Here is a quick guide to restocking which i have put together. Restocking is by far the easiest way to earn NP imo, and it is where i've earnt nearly all of my NP. Hope you find it useful! :D

What is restocking?

Restocking is buying items in the shops in Neopia, and then selling them in your own shop to make a profit.

Starting off

When you start restocking, depending on the shops you restock in, you're going to need about 10,000 - 20,000NP. The only shops i bother restocking in, are the Food shop, and the Pharmacy. A lot of people Restock in all the other shops though. But as i only Restock in these 2 shops, this guide will just be for them.

You have to have a lot of patience to Restock, the shops can take anything from 5 to 30 minutes to restock each time, and all it takes is for you to get distracted for 30 seconds, for you to miss out on the Restock.

You're going to need to refresh every couple of seconds in the shop to make sure you catch the Restock just as it happens, you can click on the shop keeper to refresh. But make sure you don't refresh too constantly for a long period of time because you can get yourself restock banned. This is where all shops in Neopia will appear empty to you, and it can be for a random amount of time, but usually not more than 24 hours. This is to prevent people cheating by using Autobuyers to restock.

Once you have bought your items from the shops, go to the shop wizard and search for the item, this will tell you how much other people are selling the item for. If you put it at the lowest price you see, it should sell very quickly.

Haggling and Buying items.

The most important thing in Restocking is time. There are hundreds of other people Restocking in the same shops as you, and it takes a while to get up to speed in Restocking to be able to get the worthwhile items. You need to make sure you click on the item as soon as you see the one you want, waiting a few seconds to decide which one you want will just result in them all being gone when you go to haggle.

Don't haggle for rare items, if you see something that you know is an Unbuyable, or an expensive item, you should try and put a price in as close to the asking price as you can. To save valuable seconds, you should use number combinations such as 1234, 1111, 1233, 1222. Using these can cut down your time trying to type the exact figure in, just try and get a combination which is close to the asking price.

Once you click on the item you want to buy, it will ask you to put the price you want in, generally i try not to put it any less than 50-100NP less than the asking price, depending on the price of the item. Once you've put the price in, there'll be a box underneath, and it'll ask you to click a certain NeoPet in the picture. This bit is pretty self-explanatory. Once you've clicked the Neopet, that's the process over, and you just have to hope you were quick enough!

When putting the price in, you don't have to delete the 0 in the box, you can just write the number after it, this saves valuable seconds.

Restocking in the Pharmacy

The Pharmacy is a good shop to restock in, because once you put the items in your shop, if you put them at the lowest price in the shop wizard, they will most likely sell instantly, because people are always buying cures for their Neopets when they're sick. There is a very limited amount of items which are Restocked in the Pharmacy too, because there are only 35 items available in it. Most shops take a while to get used to all the different items, so a shop with a smaller stock is a better place for a beginniner Restocker.

Items to look out for: The items which i normally restock with are:

Neopox pizza, which you can buy for about 120NP, and sell for around 3000NP.
Hoochie Coochie tablets, you can buy these for 400NP, and sell them for around 12,000NP.
Medicinal Soap, can buy it for 1111NP, sells for 12,000NP.
Tongue Shrinker Injection, you can buy it for 1000NP, sells for about 4000NP.

These items are ones which i normally restock with, and restocking with ONLY these items, i have made over 150,000NP in a few hours. :) I use these items because they restock in bulk and therefore are easier to get.
There are quite a few unbuyables in the Pharmacy. These are items which cost over 100,000NP. You cannot buy items which are priced at 100,000NP or over, in a persons shop. The items which are unbuyable in the Pharmacy are:

Sporkle syrup.
Magic Goop.
Tasty Pie.

Once you start restocking a bit, you will see which items take a while to sell, and which sell quickly, this will give you a general idea of what you can make a profit on. It'll take you a while to get your speed up, and once you have it is worth it. Generally the more expensive items restock in the same kind of place, near the top or bottom of the page, this is something else you will get used to after a while.
