Wingoball is a semi-addicting (for me) game. The objective is to make the wingoball go past the green line on the other right side of the game. If you hit a plant, fountain, etc. or a green-hatted gnome, your wingoball will bounce off. If you hit a red-hatted gnome, you will need to start the level again with another wingoball.
Always try to finish a level using your 1st wingoball. You get 25 points as a bonus if you do, and it can really add up! If you already start your aim before the level starts (in that page where it has "click anywhere to continue"), you can get yourself some more points. Also, it seems like IE is better for this game, as there is some lag when you start if using Firefox (thanks to karlsomewhat14 for the tip!).
The orange lines are guide lines to help you with your aims. Please note that the lines are approximate. Good luck! Remember that the more your practice, the better you get. I used to have a hard time with getting past Level 2, lol.
Here's a link to the game (it opens up in a new window).
Thanks to flamex50210 for the wonderful layout! o:
This level is simple, just avoid the objects and go. (:
This is also a pretty easy level. Aim for the 2nd pot (or whatever may be in place of that for your game) and the wingoball will bounce off the other objects to the end.
Shoot your wingoball when the green gnomes aren't close to the passage. I just shoot when the gnomes are in that position.
Easy level, just shoot when the gnomes are out of the way.
Aim away from the objects.
Shoot in a straight line when the gnomes aren't in the way.
I try to watch for details like the tip of a gnome's shoe that could block the wingoball. This level gets a lot easier the more you practice. ;)
While the first 2 moving gnomes go down, watch for the tip of their hat. When just the tip is in the way of your aim, shoot the wingoball.
When the green gnomes are moving down, and are out of your way, shoot your wingoball.
I shoot when the gnomes are moving up, similar to this shot.
Like Level 7, watch for the tiny details on the gnomes. (this is from our perspective) Even the tiniest details from the bottom left and the bottom right gnomes can mess you up. It's sort of hard to explain this level, so just try to follow the screenshot. ;)
While the red gnomes are going down, shoot your wingoball right as they flip and go up. This can be a bit random, but I try to stick with this method.
For me, I shoot when the red gnomes are facing each other, right about to flip directions, and the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd green gnomes are around that point where they flip (also I mean the whole gnome, not just part of it. This is a bit hard to explain ^^").
Shoot when the gnomes are on the bottom, right as they flip directions to go up.
This level can be very annoying. :P At times, I can complete the level using my 1st wingoball, and sometimes can take multiple wingoballs for me to finish it. If you place your cursor at where the dot is, you should be okay. (: Thanks mysticalfaerie8 for suggesting that tip!
Erm.. just follow the screenshot. xD
While the 1st row of gnomes are going down, I watch until I think there is space for the wingoball to just barely fit in, and shoot. In case this hasn't happened to you yet, sometimes the wingoball can literally bounce off the screen...
I added letters for easier explanation. (: When there is just a little space under Gnome A for the wingoball to go through (and a lot of space above Gnome B) shoot your wingoball. When it goes through Gnomes C & D, it will pass through around the middle, or a bit closer to Gnome D.
Simple level, follow along the screenshot. (: Aim for (in our point of view) very top right of the plant the line is connected to.
Aim for the very top left (in our point of view) of the plant the line is connected to.
The direction that the wingoball will bounce to is a bit random, but I try to shoot when the 1st and 3rd row of gnomes are around the middle of the screen, facing downwards.
I mainly put my attention on just the green gnomes. When they are positions similar to this, shoot. Try to shoot when the bottom half of the screen is free from green gnomes, for the most part.
Pay attention when you shoot your wingoball. Watch for what position the 1st or 2nd column (depending on which column caught the wingoball) of gnomes were in when you shot your wingoball, so that you know where you went wrong. Details can really help out. ;)
This level is actually pretty easy once you get used to it. Try to aim when the gnomes are away from the top part (and not going up there either, lol).
I use trial and error with Level 25. I know most, if not all, of the times I have finished this level that the wingoball bounced off of the pot on the very bottom (from our point of view). I then try shooting it when the gnome is in a position like the above, or maybe right in between those 2 red gnomes. If it doesn't work, I move my aim just a tiny bit, and wait until the gnome is in that position again.
Please
neomail me your comments, suggestions, any corrections needed, questions, etc. I'll be glad to help you with specific levels, if you need more help. Your opinion really counts! (:

Thank you for viewing my Wingoball Guide! I hope it has helped you become a better Wingoball player. Remember, the more you practice, the better you get. ;)

I'm horrid at graphics, so thanks to flamex50210 for the button! ^^
