INSTRUCTIONS!

You will need the following things:

Blue Felt sheets, and pink, red, black, white and green scraps of felt

And matching thread colors

A sewing needle

and Craft stuffing
You will also need a pattern. Remember all these patterns are created entirely by myself so please don't steal them! If you see this pattern anywhere else on this site and it is not credited to me please let me know!

Simply save this image to your computer and print off as a full page and you will have the basic pattern. Cut out the pieces and pin them to your felt.

Cut out the pieces and you will be ready to start work on your own blue meowclops plushie!
Sewing! This is a hard finiky project to do it may take a while and involves a lot of squashing and pinching of pieces but it is doable so keep working on it!
We will start with sewing the pieces of the head together. First take two of the four head pieces and sew the straight edge together.

then you should have a piece that looks like this:

now do the same with the other two pieces you have left so you have two pieces that look the same.
Onto the ears! First take one piece of the blue ear felt and place a pink ear piece on top of it. Pin it into place and sew around all three sides. This will be your inner ear!

Do this with another piece of pink and blue felt and you will have both your inner ears done. Now you need to sew the backs on!

sew around the two longer edges and leave the bottom open.

now poke the ear inside out and flatten it. Do the same with the other ear and your ears are complete!
Moving onto the tail. If you notice we are sewing together all our pieces before we actually assemble the plushie, this will make it A LOT easier in the long run. So take two pieces of your tail and sew together the straight edge of them.

Open it up and you should have a piece that looks like this:

Do the same for the other two pieces and your tail is almost finished!
Place both pieces together with the seams facing outside and sew around leaving an opening for stuffing.

Now you need to flip it inside out. I find it easiest to pull on the sewn end much like opening a bag of chips and poke the end in and push it through the opening with your finger or the end of a pen. Be careful not to poke through the felt though or you will have a tear!

After you've turned it inside out it's time to stuff it! Take the stuffing and poke it through the opening until the tail is puffy and suits you!

This next step might sound a bit tricky. Now that you have finished the tail you need to attach it to the back. Take two pieces of the back and put them straight edges together. Slip the tail in between the two pieces with the open end facing the straight edge, and sew the pieces together. Make sure the edges are even

Sew the entire straight edge making sure you catch the tail inside! And when you are finished it should look like this:

Now sew the straight edge of the other two back pieces together. This will make the front of the body.
Moving onto the arms! You have 8 pieces for this step you will need four of them to attach your "claws" to. Take three of your claws and lay them out on one piece of your arm/leg. Put them on the straight larger end.

and sew them onto the arm piece. Do the same on three more pieces and you should use all of your claws with enough room. If they don't fit then trim them, it doesn't have to be perfect that's what makes it original!!!
After you've sewn your claws on (which makes it easier than trying to sew them in as you go) it's time to sew the rest of the arm together.

Put the second arm piece on top of the side with the claws showing, this way when you flip it inside out the claws will stick out!
Sew around three sides leaving an opening for stuffing and flipping the piece

Then you need to flip it inside out. Easiest way to do this is the same way as you did the tail, like a chip packet and poke it through the opening with your finger or something else that wont rip your felt

after you've done that flatten it out and make sure none of your seams have missed spots and then stuff it through the opening you left.

and then do the same with the other three arm/legs

Now we will get the face done! We're slowly getting there… We will start with the eye.
You will need your yellow and green felt pieces for this part.

Position the green pupil where you'd like it to be and then sew it to the yellow piece And now your eye is finished! Now you need to put it on the head. Take one half of the head and position the eye in your desired location

then sew it on!

and sew it on. Now place your little pink nose on right under your eye, and sew it on.

leave a small space and put on your red mouth. Try and line up the center point with the seam that way you know the mouth is centered on the face!

Now put on your teeth. These may be hard to sew so if you have the time you can sew them on, although that will make the next step a little harder to sew.

After you have sewn or glued your teeth on it is time for the last step in the face part. The cheeks! Place the black felt cheeks so that it partially covers the red mouth and white teeth, but also so it touches the nose. Then sew it on!

One more final step for this section and that is attaching the ears. The will be a lot easier to attach now than to try and attach them as you are sewing the front and back together.

try and place them an even distance away from the center seam on the face, pin them in place and then sew them on. Do the same for both ears and you should get a piece which looks like this:

Now we move on to assembling the plushie together. This is where it gets harder and you may need an extra pair of hands. First we will start with the back. Take the back of the head and the part of the body with the tail and place them right sides together (which means that the seams are facing outside)

Make sure to line up your seams so everything will look even. After you have sewn the head back to the body back you should end up with something like this:

Now do the same with the front. Attach the head front and the body front together making sure the seams are lined up and that your seams are facing out.

Now we come to a hard part attaching the arms and legs. Attach the arms right under the seam for the head and body and the legs at the bottom of the body near the rounded corners.

sew them into place and you should end up with something that looks like this:

Now we get to the hardest part of all sewing the front and back together. Place both sides together with the seams facing out. It will be hard to get them all together but you can do it as you go along.

It took me about 2 hours to figure out a way to actually sew it together properly and I needed help from my mom to figure out the best way to do so but I figured it out in the end and got it done!

Sew around the edges leaving enough space open to flip it inside out and stuff it. This will be the hard part because the arms and legs make it awkward to flip. I had to pull out one leg and the tail through the opening before I finished sewing to make room. If you need to do this that is perfectly fine!

It might not look like much now but wait until you see it finished! Carefully flip everything inside out so your arms and legs, tail and face are all on the outside. You're felt may stretch a bit but that is ok you will fix it when you stuff it.

Now turn it upside down and stuff until your hearts content!

And sew up the bottom when you're finished.

Once every thing is stitched up squash it around a bit to get all the stuffing in the little spots you may have missed. And Viola!! You have your very own Blue Meowclops Plushie!!!
