Wow, I managed to get the Attack of the Slorgs avatar after two tries (big thanks to Obiwampi's guide). So next up I'll work on upgrading Peacilsa's stats because I want to prepare her for a battle with the Space Faerie prior to getting a code!

I just got the Meerca Chase II avatar. :3 Completely by luck though, because I'm absolutely terrible at the game! Still working on Plushie Tycoon (off to a good start, I think) and ~~I'll pursue the Attack of the Slorgs avatar next.~~

Wow guys, I'm on fire with these game avatars! Buried Treasure still isn't working for me, but Stowaway Sting (pretty easy game actually) has been achieved! I've now added the Better Than You avatar onto my list of goals. :3 Next up, I'm going to work my butt of this month for Plushie Tycoon!

Oh my gosh, I just got the Faerie Bubbles avatar! :o It actually wasn't as difficult as I had assumed (Raiders of Maraqua is definitely harder). It also only took me nine days so, wow. I'm proud. :D I'll continue to work on my goals + my new goal addition is for Plushie Tycoon. I'm really excited for this one!

Erm.. I didn't send out my pets this month because I totally forgot and was being incredibly lazy. In the meantime, all lends will not be followed through unless otherwise stated. Sorry guys, I need a break. :/
On the bright side, I got the Raiders of Maraqua avatar after several months of trying so I'm pretty proud about that. :) My new goal addition is to achieve the Deckswabber avatar. The Buried Treasure goal isn't working out well for me.. I'm not that lucky.

Surprisingly, I have time right now so I decided to open up those forms. :) However, the deadline for forms has yet to be decided because I'll definitely be busy in the next few days! Some pets are still available for January, but most aren't as we have just completed another successful month of pet lending.

To save on transfers, a number of these pets are actually combination pets, meaning that it's an avatar pet with an avatar petpet attached.

Saving Up

I'm saving up to train a BD pet, and be able to help you guys retrieve the BD avatars such as the Black Pteri avatar. If you'd like to help out in the process, you can send donations in form of items for me to sell in my shop, or purchase something you might like in my shop.

Rules

Here are just some basic rules and guidelines that I require to follow.

I do not pound lend, so please do not ask that of me. Also this should be obvious, but do not pound the pet on to the next person. Use safe transfers only please.. it's a transfer lend for a reason.
Fill out the form that comes after these rules.
Return all pets in the condition they were received. Meaning no faerie quests, lab zaps, etc. This goes for petpets too.
Give me your real name or the name you use on Neopets when I ask for your username.
Follow Neopets' rules, don't get frozen, silenced or suspended when my pet is on your account.
Do not scam me, you will be reported.
When I ask for the month, don't give me a date.
Don't send the pet unless the person after you has replied to your neomail.
Do not detach the petpet under any circumstances.
Please note is an optional section for you to have me remember important details (i.e. vacations, not online for certain days of the week).
Do not leave my pets as your active, I lurk numerous boards so if you're posting, odds are I will find out and you'll go on my black list (a list of untrustworthy ACers assembled by lenders of Neopia) and never be lent again.

Notable Lendees

Every month, I run a great number of chain lends. Some lends go so horribly, that I feel a need to acknowledge those that are responsible, and notable lendees. So every month, I'll have a list of my top 10 or 5 lendees of the month posted here. These people may always ask me for another lend, and may ask for a vouch from me, as I'd be happy to help them out the way they have helped me out as well. Along with the recognition and acknowledgement, these notable lendees will receive a button, or "badge", every month to honour their responsibility. Every month's "badge" will be changed, to identify the different months. Please consider these "badges" to be a souvenir, or possibly even an award for your excellence. Take them, and place them wherever you wish. If you are not one of the notable lendees, please, do not take a "badge", it's rather pathetic.

Guide to Pet Lending

Lenders

Lendees

First and foremost, if you are not willing to give effort on your account, and keep the pets you are being lent safe, you'll end up on a blacklist. So before you ask for lends, you will need to give effort, understand the rules, and have your transfers ready.

Making your account look nice.
Obviously, if you don't put effort into your account, you'll not get lent whatever you're requesting to be lent. To start off, you shouldn't be in a hurry to get lent every pet avatar that exists right when you create an account. You need to show dedication to the site and avatars, prior to getting lent. I always suggest lendees to at least have an account age of four months before considering to ask for a lend. Although your account age doesn't leave an enormous mark on the quality of your account, your avatar count definitely does. Try to get at least 200 avatars before you start trying for the more special pet avatars. This will show that you are an actual avatar collector, especially with a variety of different categorized avatars. Having that said, even if you have a humanly impossible amount of avatars, you have to remember that everything else is a big reflection of your neopian life. If the only thing you do is collect avatars, you won't show a lot of colors. I'd suggest working on getting trophies, restocking, or something besides avatars. This will show that you don't only work on avatars, but also on other neopian events. Participation in plots and such are great as well.

Checking your transfers.
Before even thinking about requesting for a lend, you should always make sure that you have transfers ready for whichever month you are applying for. I cannot tell you how annoying it is to receive a neomail from a lendee saying that they can no longer be lent in a specific month, because they couldn't calculate the amount of transfers they have per month. Use sites like Sunnyneo or The Daily Neopets, to find a transfers chart. Now, even if you have already realized that you don't have as many transfers as you thought, nothing can be changed.. don't beat yourself up over it. Simply remember to check your transfers next time, and give your lender about 48 hours of notice if you have to leave a lend due to transfer shortage.

Read the rules.
This is one of the most important things to remember. It's true, rules for each lenders are usually very similar. Having that said, it is still important to read the rules, as this is a sign of respect. It shows that you understand everything that the lender wants you to keep in mind, to have a safe lend. You have to remember that by not reading the rules, you have no idea as to what the lender is expecting of you, and you really won't know what you're signing up for. So be smart, read the rules, and don't make your lender angry.

Lenders

If you are not willing to spend time on your lends, they will not end smoothly. So before you can lend out pets, you will need to have your pets and transfers ready.

Finding your pets.
There are three ways I know of that are great for finding pets to lend out. The first method, the easiest and most expensive method, is to make your own pets and paint them whichever color they need to be. The second method is to adopt them from the pound, that is, if you're lucky enough to encounter them. The last method is to adopt other people's pets or have them donated to you to lend out. Usually, the last method is difficult, if you do not already own your own lending agency or aren't close friends with generous neopians that are willing to give away their avatar pets. I'd suggest using your own neopoints to purchase paint brushes to paint your pets and petpets, as that's what I do myself. If you own a lab ray, this will help a lot because you might get lucky and zap out an avatar pet.

Usage of transfers.
It'd be very beneficial if you had side accounts that have free transfers, because your agency will grow and eventually you'll run out of those precious transfers. Those with longer account ages are much more fortunate, as you'll have more transfers in a single month. However, if you own younger accounts like myself, you'll not have enough transfers to spare. In this case, you'll have to begin lending out certain pets every other month. Take a look at my Fire Blumaroo list, for example. If you notice, my lends are spaced a month in between so that my Meowclops list, can have a turn every other month as well. Now, if you're planning to use more than one transfer for one account, you must remember that you can not send out more than one pet on the same day.

Creating a petpage.
This is a very important part of lending agencies, or rather site-making as a whole. You must remember to have a page that has a professional layout, and something that catches your visitors' eyes. If you do not know how to code, you can simply use premades from amazing sites like Nienke's Premades, Sparkle, and Sugary Premades. They all offer simple, clean, and easy to use layouts. On the other hand, if you do not like using premades, you can always request a layout at a breath-taking site like Foomanshu. Be sure to keep your site clean, easy to use, and avoid having any errors in your writing.

Is it necessary to say something like, "I acknowledge this pet is the property of -username- and promise to return it."?
If you want more security with your pets, you could ask them to say that. However, if you're only lending to friends, they probably wouldn't do much harm. Also, it depends on the pet you're lending, it's rare to find anyone try to steal anything besides Draiks + Krawks. Another thing you should note is that TNT may not do anything about your report, regardless of what the lendees said, because they're very busy people with many issues to deal with on a daily basis. Retrieving pets of low value probably isn't one of their priorities, especially because if you're lending these pets out, you should be aware that there's always a risk that you are taking.

What should I do if someone tries to keep the pet or if it ends up on the wrong account?
If someone tries to keep the pet, you could report it and give support of your ownership through screenshots. You could also ask other lendees to back you up, though I don't know how much that'd help because they could've always been another one of your accounts. But again, TNT may not deal with the issue because of reasons explained in the previous answer. The final thing you could do is try to reach out to whoever stole your pet.. talk to them and get things straight. You never know, you may be able to change their decision so it's always worth a try.

Is it helpful to have each person neomail the next one two-three days in advance?
It is definitely helpful to have people neomail the next a few days (or even the day before) prior to confirm that they'll be ready to receive the pet. I tend to ask them to send the confirmation neomail to the next person once they receive the pet themselves, because it kind of works better (someone could confirm two days before, but not show up the day of), in my opinion. Sometimes this could throw the schedule behind a bit due to to different time zones, but I'd rather have a delayed schedule than a bounced back transfer.

Going away for a week, or maybe you aren't available on certain days of the week? Let me know under the "please note" option on the request form, and I'll include it here. When I check lists, I'll be sure to take a look here, in order to change your date of lend if the lend is delayed. It'll also ensure that I won't remove you from the lend if you haven't been spotted in a while if you're on vacation and such.

Randomly get the Buried Treasure avatar. I've been a big fan of Krawk Island and Buried Treasure for quite a while. I'm hoping to be able to randomly be awarded the avatar, as I've been playing Buried Treasure for nearly a year already. Support me by spreading the Buried Treasure and Krawk Island love! When you get the avatar while playing a game of Buried Treasure, screenie it, put it onto a petpage, then send it to me. I'd love to create a gallery of lucky freaks. :P

Prepare Peacilsa for a battle against the Space Faerie. I'll achieve 250 attack + defence strength, and 245 HP for Peacilsa through the Mystery Island Training School and the Lab Ray.

Randomly (or not so randomly) get the Cell Block avatar.

FAQs

These are answers to questions, please do not ask us a question that is already on here.

Would it be too late to get on the *insert month here* lend?
Take a look at my lists. If on the list, the month is there for that pet and there are spots available, it's not too late! Don't be afraid to send in a form.

Something came up in real life (i.e. loss of power/internet, loss of someone, school, work, etc) and I couldn't get on for my scheduled date, could I schedule for later date in the same month?
Yes, but I'll only do so if you neomail me about this at least two days before your original lend.

You never responded to my neomail, should I send it to you again?
I always have reasons for ignoring neomails. Perhaps you didn't read the rules, or your question has already been answered on the site. Or maybe you didn't reach my secret requirements. So I'd suggest re-reading and going through this site, then perhaps, after a week or two, re-send your neomail.

I saw your board at the avatar chat and I see that you are lending your pets. What are your requirements?
At the moment, I have no basic requirements whatsoever. Simply read the rules, and send a form in. If you receive a response, you'll be lent!

How many days in advance do you check to see that we have less than 4 pets?
Typically speaking, I check your accounts one to two weeks before your lend. If I see that you are last spotted one days or more ago or you have four pets the day before your lend, you'll be taken off the lend without notice. This is done to ensure that you ARE ready for the lend, and you remembered about it.

Does receiving a pet count as a transfer for the receiver?
Yes, it does. What we refer to as "one transfer", is actually two (one for receiving, and the other for sending out).

Do you lend side accounts?
If your side accounts meet my secret requirements, I'll lend you. However, if your main account meets these requirements but your side account doesn't, I will definitely not be lending you.

Can we can send a pet to the next person in the morning and accept another in the afternoon?
Yes, you may send a pet to the next person in the morning and accept another pet in the afternoon. However, this will only work if the first pet has already been accepted.

What to do if there is an empty day before or after my name? Is it okay to contact the closest person to arrange early transfer or must the pet be held that extra day?
It'd be great if you could contact the next person to arrange an early transfer. However, if you do do this, please be sure to let me know. If there is no one after your name, though, it almost always means that the chain lend has come to an end, so at this point, you should neomail me to get the name of the side account the pet lives on.

How long do we have to wait to transfer a pet to next person?
You can transfer the pet to the next person anytime past midnight NST.

What's adoptable by under four months?
Only Quad and Harris are adoptable by neopians with accounts under four months of age.

Can I request for more than one lend?
Yes, but please include them in the same form.

Thanks for adding me, but I can't do that date could you move me?
Yes I'll move you, but next time PLEASE state in your request that you can't do that date for whatever reason. :S

Just because someone has lent you before, does not mean that I have to. Each pet has different requirements, and often the more in demand the pet is, the higher the requirements are. Sorry, I'll only lend you if your account meets the secret requirements.
