KYLE'S GUIDE TO DUNGEON DASH!

!!WARNING!! - [PLEASE DO NOT STEAL MY IMAGES OR TEXT FROM MY GUIDE]

Welcome kyle_leblanc, to kyle_leblancs game guide for Dungeon Dash.
Things important to note are that this guide was created for players using Abigail and not AAA, though most of the information will still be useful.
Your score is of no importance in this game, the objective is to complete all 5 levels which gives 5k points; 1k for each level completed.
Time is of essence in this game because there is a guard chasing you as you try to survive your challenges ahead.
The first few times you play the game will be confusing, don't worry, it is necessary to master the controls because you won't ever beat it the first few tries.
It's almost impossible to beat the entire game in only a few tries. Don't get too frustrated!

GAME UPDATES:

Finally, get familiar with the hotkeys to play the game:

Spacebar X C V B N
Normal Jump Shovel Bubble Spring Helmet Shield

Tools

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
LEVEL ONE - Snowmuncher?
To pass this level, all you need is the SHOVEL tool that you collect at the start.
You can either use your mouse and click on the tool to carve though blocks in your path just like Snowmuncher.
You can also the the hotkey "X" on your keyboard to perform this task.
You can shovel your way through blocks from as much as 3/4 of a block away.
On your way out of this level you will get a new tool, the BUBBLE.
LEVEL TWO - Turmac Roll?
Granted you have the second tool, the BUBBLE you will get a another.
If you are playing with Abigail you can use the BUBBLE, hotkey "C" and roll over all of the hills and the mud pits (See image above) until you get the new tool, the SPRING.
Extra tip for AAA and Abigail, you can 'hold' the hotkey "C" to roll with the bubble across flat land and small hills at the fastest rate possible.
When you approach a tree stump just use the SPRING, hotkey "V" to jump over then continue rolling using the BUBBLE.
If you are using AAA then you will NOT be able to roll over all the hills.
You will have to spring jump some then roll downhill (See image below).
This level is easy as there is nothing to take any of your lives.
AAA cannot roll up these hills using the BUBBLE they way Abigail can.
LEVEL THREE - Destruct-O-Match?
This level is a tricky one, but relatively easy.
Collect and use the SPRING tool, hotkey "V" to jump over pillars more than 3 blocks tall.
Remember than pillars that are stacked with only 2 blocks may be jumpable with the regular SPACEBAR jump.
Using this jump saves you time and gets you further ahead of the Guard chasing you.
The new tool for this level is a HELMET. Getting this tool can be a task in itself.
If you are fortunate enough it will be between two pillars with only one block height.
However, if you don't plan ahead you can miss collecting this tool. (See image below)
Granted that you have the HELMET you can now proceed though the stage but look out for falling blocks.
The strategy that has worked for me is to constantly press the hotkey "B" for the HELMET while jumping my way across.
This will take some practice.
In this instance, if you used the SPRING and jumped the pillar, no matter if your dropped or jumped across you would miss the HELMET.
To get to the HELMET in this example, you can use the SHOVEL tool to break down the pillar.
LEVEL FOUR - Ice-Cream Machine?
This level is argued to be the hardest. Mainly because the outcome is random.
You will get a new tool in this level, the SHIELD. However, you may not always get to collect the tool at the start of the stage.
In in the air, there are ice-cream flying towards you, their heights are random but very important!
If the ice-cream flying towards you is below your head use the new SHIELD tool, hotkey "N".
If not, and it is above your head or aimed at your head use the HELMET tool.
This is critical knowlede as you will have to jump over pillars using the SPRING tool while blocking/dodging these ice-ceam.
The strategy that has worked best for me is to wait behind pillars until flying ice-creams have passed.
In the example above, if I jumped using the HELMET I could risk getting hit in my chest and lose a life.
The floors of this level is also a challenger, where you see ice-cream blobs on the gound like the one in the picture, you can use the BUBBLE tool to roll over quickly.
You can use the SPRING tool to jump over them or press the SPACEBAR repeatedly to normal jump across it without jumping too high and risk being hit by a flying ice-cream.
LEVEL FIVE - Stowaway Sting?
By this level you should have mastered which key uses what tool.
I say this because it is important as this level has many opportunities to lose what lives you have left!
There is no real strategy for beating this level, it all depends on your skill and dexterity at this point.
There are four ways to lose lives in this level, I will list them below and give you the solution to avoid them.
Spikes (See image above) - Use the BUBBLE tool to roll across them
Floor Holes - Use Normal Jump, the SPRING, or roll over it using the BUBBLE
Kougra Pirates - Use your HELMET, it is the only way
Skeith Pirates (See image above) - The SHIELD can stop the baddies with ease
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Once you have passed all these obstacles with at least one of your lives intact while escaping the guard you will win the game.
You need a total score of 5000 points to win; that is 1000 points per level.
Hopefully you made it past all the levels and you get to submit your score without a glitch.
I wish you the best and at least an hour or two, of free time.
