Welcome to The Neo Getaway. We are an adult guild for ages 18+. We are literate guild meaning we speak on the boards in English and do not allow chat speak. We are friendly and talkative and have members from all around the world.

Our guild is neopets related in that we like to share knowledge and information we have learned playing neopets. Our guild is for friendship mainly and while we do have activities to keep the interest of our members, these activities are for the guild members' enjoyment only and there will never be any rewards, prizes, giveaways or contests associated with our guild. We have a Gallery of the Week and Pet of the Week and the members get a pretty banner for their pet's lookup or their gallery.

We welcome new members are if you are interested, feel free to contact any of our guild council listed below. Please note however, there are certain things we do not permit. For instance, we will not tolerate any person who begs or scams and such conduct will result in the person immediately being banned from our guild with no warning. We also do not allow chat speak or role playing. We also ask all of our members to pay attention to the Rules of Neopets and not to enter into discussions of a nature that Neopets does not allow. We also ask our members to be mindful of others and to take people's feelings into consideration before they post. And finally, we ask that you bring people into their conversations and to acknowledge their enquiries on the boards especially when they are new. Working together creates harmony and peace in the guild.

Guild Rules

1. This guild is for persons age 18 and up. This guild is private and membership is by invitation only. To be eligible for membership, your account must be at least four (4) months old. Membership is limited to main accounts only although if you wish to bring in side accounts plus your main this is perfectly acceptable. Side accounts are ranked as "In the Clouds" and have no regular membership privileges. There is currently one side accounts as main members. He joined before the main account rule was passed and was grandfathered as members.

2. No begging and/or scamming will be tolerating and any member found to be doing this will be immediately banned from the guild with no warning.

3. No chatspeak is allowed. Members will be warned once about using chatspeak and after that may be removed from the guild with no further warning.

4. No role playing is allowed. Members will be warned once about role playing and after that may be removed from the guild without further warning.

5. Any activities must be approved by the guild council before being undertaken by a member.

6. Side accounts are permitted in the guild. A side account will be classified as "In the Clouds" and is not eligible for any membership privileges. Galleries on side accounts are eligible for the Honour of Gallery of the Week on the side account's main account. Gallery of the Week will receive a banner made especially for the Gallery.

7. An account will be considered inactive if it has not ever posted or has not posted for 30 days. All inactive accounts will not be eligible to receive the honours of Member of the Day, Gallery of the Week or Pet of the Week as well as other guild activities as may be decided upon from time to time. To become active again, a member needs to post.

8. In the sole discretion of the executive council, an inactive member may be deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Members who have advised that they will be inactive for a period of time due to vacations or real life circumstances will not be deleted.

9. Rank is decided as follows:
(a) Tourist - you are checking out the guild and you have not posted more than 100 times.
(b) In the Clouds - you are a side account.
(c) Beach Bum - you are pretty well a regular member now and you have not posted more than 2500 times.
(d) Sun Worshipper - You have posted more than 2500 times.
(d) Wave Rider - You are a member of the guild's Sub-Council.

10. Donation to the Guild is not mandatory. We do fund 1 np auctions so it is appreciated but it is certainly not mandatory.

Gallery of the Week

Due to a poll of the members, effective May 18, 2008, this Honour will be given once per week on Saturdays. The honoured gallery will receive a special banner. To add your gallery to the Parade of Galleries, please mail nashie363comesback
You may add your gallery on your main or any side which is a member of the guild in an amount up to 5 which is the maximum permitted by neopets rules.
