An interview with Tyrannian Elders
Now, with Tyrannian Victory Day here at last, I thought it would be nice for you to hear a little from some of the important people from that war! I have gone and interviewed six of them, asking various questions. Here is everything they said!
First I went over to Grand Elder Kyruggi.
Me: Hi there, Grand Elder Kyruggi! I'm part of a news team, and I'd like to know if I could have a quick interview with you?
Grand Elder Kyruggi: I don't really have the time, but as long as it's quick I guess I can.
Great! Now, what was your least favourite part of the war, other than when you were first attacked?
Well, I'd have to say it was when the monsters had caught us with nearly no supplies. Of course, it was all of you Neopians that helped us out, and I'm grateful for that.
Touching. If you don't mind me asking, were they ever any big mistakes made by you or any of the other elders?
Not that I can think of.... oh, yes! Once Sabre-X had slept for far too long.... and when he woke up, the omelette was gone! During that time it was hard to find eggs large enough to be an omelette, so we starved for days before we found another! Of course, I'm never going to let him forget that.
Oh, and I doubt he likes that... Anyway, what happened after the battle was finished?
Well, first we gave one million neopoints, a grand medal and one of that dreadful beast's claws to the one who defeated him and won the war for us... and then, to the rest, we gave ten thousand neopoints and a medal. After that we had a great party and.... well, that was it.
Hmm, well, I thank you for your time and I best get going now. Good bye!
After that, I decided to go see how Plesio was doing.
Hi Plesio! Could I interview you?
...As long as it isn't boring.
I'll take that as a yes! So, first question: How would a Sea Division be useful in Tyrannia?
....I dunno. Go ask someone else that.
Umm.... how do you like your job at the Wheel?
I think you should know the answer to that. I don't really see how this has anything to do with Tyrannian Victory Day, so I guess this interview is over.
Unsatisfied with that interview, nonetheless I went over to the Master of Spells and Potions, Tekel.
So sorry to interrupt, but could I have you for an interview? It won't take long, I assure you.
Sure, sure. I was just working on a new potion!
Thank you. At least you're a lot more co-operative than Plesio...
Oh, don't worry about him. He has his moments. So, what were your questions?
Oh, so were you working with Kauvara during the war?
Why yes, indeed I was! She helped me quite a bit with my training, and we had teamed together for maximum efficiency. In fact, I was the one who suggested doing something to help Neopians with their potions!
How nice you are! So, next. Just as an odd question, how much demand was there for potions?
Oh, quite a bit indeed. We needed to work double-time just to get enough for everyone!
How powerful are your spells, if I may ask?
...I bet my fireball could burn through that stone.
Good enough for me! Now, I think that's all the questions I have for you today, unfortunately. Good day to you!
The same to you.
I then lounged around the Omelette, hoping to spot Saber-X. Eventually, I did.
Saber-X! Could I distract you for a minute to interview you?
Ugh... only for a minute! One of those pesky pets who thinks they're smarter than me will surely try to get a second helping....
I'll try to be quick. So, strategy?
Yes. It requires strategy to do almost anything, and especially to man these omelettes. You have to have an eye everywhere!
Sounds challenging. Oh, about the omelettes. I received an....anonymous tip that once you slept in and the omelette was all eaten up?
That silly Kyruggi! If she thinks she can get away with this.... anyway, yes, that's true. Of course, we had some stocked up, but it's not like I told the Elders this.
I think I should go now. Oh! Didn't that Aisha already have some omelette?
Which Aish- OH! YOU!
That sure sent him running.... I noticed Battle Master Grarrg sitting in a peaceful corner, chuckling at Sabre-X.
Battle Master Grarrg, could you be so kind as to let me interview you?
....I guess. You better go fetch me another omelette slice after it, though.
Sure, sure. Seeing as you're the Battle Master, how skilled are you with weapons and have you ever fought in any other wars?
Oh, ask me about weapons, eh? If I had a short sword, I bet I could get it lodged in that little crack in that wall over there. But to answer your other question, no. I was quite inventive as a child, though, and therefore I had plenty of spare time to practice with. I was top of my class in all training, and therefore it was only logical that they picked me.
Ah! So, the Battledome had been quite new at the time?
Yes, indeed. It was put to heavy use, though. Of course, there hasn't been a big battle in ages....
That must be quite disappointing!
It is. Now, I think it's time for you to get me that omelette.
Oh, yes. I'll be right back.
After getting him that slice, I wandered around for a while before giving up on finding Myncha.
Suddenly, he swings down right in front of me, making me scream.
Goodness! I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you like that. I heard you were interviewing?
Oh... yes, I was! You don't mind if I ask you a couple questions?
No, not at all!
Awesome. So, how much spy-work did you do?
Quite a bit. I can't tell you for who or from who, though, sorry. That is private.
I understand. Did anything else interesting happen to you during the war?
Not much, but once I did get lost on the way to a certain place I was gathering information from.... quite embarrassing, really. Luckily I found my way, eventually.
And that just goes to show: not everyone's perfect!
No indeed. Especially a certain wheel-carer.....
Oh really?
Uh-oh, there he comes. Better get going before he catches me! Nice chatting with you.
It was my pleasure! Good evening and good luck.
I watch him swing into the trees, hearing a muffled noise that may have been a 'Thank you', but I wasn't sure. I slowly begin the long trek back to the studio to do my editing.
First post:
Yup! I'm seeking video game names from any games, but please state what game they're from. I REALLY don't care about how common they are, because if I love the game they're from I probably would be willing. :3
I have played a LOT of games, so I probably know the game at LEAST. |D
I am offering Rekoteh the choco gnorbu. Rekoteh is also a character name in a Final Fantasy game, so it's really like a name swap with you getting the good deal. C:
