Hello there i am neomyotismon, Welcome to my Turmaculus Tracking Petpage guest.

The king of all petpets is sleeping... can your petpet wake him up?? The Answer to that question is yes and you no longer have to go every single hour to try and wake him. People have claimed for ages that the hour of Waking Turmaculus is random. I assure you it isn't! I have now been tracking the Turmaculus since September 2004! (it seems longer!)

Daily Due Up Times
*If there is no time up for the current day that usually means he has been awake, check the past times of waking to be sure* ALSO check that you have the right day. :)

How I Know When He Is Due To Wake Up

THE 5 HOUR JUMP
There is a simple calculation for predicting when he is due up. +5 to the previous day's up time (Note: the AM/PM part is random as there is no set pattern and i call it the 5hr jump) So as an example:
Day 1: Turmaculus is up at 12am NST
Day 2: Turmaculus is up at 5pm NST
Day 3: Turmaculus is up at 10pm NST

THE NON 5 HOUR JUMP
Of course with any rule there are exceptions to it which have to be figured out, the 6hr jumps are just another one. These usually happen every 13 days, however they have been known to happen on day 12 and day 14. We then also have a 6-4 pattern appearing from time to time.
Day 1: Turmaculus is up 12am
Day 2: Turmaculus is up 6pm - As you see this is +6hrs rather than the usual 5hr
Day 3: Turmaculus is up 10pm - As you see this is +4hrs rather than the usual 5hr
Day 4: Turmaculus is up 4pm - As you see this is +6hrs rather than the usual 5hr
Day 5: Turmaculus is up 9am - As you see the time goes back to a normal 5hr jump.

However in September 09 something strange did occur - a 6hr jump on a day 15. Odd jumps had only happened 5 times before and are as follows: Sept 04 - 9 day 6hr jump
Aug 05 - 15 day 6hr jump
Feb 06 - 15 day 6hr jump
June 06 - 11 day 6hr jump
Sept 08 - 11 day 6hr jump
Sept 09 - 15 day 6hr jump
Jan 10 - 11 day 6hr jump

THE START OF THE MONTH JUMP
When each month goes over to the next it is usually a 7hr or 8hr jump from the START day of the previous month
Month 1: Turmaculus is up 12am
Month 2: Turmaculus is up 7am
Month 3: Turmaculus is up 2pm

Do remember the am/pm pattern is random.

How To Wake Him Up
I also know he doesn't wake for all people during his waking hour the reason for this i dunno (Yea it also happens to me).You can tell if he is awake or not by the buttons underneath Turmaculus, if there are 2 buttons when you try to wake him then he isn't up for his due up hour, if there is only 1 button then he is up just not for you.

Also you can try to wake Turmy once every hour (24hrs a day=24 tries) But he only wakes for 1hr of those 24. You can go at any time during his up hour! So if he's due up at 12am NST you can visit him between 12am - 1am NST.

The Ways you can try to wake him are as follows:
Hit him with a Stick, Ring a Bell, Kick Him, Sing to Him, Tap Dance For Him, Blow your Nose, Sneeze, Dump Cold Water on Him, Scream & Bang Pots and Pans.

For him to eat your petpet, it does appear to be random. Just for the record he can eat zapped Petpets.

Thanks to firefriendsforever for making this button i am not in need of a new button though you may make your own for your own shops, guilds look up etc. I would love to see them but i will not be using them for the petpage as i'm happy with the one i have :)

TNT Reply: Why would anyone WANT the Turmaculus to eat their poor Petpet? That's just wrong and we can't condone that type of behaviour, so sorry, no trophies for that!
