Introduction + About Me

Hi there guest, my name is Gelert and welcome to my application for Wykh, the lost desert gelert. I have been on neo for 8 and a half years and still loving it. It was my brother who introduced me to neo. My brother told me to pick a neopet on his main account for my own. I instantly picked a gelert and was told to choose something else! My first neopet was Jepoa my skunk kacheek. I then created Drucu the electric shoyru. I finally got my wish and created Rizzon my strawberry gelert! It didn't take long for me to make my own account and many other sides full of gelerts!

I spend most of my time on neo saving to paint my pets and clothe them. I LOVE customization which I take full advantage of to make my pets look unique. I clothe my pets to also reflect their personality and backstory. I also roleplay my pets which comes in handy with my university course - Creative Writing. This gives me a chance to practice on my writing skills and mould characters. I have recently been awarded trophies for The Random Contest and The Neopian Times, I plan to aquire a few more of them in the comming months ^-^

My Neo Family

I have many pets and to describe everyone of them would no doubt bore so I have decided to pick one from each account...

Opheleah is my cloud gelert on my main account. She is based on Shakepeare's Ophelia on his play Hamlet. She is a little green thumb who spends most of her time with her petpet, Douglas. Opheleah is incredibly shy which tends to cripple her in social situations.

Octaveah is on my lab account but is a permie who will never be labbed. She is terribly girly and is her own boss. Her strong personality tends to clash with Tric which makes interesting RP stories if they appear together.

Gemolie, known as Lie (Lee) is a sea cook for The Esophagor's Revenge, a ship owned by a few...interesting neopets ^^

Torhek is a die hard yooyu ball fan who hopes to be the next Tandrak Shaye. He is very stubborn and likes to do everything his own way which may grow to be a problem whilst working in a yooyu ball team.

Gloopy is my faerie grundo. I adopted her from the pound as a blue grundo many, many years ago. When I read her name I knew that she would never be adopted unless I did something about it. I painted her in the rainbow pool not long after I adopted her, she has been faerie ever since :)

Why I want Wykh

I have wanted a female desert gelert for some time now so I that would be my first reason why I would love to give Wykh a new home. Wykh would go onto one of my side accounts which does not mean that she will get less due care and attention that my main account pets recieve. I love all my pets and they all have their own special meaning to them.

*** I particularly like her name, it is short and quirky and easy to pronounce. Wykh is going to be a quirky character full of energy. She will be confident and speak her mind (whether that be appropriate or not!). Wykh will be very active, ironically spending most of her time in Terror Mountain snow boarding. She would have great admiration for the Snow Faerie and admit that majortiy of their clothes are inspired by her. I have planned her clothing which shall consist of many Neo Cash items to complete her wintery theme.

Roleplay Example

Wykh inhaled the icy air, stinging her nostrils and filling her lungs with chilling oxygen. She squeezed her eyes shut and breathed in a second time. A gentle breeze flew towards her as small snowflakes kissed her cheeks and quickly melted into her face. She shook her glossy, black bob and blew her bangs away from her eyes. She snapped her eyes open and looked below her. She stood upon a large mountain covered with thick snow and fir trees. Wykh placed her large furry snow boots onto her snowboard and clipped them in. She rubbed her gloved hands together and grinned as Wykh raised her arms and pulled her snow goggles over her blue eyes, sucking the winter atmosphere through her teeth, stinging her gums. 'Here goes then...' She whispered to herself as she brushed down her knitted sweater. She wobbled slightly but regained her balance. 'Oops...close one.' She inched forwards and slowly tipped her body weight downwards, squatting and stretching her arms out. The board began to slowly decline down the mountain.

Conclusion

Thankyou for taking the time to read through my application for Wykh. May I add that I was never asked to make this application but it was through choice. I feel that I would be ideal to be Wykh's new owner as I roleplay my pets, customize them and create indepth characters for them. I have been on neo for a considerable amount of years and have remained consistant. I hope you seriously consider my application and thankyou again.
