Hello, welcome to N.V.B website!
NVB is a neo-related guild that prides ourselves in being a very crazy, chatty, and wired bunch of people. Here at NVB we consider ourselves to be an avatar guild, but we are also a goal-based guild. A goal-based guild will help each and every member enjoy themselves on Neopets and also we will make sure each member completes all their neo goals. Whether your goal is to get 300 avvies or you want to save for a Draik or Drawk the guild will be there to support you. At NVB no member is left behind.
We don't do contests because they against the rules, but we do have neo based activities to earn you bragging rights. We have an awesome adoption program, guild yearbook, and a lot more. Here at NVB our focus is everyone. This guild is run by YOU, so if you want to do something or make something for the guild, then DO IT.
Here are N.V.B we have many activities you can participate in! Below is a list and a description of what we offer at N.V.B. :)
Weekend 1np auctions - These auctions are hosted by Roo. All items are started at 1np and the max raise is 10np, so you will always get a deal on these items! You must have 600 non spam messages to participate in them.
Jen-Kat's Games , Emily's Activities, and Allison's Activities - Activities hosted by Jennifer, Allison, and Emily! Fun activities to do and you just have to send the answers in to them. You can win a lot of points this way. :)
Guild Mall - This is a Mall, kind of like the ones you see on the notice board, except this one is for N.V.B members only! A great way to make neopoints and advertise the guild at the same time.
Adoption Agency - This is N.V.B Adoption Agency! UFA pets, UFT pets, and you can even trade your points for petpets! We might have your dream neopet.
Cookbook - This is where the members of N.V.B post their delicious recipes. Making one yourself earns you points, plus you get some scrumptious food. :)
THIS IS JUST A SNEAK PEAK OF WHAT WE OFFER. WE OFFER SO MUCH, YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT ALL.
Chat rules:
1. Follow the Neopets Terms and Conditions and Chat Rules.
2. Respect others. This is an iffy one because respect can't really be defined. But if someone tells you to stop, stop. If you're annoying someone and you know it, stop. If you feel annoyed but can't seem to figure out why, neomail a council member. Not everyone can get along, but we can come close.
3. No drama on the boards! If you have a problem with one of the members, take it up with them via neomail, or even better, let a council member know.
4. Be literate enough for people to understand you. You know what that means, but if not, that means don't speak with weird symbols or numbers, and try your best to spell things correctly. Once or twice as a joke is fine, but don't make it a habit and don't do it all the time.
5. One, two, three posts and you're out! Post no more than two posts in a row.
6. No discussing activity/event answers. Anything that is meant to be kept a secret from others, keep it a secret! The conundrum wouldn't be a conundrum if everyone knew the answer! A secret avatar wouldn't be secret if everyone knew the solution! So keep quiet about it!
7. Post at least ten non-spam messages per month, otherwise you will be swept from the guild for inactivity. Here are some exceptions:
-Side accounts
-Advanced notice of absence (vacation, family emergency, school, work, etc.)
-Silencing (although this should never happen, we understand that it does. There is some leniency to this exception, but not an absolute waiver.)
-Note that you can still be swept for inactivity if you do post ten non-spam messages a month
Guild rules:

3. No begging for items/donations/lends. Asking for something is called a wishlist. Begging for something is asking more than once.
4. Follow all guild event and activities rules. They should be clearly stated on the petpage. If they are not or you cannot find them, or they are unclear, neomail the host of the event to have them posted or rewritten.
5. No activity/event is required. They are there to keep the guild active and, for those who want to participate, to keep them happy.
6. Add your poll name at the beginning of every poll you make. If you don't your poll is pretty much useless and may be taken down. Polls are never a deciding factor and will/should never be used as such things such as voting for council, competition events, decision-making, etc.
Disciplinary action is given to anyone who breaks the rules, and are weighted depending on the seriousness of the rule broken. The more serious of a rule broken, the more steps that may be skipped in the following disciplanary process:
1. You will be given up to five total warnings, or up to three warnings per rule broken. Warnings are given out in the form of neomails with the subject "NVB Warning" along with the rule(s) broken. They will never be posted on the boards. That is to differentiate between a warning and a reminder, and prevent embarrassment/harassment. Reminders are not a part of the infraction process.
2. If applicable, you will have your administrative powers taken away from you. This may be temporary, or it may be permanent until you earn these privileges back.
3. You will be suspended from the guild temporarily. This means you will not be able to access any part of the guild, participate in activities, earn points, etc. Note that this time will still count against your monthly ten non-spam messages.
4. You will be temporarily kicked out of the guild. This means you will lose all post counts, points, and otherwise prestige you have invested into the guild. You may apply after you have been kicked out, but you may or may not be let back into the guild.
5. You will be permanently banned from the guild. This should be self-explanatory....
Only the almighty Roo may make spelling mistakes!
Amateur - Just Joining the guild
Ordinary - 250 messages
A Master - 650 messages
Upper Class - 2,000 messages
Elite Player - 5,500 messages
If you are Elite Player, you get extra 200 personal points
In order to apply to join for NVB, you must fulfill these requirements:
- 250 Avatars
- 4 month old account or older
- 3 or more game trophies
If you fulfill these requirements, and if you've read and agree with the rules, you can post your application on our board, or neomail your application to Roo, Jenn, or Zrizt. Please note that we are not always recruiting members, so we may not always admit you even though you may fulfill these requirements.

No! We don't force you to do anything.

NOTHING! If you join a guild to get something we don't want you in our guild. Newbie packs and prizes are against the rules.
Q: I was kicked out of the guild. Why?
We do member sweeps every month. NVB isn't about how many members we have, but rather how active they are! So make sure you post post post! If there is a reason why you are inactive remember to neomail Roo!
