Mystery Island. Known for many things. The Tiki-Tack shops, Geraptiku, the Tombola man, Beach Volleyball. But the best thing the island is known for, by far, are its beaches.

The warm sand, the sun, the crystal blue waves... what more could you ask for? It's no wonder why you chose to take a vacation here.

As you're lounging on a beach chair, watching the ocean, you can't help but notice a Starry Lupe splashing about in the waves. Of course, that's not unusual. There are tons of Neopets scattered across the beach, swimming, playing in the sand; but then again that wasn't the reason this particular Lupe caught your eye.

It's the collar that he's wearing, it seems unusual. It's hard to see from this far away, but there seems to be strange symbols carved into the leather collar. And they seem to be glowing... but that can't be right. Even if the sun was shining on it, they wouldn't glow so bright. It must be your imagination. Or is it?

He looks up and meets your eye contact. Darn. He saw you staring. The Lupe walks over to you.

Can I help you with something?"

Oh, uh, no, no, I don't need anything," you reply, embarrassed, "but I just couldn't help staring... The collar you're wearing, it-"

Oh." He laughs. "I get that a lot. This collar- well, it's a long story. Wouldn't want to trouble you."

You're curious now. "I've got time," you reply.

The Starry Lupe turns and brings out a small green creature resemballing a tree. "This is my petpet, Firber. I named him that because, as you can see, he's a Fir species. He's a little shy-" the petpet squeaks and runs back behind Pup, "but once he gets to know you, he should be a bit more friendly. I found him in the forest here, and I took him home to live with me in my Neohome. My brother and sisters all have petpets as well, so he lives happily with them there."
