it was. The Mystery Island village.

Adora, my insane sister. She is the oldest of us Uni's in this family even though she is painted Baby. She is fun and playful and has a bubbly personality which leads to the fact that she loves exploring.

The evil one-ish. She's lazy but at the same time loves exploring and no, unlike Adora, does not have a Bubbly personality. She loves juice and Omelette.

Yes, Rain has a new design. Sadhana did not colour in hooves for these mini-me pictures, so for anyone planning on making art for Rain anytime, her hooves are gold.

Oh the nerve. I was in this meadow during a thunderstorm at night and I could only tell Ser's glowing eyes at first. We bumped into each other and I could hardly tell her features in the dark, so I asked who she was. Rudely, she said it was none of my business and snapped back at anything I said. I gave up and turned to walk away when she started taunting me and accused me of being afraid. Afraid? Of her? Does she really think that? I got a little snappy, then, so I said some rude things. I felt guilty myself, though. I didn't know what she'd been through that made her so bitter.
