Whack-A-Kass can be a very annoying game sometimes. It seems impossible to get past the second difficulty. You might not even be able to get past the first level. Well I have created a guide that should help you!
When playing Whack-A-Kass you need to concentrate. Sure it looks like an easy game, but to get a high score you need to pay attention.
Whacking the Kass!
Ok so you want to make it to the next level. Look down at the corner of the screen to see how fast the wind is blowing. It would help you if the wind was at 9 and not -9. If it's at 9 hit the spacebar or click the mouse, (depending on which one you're using) and try to hit the Kass with. Try to fling the Kass high in the air. Now I didn't notice this for along time. Maybe you haven't either. You can actually control the Kass' flight! Let me explain. When the Kass is in the air, and you're not touching any keys or the mouse, you will see the Kass flying in the air but flapping his wings. That pushes against the air. When you hold down the spacebar or the mouse, he will bring his wings in and they won't flap. What you need to do is, when you hit the Kass; hold down the space key or clicker until it gets to its maximum height and when it starts falling let go and let the wings go out again. This should make it go a little further.
Bouncing
Ok you've seen the part where the Kass hits the ground and bounces a few times before stopping right? He bounces maybe one, two, or three times depending on how fast he was going. The truth is, he can actually bounce up to five times. I'll tell you how to do this. Right when he lands you need to hit the space bar or click on the mouse. You need to do this every time he bounces. That will make him bounce harder so he will bounce again. I've only been able to do this five times. Maybe it's possible to make him bounce more. If you can let me know =)
Easter Eggs
Here are a few things I find funny in the game.
The flag on the tree branch waves in the wind telling you where the wind is blowing.
They use the same background over and over in the same level, until you get to the woods, then they just keep repeating that!
