Family

Although they may not be family by blood, they are by heart. You may not like your family, but you have to love them!

Lyle95602
This is my older brother, Lyle. But I'm not so sure what to say about him. He is just your average mutant Lupe, content, not special in any way, really. He's a great guy, but a little lonely.
Aleu95602
Ah, my sister, Aleu. She's always so....depressed. Well, actually she's seemed to change lately. She won't let me get close to her anymore, although I don't quite know why…
Shadow5597
My now ex brother (last I saw him); Shadow...The last time I saw Shadow he was a Spotted Kacheek. But I'll miss him, even if he was a bit of a bully to me. But, family is family, and you have to love your family! I just hope that is i_love_cats2219 taking good care of him now.

hephestian268Oh, how could I forget my newest brother? His name is hephestian268, but he wants me to call him Selbstmord or Mord for short. He's so weird. He's off adventuring with a she-lupe named Arora. He told me they love each other, oh, an emotion I will probably never experience. Oh well. He's wolfforce's current lab victim...so I can't keep a picture up until she gets what she wants of him from the ray.

THE BEGINING

When I was born I was the runt of the litter. I was always the one pushed out of the way or ignored. I also was the rather ugly pup, with the worst coloring on my fur coat imaginable; as though a two year old scribbled all over me. But one day it all changed...All I remember is that I was trying to pounce on a butterfly when I heard a strange voice talk to me. It was raspy and a bit scary, but I decided to see what it wanted. "Would you like to be bigger young pup? Would you like to be more powerful than even your own parents?" it asked me, sending shivers up my spine.

Why, yes, that is my greatest dream come true!" I instantly said before thinking about what may happen.
Well then...Just look straight into my eyes." It replied in a happier tone.

But, I can't see y-" then a great shadow formed before me. I looked at it and backed up a little. It felt wrong and evil in some way.
Don't be scared young one. I thought you wanted to be powerful. Powerful Lupes don't back down from mere shadows!" It said mockingly. And with that I looked up at it. Its eyes were a burning red, like the fiery depths of hell. I kept looking up at it, scared stiff. Then everything just became blurry. I heard my parents screaming at me and pain filled yelps. I smelt blood. I knew something was wrong, but I couldn't do anything, I was powerless. Then my vision slowly came back. I had fallen to the ground when my eyes blurred. I sat up, but I felt different. "Mom?.....Dad?....Anyone?....I don't feel good Mama...Please help me...Where did everyone go?

But there was no one around to hear my cry. I looked at the surrounding area now and saw a terrifying sight. It was Daya, my only sister, lying down, her fine white fur drenched in her own blood. And worse, around my muzzle I could taste her blood. I don't know how it happened, but I killed her, and I didn't even remember how or why.

Instantly once I saw the gruesome sight I ran, ran as fast and as far away as my legs would let me go. When I came to a stop I was in a clearing. There was a puddle there from the rain that came down a few days earlier. I looked down to get a drink. When I saw my reflection it wasn't me at all.

My fur color had gone from a brownish yellow mixture to red. I had demonic wings sprouting out of my back. A spiked collar hung from my neck, chains hanging off of it. And to top it all off my eyes turned from blue to grey while my legs and tail obtained a new look too. I was shocked. This was all terrible! Then I heard the voice...That terrible voice.. "Aren't we looking better today? Don't you like being big and strong? It's just a pity we had to make a small sacrifice." It said.
I sat there for a moment, thinking about what it did to my sister. "No, I hate it! Change me back! Give me back my sister!" I whined to the creature. It began laughing at me and my tears. "Oh, it's too late, we made a deal."..."Deal? What deal??" I asked demanding the truth. "The moment you looked into my eyes you agreed to let me share your soul" It replied in its menacing voice. "Wait! You said nothing about a deal!!" But the voice was done speaking with me. I just had to live with what I had done and deal with my new form....

LATER LIFE

As I grew I figured out how to do basic things like hunt and stay out of trouble, I even figured out how to use my wings. I never really heard anything from that voice after the day I met it, but maybe that was a good thing. I would wander from pack to pack, sometimes trying to cause as much chaos as possible, other times trying to be an actual member; but they would run me off their territory soon after I joined the pack. I think it was because of how I looked, but it could have been something deeper.

When I later became a fine young adult, in my prime, I heard the voice talk to me. "Would you like to be a hero?" it said, as disturbing as I had remembered it.
No, I know better than to trust you, you killed my sister and made me a monster!" I yelled, looking around to see if the shadowy figure would leave my body.
Oh, but this is different, it's a pleasant surprise, especially since you mentioned your sister." It said, calmly, yet slyly.
What did you do?" I asked, or rather demanded.
Oh, I did nothing, but she's in a tight spot right now, and seeing how you killed her-"
ME?! I had nothing to do with her death!" I interrupted, trying to set things straight with the beast.
But it continued on as though I said nothing, "I thought you might want to save her, to make things up sort of speak. You know you want to help her.
It's probably another trick. I don't believe you. Besides, how could she be in trouble? She's an angel now." I countered, starting to walk off to get some water.
LISTEN, YOU WILL GO, OR I'LL MAKE YOU!" The voice roared, more demanding and angry than I had ever heard it. And with that I suddenly lost complete control of my body. I started running wildly through the trees, barely able to keep my eyes open due to the intense speed. Before I knew it I was up in the air, higher than I had ever been. "And now, you will see!" The voice said, quieter now, but still devious and a bit angry. My wings folded in and I began to plunge towards the ground. "What is your problem?" I managed to yelp before I hit the ground. All I saw was the ground getting closer then black darkness, and with a last painful moment all sense of reality was lost.

I slowly open my eyes again and looked around. "Wh-Where am I?" I asked as I gazed into the fiery dark.
Why, hell of course, did you think you would get into heaven? But your sister is near, you better go help her." The voice said in a smooth, calm, disturbing voice. I got up and shook myself. The air heavily smelt of death and suffering. The heat was intense; fire was everywhere the pitch black dark wasn't. But then I smelt an old, familiar smell. I followed the scent trail and my heart warmed as I found the trail's end. It was Daya, just like the voice said, but even though I was happy to see her I was nervous to go near her. She might have still been mad at me for what I did. But as I got closer I could see that she was in trouble after all.

She was completely covered in chains. I rushed over to her, and as I did I saw the fear grow in her eyes. I came over and, after a few attempts, bit through the chains covering her mouth. "Daya, are you alright? Did they hurt you at all? Why are you here anyway?" I immediately asked.
No! Please don't hurt me!" She replied, closing her eyes tight.
But Daya, it's me, Daemon, don't you remember?" I responded, confused by her words.
Oh, I remember, you killed me, you can't be Daemon! You're just another one of those demons coming to scare me!" She responded, still closing her eyes.
Daya, listen, it really is me. You're my only sister, why would I lie to you? Yes, it is true, I did kill you, but it's not my fault! I was possessed by an evil spirit that day, still am to this very moment, but believe me, I didn't want to do it, matter of fact I didn't even know what was happening. The spirit took over my body completely, you have to believe me! Please answer my quest-"
Oh just stop it!" she interrupted, "My brother was a sweet pup, he looked nothing like you! I bet you killed him too." her voice turned into tears. I nuzzled her, although she was hesitant.
Listen to me, I am your brother. I used to have nice brownish yellowish soft fur and blue eyes, and I would always help you when you needed it, and you would do the same. When I was possessed my exterior changed, but on the inside I am still the same. Please, let me get you out of here and back into heaven where you belong." I said as lovingly as I could. She was a bit confused, but she believed me now, I could tell by the look in her eyes.
Daemon, if that is you I must warn you of something very important!" she started as I was hacking away at her chains. "I'm being guarded by an evil Lupe; you need to be as quick as possible! If he catches you you'll never get out." She said as quickly as she could. I got the last bit of chain off and nuzzled her again, surprised that she did the same back. Then she spread her beautiful white wings. She glowed a bright white and sparkled brilliantly. She flapped her great wings once and was up in the air. "But will you be able to get out ok, Daemon?" she asked, still gaining altitude. "I will miss you a lot brother. Please, be safe."
I'll miss you too, Daya, I hope I can see you again." I replied just as she was about to turn away. Then she just disappeared into a great white flash of light. Then things went back to being dark. I looked around for a short while, trying to see if there was an easy exit out. But, of course, there was no way I could get out so easily. I sat down for a moment when I heard the voice again, but this time it sounded worried as it quickly exclaimed "Look out!" I turned around, but was a split second too late. I crashed to the ground with great force. Something hit me, I couldn't see what it was, but it felt powerful. I jumped back up as quickly as I had fallen, for I knew that a fallen foe was a defenseless one. This thing wanted a fight, and I was ready as ever to give it one.
I lunged blindly into the dark, but was instantly jerked back. I looked behind me and saw a chain confining me. I had been captured, but I was luckier than my sister, for I only had one chain acting like a leash, connecting at my collar. I lunged out again and fought wildly to get free. But the chain was too strong, but I still strained against it. This game would obviously not be played fairly. "Why don't you fight fairly? Are you that much of a coward!?" I growled, still lunging.

There was a few minutes of silence, besides the sound of the chain becoming taunt and loose, but soon there was a response. The chain disappeared which sent my crashing to the ground, face first. I shook my head and looked around. "Show yourself." I demanded. Then out of one of the various shadows a great Lupe snuck out, soundlessly. His eyes beamed a bright red while his fur was of the deepest shade of black with a tint of a deep red mixed in. "Are you willing to face me?" It said in a deep tone.

Ready when you are." I responded, looking up at him. He towered over me and studied me for a moment, then finally and silently said "Then you better be ready for the most painful experience of your life!" We began circling each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. After a long while I decided to charge. I got up into the air and leapt at his throat, but to my dismay he was too quick and simply struck at my chest, bringing me back down to the ground.

I repeated this maneuver a few more times before thinking of a new strategy. This time I struck low, trying to get at his legs, but he simply dodged the hit. He was smart, he knew that if I could not hit him I could not win. We continued circling, then he made his move. With all of his might he charged, I flew up by instinct, forcing him to ram into a wall. I thought a move like that would have broken his neck, but I was wrong. He got up and eyed me. I could see the fury in his eyes and felt myself backing down on the inside. But on the outside I looked tough, ready for whatever he could possibly do to me. He charged again, but he faked going high so I ducked when he quickly aimed for my legs. He sent me hurdling backwards, tumbling over and over. While I was down he came at me again. He snapped ferociously at me, all I could do was lay there helplessly. The great Lupe knew that this was probably the only time he could beat me like this, and he took every advantage of it. After a while the pain just left me, as though I was just watching myself as someone else. But as the pain left I took the risk. I used every ounce of muscle I had in me to project myself forward at him, and my plan worked, for now I was the one looking down at him. Now it was my turn, and I wasted no time. I began biting at his neck, trying to get at his jugular. After a while I could taste his warm blood, my muzzle simply covered in it. I looked at his face and saw his eyes become distant in them selves. He gasped greatly, struggling to breath. I backed off in respect for the dying creature. For my enemy I let out a howl, a victorious howl with sadness mixed in. I stared down at him as his eyes became glazed over and his body had its last convolutions. This time I had been lucky, but there was still one little problem, I didn't know how to get out.

I looked around once more, and saw another shadowy figure creeping around the area. I paused and watched it, making sure it wasn't going to cause any trouble. It slowly approached me, cautiously, but I still kept my guard up. I sniffed the air. It was a she. As she got closer I could see her details. She was a grey Lupe, with a demonic wing and an angelic wing, she had a scar over her eye like me, and had three slash marks over her left shoulder. Her demonic wing and left legs had the same flame like pattern my legs had. She also had two black earrings in her left ear along with a spiked bracelet on her front left paw, and a golden ring on her front right paw. And to top it all off she wore a blue necklace of a wolf head with wings on either side of it. She was low to the ground when she approached me. "I saw what you did to Etipeir, and I thank you for it."
Etipeir?" I echoed, "Was that his name?
Yes, it was, and it's good to have him gone. He over ruled us all. Is there any way I may repay you?" She asked, looking at me, smiling. I looked into her eyes for a moment, startled to see that they were completely void of color.
Well, do you know how to get out of here?" I asked shyly.
Why, of course I do, now that Etipeir is out of the way! Here, stand close or it won't work." She said with delight. So I scooted closer to her and in a flash of light, similar to my sister's, we were back to the spot where I had fallen. I saw my dead body and looked at it, horrified. "Am I still…..dead?" I asked looking over at her, then back to my stiff body.
No, that is just your old body, it's like you have been reborn again, but you still look like your old self. Remember, if you die again you can leave. Just think really hard! I know you can do it, I sense some demon in you." she quietly said as she started walking off. I nudged my old body and then followed after her. "Say, you wouldn't mind me sticking around with you, would you?" I asked. "Why, no, I wouldn't mind at all. Maybe I could teach you some tricks. Oh, and also so you know, I'm Shuukakusha." She replied. And so we trotted off together, and she did teach me new things. She taught me how to bring up "zombies", although I liked to call them the "undead warriors" (which is basically the same thing) and she also taught me some new aerial moves. And that brings me up to today, Shuukakusha is still teaching me cool tricks. I still don't hear much from the voice of the demon trapped inside me, but now I have accepted myself for who I am. Corny ending, huh?
