.:~Greetings~:.
The sun is going down, in many different soft colors of red. You have been hiking in the mountains for about three hours now. You decide to head back, when you hear something stirring in the brush ahead. A xweetok steps out, a dark blue blindfold over its eyes.
Hello.' He greets you with a warm smile.
Hi...who are you?' You ask. The xweetok's fur color is a darkish green and the stripe on its back is a lighter green. There are a couple strange markings on its legs and tail. What you are most puzzled about, is the fact that the xweetok seems to see you somehow...
My name is Shiro.' It replies.
How...can you see me?' You ask. Shiro smiles and walks up to sit in front of you. You kneel down to meet his level.
I can feel the vibrations in the earth. I see with my feet.
Oh...
Where are you headed?' Shiro asks.
Back into town...its a little while down this trail.' You reply.
I'll walk back with you then.' Shiro offers. You nod, and he begins a rather interesting conversation.

.:~My Life~:.
So, what do you remember about your childhood?' You ask. Shiro seemed very nice, so you didn't mind asking about his past.
Well, I don't remember much of my childhood.' Shiro says.
I remember my parent's faces faintly, but the rest is just a blur.
I see...' You say.
What I do remember is this...
*Part One*
When I was born, my parents were so happy to have had their first child. We lived happily in a cabin on the side of a mountain. When I was five, I remember there was this terrible fire. I don't remember how it started. But my mother and I were trapped in the kitchen. My father had come back in for us and he grabbed my paw. We rushed past one of the windows in the living room, but part of the house came crashing down on top of my mother. The force of the crash smashed the window to thousands of little shards and pieces. When I heard the crash I looked up, and the shards lodged themselves inside my eyes. They put cuts and scratches all over my face.
I don't remember much after that. But I know my mother didn't make it. My father did take me to a doctor, to see if my eyes could be saved. But even if he had tried to help me hours before, he wouldn't have been able to do anything about them. So he just helped stop infection from setting in all the cuts on my face. However, my father had taken in too much smoke from the fire...and he died a few days later.
*Part Two*
After my father passed away, I lived in the mountains. I developed sharper senses, and learned to be one with the earth. Being able to feel vibrations in the ground came slowly to me, but surely enough, as I practiced with them, I became better. I taught myself how to be able to use my powers. However, I would have never learned anything if I didn't trust and respect mother nature.
When I was sixteen, I found someone to look after me. A wealthy but kind human. She had no other neopets, just me so we spent a lot of time together. She also happened to be an etiquate teacher. Thats where I learned all my manners from. She was strict but nice about it, seeing as I was blind and I hadnt been raised by anyone really. When I turned seventeen she let me go back to the mountains. I had been longing to feel the soft grass between my toes again.
*Part Three*
Some months later I met Eve. A curious xweetok who kept to herself mostly, as well as Hiroshi. They're both two of the best friends I've ever had.
We made it to the lands of Kioku Saisei and met many other xweetoks there. Though they were all searching for some kits, we decided to help out a bit. On the way I met the most wonderful xweetok, Akiko. She is shy but a very nice soul...
.:~Love~:.

Like I said she is quite shy, but very kind. I can't really 'see' her but I'm sure she is quite beautiful. However we aren't exactly a 'couple' yet...for now I can only hope we will be someday...
.:~Friends~:.

Hiroshi is a very good friend of mine. We have known each other for a while and I am glad to have met such a kind yet fierce friend.

Eve is a strange xweetok I met a little while before we traveled to Kioku Saisei. She used to be hot tempered and rude, however her recent visit to her mother revealed many interesting things about her. She turned out to be a princess!

Fericeus, I met when we first came to the strange land of Kodoku. He is a nice xwee, from what I can tell. He is a little bit like Eve, they are both fighting a sibling, which must be hard.

Kiyake I also met in Kodoku. I don't know too much about her, but she seems very sweet and caring. I'm sure we'll be good friends.

^ Thanks to Nix-Sil!!
.:~Farewell~:.
You look down at Shiro.
So I guess your story has sort of a happy ending?' He turns his head up at you and then back straight ahead.
Yes I suppose you could say that.' He stopped at the edge of the forest. 'This is as far as I go, I'm sorry.' He turns around and you thank him for the company back down the mountan. Then you walk the rest of the way back home.
