Hello there, and welcome to Perpetual, a brand new neo-related guild! We're currently semi-literate and private, so check out this page to see what you need to know about joining.
Perpetual is currently owned by
Anna and
Laura.
The main goal of Perpetual is to find a
place that's always there for you, when you're having a good day or a bad day.
We create lasting friendships with one another by remembering that everyone is different, and that's what makes each one of us special.

Guild Rules
We have a few important rules here at Perpetual, and they are as follows:
1. Please reread and continue to follow all of
TNT's rules and policies. Even if you've read them before, read them again now. We don't want Perpetual frozen because someone couldn't remember the rules.
2. We are a semi-literate guild. While smilies are okay, we don't like them over-used. Also, chatspeak is not preferred. We want to make sure that each of our members, no matter where they're from, can understand your posts. Also, please keep your
posts at least two sentences long. A good idea is to respond to multiple people in each post.
3. Please don't spam our board! This includes short posts, and multiple posts in a row.
The maximum continuous number of posts you should have is 2. If you make a typo or double post, you don't have to correct it in a new post. As long as the people in the conversation understand what's going on, you'll be fine. And if a council member doesn't show up soon to delete your double post, then it's no big deal, but normally they will.
4. Be polite to your fellow guild members. Also, please don't beg people to buy items from your shop/participate in your trades/give you their pets. If you have a problem with a guild member, take it to neomail as respectfully as you can. If you can't come to an understanding or agreement, then take your concern to a council member. We're all friends here! If you would like to remain anonymous while the situation is being handled, just say so. ^^
5. Each
new member is required to post at least
5 messages in their first week in Perpetual. Just hop on over to the guild chat page, and introduce yourself. We don't bite! If a member has been in the guild for 7 days and has not posted 5 times, one of the owners will send a warning neomail. If the problem is not corrected over the next week, then that member will be deleted from the guild. They can always reapply, however.
6. After the initial first week,
each member is required to post at least 10 messages a month. If you plan on going out of town for an extended amount of time, please neomail Anna and let her know. It's also a good idea to post what day you're leaving and what day you're coming back on the guild calendar. Member sweeps will happen on the 23rd of each month. Each member in jeopardy of being swept will be sent a warning neomail 1 week prior.

HAVE FUN! This guild is all about meeting new people, and you should have fun while you are here!
This isn't exactly a rule, but please include the name you'd like us to call you by in your font or on your userlookup. Trust me, we'd all appreciate it!
Guild Ranks
Please note that the requirements for ranks can change at any time!
Our ranks may seem a bit challenging to achieve, and that was done on purpose! Ranking up is supposed to be a bit of a challenge, and not something that can happen in a few weeks.
Transient; Congratulations! You have been accepted into Perpetual! This is the rank you will start out in. This is also the rank that members in danger of being swept will be moved to, until they correct the problem or get swept.
Ephemeral; Way to go! You have been in the guild for at least 1 week and you have posted 200 non-spam messages. You are now eligible to participate in guild auctions.
Incessant; You're becoming a big part of our family! You have posted around 500 non-spam messages and have been voted by the
Member Relations Committee as an active new member. Some suggestions to reach this rank would be to submit to the
Member Directory, or be seen on the guild boards a lot.
Constant; You are well known in the guild, and new members often come to you with their questions. You are now eligible to receive small admin privileges, such as poll maker or board monitor (as long as the guild owners approve you for this). You have posted approximately 1000 guild messages on the boards, and have have been voted by the
Member Relations Committee as an active member. Some suggestions to rank up to this rank would be submitting to the
Guild Wishlist, Joining a
Committee or
Club, or just being plain active on the chat boards!
Eternal; This rank is the hardest to get, because these members are the most dedicated to the guild! You are now officially apart of our subcouncil, and have a much better chance of being accepted into the council when applications open. There are no official requirements for this rank, because it is only given to a
select amount of members. Congrats to those of you who have made it here!
Please neomail the owner by clicking the link to the right of the page when you think you qualify for a rank up, and she will start the ranking up process!

Anna (
cinderelas_slipper): I am 20 years old and I work as a teacher in an all inclusive child development center. My particular classroom is completely catered to four wonderful children who have different types of mental disabilities. I am also taking classes right now to obtain my Child Development Associate (otherwise known as my CDA) so that I can further myself educationally and become a better teacher. No, this is not an associates degree, but it is 9 hours of nationally recognized college credit, which is fantastic! I also have a fantastic boyfriend, whom I love very much. ^^
Responsibilities:
Member Relations Committee Head: Anna is responsible for receiving applications to join the guild. Also, she is responsible for ranking up members, performing member sweeps, and sending warnings to members who are breaking guild rules. Please note that all applications received will be put to a vote for the other members of the Member Relations Committee to vote on, but Anna has the final say.
Member of the Month
Our Member of the Month will have the 5th council spot, and receive all admin powers for the month. He/she will get a taste of what owning the guild is like. He/she will get equal say when it comes to new page ideas, and the other owners
will come to him/her when they need help!

Hey there, i'm Stephy! I'm 17 years old, and i've been on neopets for about 8 years. I love to chat and collect avatars on here. I am VERY honored to be chosen for the Member of the Month position!! I really appreciate being chosen, so thank you, thank you, thank you a million times to everyone who voted! You guys are ALL amazing!
Open Council Positions
There are currently
NO open council positions at this time.
Jobs
Perpetual, instead of using the term guild jobs, prefers the term
guild committee. Each committee has different requirements before joining, so check out their page to see what you need to do to join. If there is no head of the committee, then there cannot be any members, silly!
Committee Head Positions
If you would like to become the head of a committee, send Anna a neomail and ask her what kind of qualifications you need to do so. ^^
Graphics Committee:
no one is responsible for making the guild layouts, banners, fonts, and other graphics for the guild. Our goal is to change layouts at least monthly, if not more often. Please note that all graphics made for the guild will be put up to a vote for all the members of the Graphics Committee to decide upon, but it will be ultimately up to the Graphic Committee Head to decide if the guild will use the graphic. The Guild Graphics are currently
here, until we get a head!
Newspaper Committee:
no one is responsible for running the guild newspaper, which will be full of shortened guides, short stories, member spotlights, guild updates, and other nonsense!
Welcoming Committee:
no one is responsible for hosting the welcoming committee headquarters, which will include a guild tour, some unique guild bonding activities for new members, and older ones, to get to know one another. This person will also oversee the member directory, and the penpal program.
Clubs Committee:
no one is responsible for hosting the clubs committee headquarters, and coming up with new clubs for the guild, and finding people to host them. This person should also be available to find good templates for these clubs to use.
Event Committee:
no one is responsible for hosting guild events, and guild auctions.
If you would like to be a committee head, please keep in mind that you would be expected to host a committee homepage on one of your petpages. Anna and Laura are available to help you find a good template to use, and help you figure out what kind of content to use on your page. If you are willing to do that, click the envelope to contact Anna and find out how to head your own committee. Also, if you have any ideas, please let Anna or Laura know!

Do you think that Perpetual sounds like a guild you'd love to be a part of? Absolutely fantastic! We have a
16+ year automatic acceptance (provided you meet our semi-literate specifications), but we do make exceptions for the exceptional 15 year old or younger. We want an older crowd because we want the group to have the most in common, but if you're younger, feel free to grab the
youngin's application, and we'll get started.

There is currently
no application for members who are 16 years or older! Please visit the
Member Relations Page to send in your request for an invite and your age to any of the people on the members list!

Please make sure that the name you'd like to go by in Perpetual is listed in your

userlookup. If you neglect to do this, then you
can't get mad when someone forgets your name!

Guild Points
The points system has been temporarily
disbanded. However, expect to see a new updated version by the beginning of the year. Please visit the points standings page to save your current point totals, because that page will disappear soon!
The new, and better, points system will be completely
optional to participate in, as the points can be turned in to redeem customized graphics and fonts! So keep participating in everything, so you can rack up those points!
Updates
December 14th
I know I haven't updated the website in a while, but I have been updating the front page a lot. There are, of course, loads of new things in Perpetual, and I'm probably going to forget most of them, but check out all the
Portal links and such, just to make sure I didn't forget anything.
We have completely done away with our
points system, in reguards to ranks. This is because Perpetual is slowly moving towards becoming a completely
chat based guild with optional activities, clubs, and committees to involve yourself in. However, the points will be returning when we get a graphics committee in place, because the points will be used to redeem some cool
customized graphics, so keep your eyes out for that!
Because the points system was done away with, the
Ranking System has been changed, and moved to a new page. I made it a
bit harder to rank up, but that's because I want the ranking system to reflect how long I expect the guild to last, and I expect it to last
quite a long time. However, if you already qualified for the rank up before I posted this update, I went ahead and moved you up. I figured it was only fair.
We are also in the process of looking for
two council members to help run the guild. One needs to have graphics/coding abilities, and the other needs to be an incredibly active member who loves Perpetual and is willing to host pages and be a committee head (if they aren't already). Please make sure that all applications have been turned in and completed by
Friday, December 21st, because elections start on
Monday, December 24th and will last for 1 week before revealing the new council members.
All of our committees have matching pages, so you should check those out now, and bask in their amazing-ness.

We've also had some new members join, and I want to officially welcome them to Perpetual! You guys are amazing, and I can't wait to see what's in store next for us!
December 3rd
We have a brand new
Portal, because the code to the last portal was lost. Please change all your links on your pages and such! If you are hosting a page for the guild, and it's not listed, please contact Anna!
The
Ranks Page has been updated. I did this because I realized that the points weren't equivelent to the ranks recieved. Please review the page and make sure you understand.
These may change as people are more active. I.E. 3 months of perpetual may mean all new ranks.
We have a brand new committee head,
Olivia! She now runs our event committee, so please send her a mail if you have any amazing ideas about what to do at our
1 month/winter celebration! Her committee page is currently in progress, so be on the lookout for that if you would like to join the committee!
An Adoption Agency being made by
Mindy. However, she cannot open the adoption agency until there are 5 pets in it! If you have a pet you'd like to put up for adoption, mail her.
I am officially on the hunt for a co-owner. Must have
coding/graphics expertise. If you know anyone who would be great for the position, have them shoot me a mail. If anyone inside of Perpetual is interested, please let Anna know!
The
entire guild will be voting on this co-owner, so please have them have an examples page available.
I hope to find someone by the beginning of the year.

Newly announced Member Cap at 30 members. At which time, entry in the guild will be
application based only. This is to ensure that we remain a tight knit little family.

anything goes live.

November 30th
Congratulations to
Stephy (
iluvdance13) for becoming Perpetual's FIRST Member of the Month!
Stephy has been super active on the guild boards, and has pitched in wherever she can! She even made our
guild wishlist! If you haven't submitted your wish, you should do so now!
Stephy is a model example of the people we would love to join Perpetual's family, and if you haven't met her and learned this yourself, then get to it!
For becoming our member of the Month, Stephy is being awarded the
fifth council spot and full admin, although this is only for the month.
I hope for Stephy to
get a feel for what being a co-owner of Perpetual will be like, so she is available to hear your ideas for changes in the guild and look over potential pages. She and I will be in
constant contact over the month, and will get a
HUGE say in anything new coming to Perpetual.
So go forth, my minions, and congratulate her. Then, you can feel free to
bombard her with questions and ideas, as you do me!
November 29th
Firstly, I just wanted to say
thank you to each and every one of you guys here in Perpetual. We've gotten
so many pages in the past week added to our
portal, and I can't thank you enough! I'm not going to sit here and list them out, because that would take all day!
Secondly, I will be updating the
Points Standings page every
Saturday from here on out, because you guys are so active, that I just can't keep up during the week! Please shoot my
side account a neomail on Fridays with your new point total, and
exactly how you got those points. You don't have to, but it would certainly make
my life easier!
Lastly, the website has gotten a brand new layout, courtesy of
The Lunch Box. Feel free to send
Turnip a neomail saying that you, a member of Perpetual, absolutely
love the layout she made for our guilds website!
With a new layout, comes a lot of new content! Please check out

We have lots of new members, so please neomail each of them a warm welcome! I sent out a challenge in the guild mail today, so start participating! If you did not get the guild mail, don't fear! There will be another guild mail really soon! The
