Updates
6/12/09 - I've been adding to the Garden Center guide, I've deleted The Basics section (there's just no point when there are a ton of other restock guides that cover the same material), and am building on my new bakery guide. Still need to fix the book shop guide.

6/2/09 - Working on a new guide for the Bakery! Yay! Also, please ignore the book shop guide. It's pretty out of date. I will be revamping it within the next few days.
5/28/09 - I took down the fine furniture and garden centre sections because I'm not really sure where the market is going with those, given the new neohome system. I may repost new ones but odds are slim. I've checked a majority of the material on here and I'm pretty confident with it, but please use this guide at your own discretion.
2/9/08 - Did a little bit of cleaning up. Because of Tarla, a lot of the items are in danger of deflation. Restockers beware!
1/17/08 - I've started the Book shop. The What To Buy section is up if you'd like to check it out (it's at the bottom). Still tinkering with the Unbuyables section.
1/14/08 - Upon recommendation, I've made it so that all the shopkeepers are now links to their respective shops. Some other housekeeping updates have also been done. The RS basic tutorial is coming along nicely, but I'm considering moving it to another page.

Introduction
Welcome to Nutty's Ultimate Restock Guide! I, Nutty, am the creator of this most magnificent guide and am so happy to be able to share my wealth of knowledge with you.

Have you ever been in this situation:

You're in a Neopets shop you're not quite familiar with, trying to restock. You've been refreshing for what seems like forever! Suddenly, you refresh, and the shop is filled with goods! There are so many things to pick from you're not quite sure. Hesitating, you click a random item. Before you enter in an amount and click the little pet to finish the transaction, you stop and wonder, "Wait a minute, am I really gonna be able to turn a profit on this?" No time to think, it's a buyers market baby! BUY BUY BUY! You click as fast as you can. Alas, it wasn't fast enough! You see your pet crying it's eyes out when you realize the item you wanted has sold out!

Well, no more! This guide is divided into many sections, each dedicated to one shop. For each shop, there are two sets of items, a "What to buy" set and a "What NOT to buy" set. The pictures and names of items are displayed, helping you detect profitable items quicker and stay away from the stinkers. Also, there are special notes about the shop at the end of each "What NOT to Buy" section, with general tips on what's hot and what's not in each shop.

This guide works off the idea that people learn better by seeing things than by reading things, hence the pictures. If you see a picture here, you'll more likely remember it while you're restocking than in any other way.

Special Notes

• 99.9999% of items priced at exactly 2,500np are BAD BUYS. I have listed all the exceptions I know of in the What to buy section. Otherwise, avoid these items!
• Be on the look out for avatar items and it wouldn't hurt to try to keep up with the latest avatar releases (since food is especially linked to this).
• Avoid plain ice cream, except for the chocolate one (NOT IN A WAFFLE CONE, IN A REGULAR CONE!)
• Almost anything with the word negg in it is profitable, except for Jhudora's Rotten Negg, Melted Chocolate Negg, Neggy Custard Pie and Plain Negg Neggnog
• My overall rule of of thumb is anything that restocks in 1-3 that costs 500-5000np and is NOT exactly 2500 and 5000np is PROBABLY going to turn a good profit. This isn't ALWAYS the case though, so be careful.
• Beware of fruits and vegetables that exist in real life. Those usually aren't good. The exception to this includes pomegranates.
• I've yet to see a neocola or milkshake (of any kind) that was a good buy. Achyfii is hit or miss.

Special Notes

• Dark Chocolate, Orange Chocolate and Mint Chocolate Items are usually worth buying. There ARE exceptions though.
• Items priced at 2,500 are hit or miss. Study the guide and take a risk is my recommendation.
• BUY ANYTHING AT 5000! Not only will it get you the avvy, but it's also probably VERY valuable.
• Go for advent calendars and neggs (except for melted chocolate negg).
