Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to infiltrate and gather intelligence on the entity code named "Nova Sponge Cakes." You will have no outside aid, save for various petpets armed with colourful pillows. Should any part of your mission be compromised, and you are taken hostage by this "NSC," you may find yourself in grave danger of laughing hysterically or engaging in prolonged periods of intense "fun," as well as befriending highly bizarre and dangerously awesome individuals. The risk is high, but we are counting on you, agent. This message will self-destruct in five seconds.

Anyway, NSC is a private, literate, neo-related guild. We focus on being a family - a tight-knit, welcoming group that values personality over proportions. We rely on each other for support, advice, friendship, and hilarity, but most of all we love each other's company!

We're a chat-based guild, so we place strong emphasis on fostering close, long-lasting bonds between our members. We believe members make up the core of a guild, so everything is focused on YOU. :) What sets us apart is how much we value one another - and how much epic fun we have along the way. ;D



Establishment. The original guild has been established since July 2007 - over two years. This has granted us a huge level of experience dealing with everything guildly under the sun, not to mention given us a strong reputation for quality. :)

FUN. Little known secret: all of our members are intensely trained in the highly specialized art known as AWESOMENESS. There really isn't much more explanation needed. We're like ninjas. What do we drink? WA-TAHH!

Respect. You will never be "just another member." NSC strongly believes that every member has a voice in the guild - you will always be treated with respect and dignity! We value everything you say, so be loud and proud. :D

Activeness. We try to provide a guild in which you'll always have someone to talk to on the message board! ^_^ NSC averages over 1000 messages a day, and that's with our medium size! This ensures an extremely active yet cozy guild. :)

Closeness. Nova Sponge Cakes values close-knit friendships above all else! We strive to create an environment in which every single member is a valuable part of our family. Try and escape if you will, but rest assured - you WILL find yourself enveloped in a warm and open community. -cue evil laughter-

Quality. Everything we do is tailored to provide the best possible experience for our members, whether in the form of guild layouts, webbie design, news and information, or activities and events. Our emphasis on these standards of quality mean you won't be getting anything less than an amazing guild experience! ^_^

A home. Face it, we're corny - but for good reason. ;D If Neopets is a place to escape reality, then NSC is where you create your own. You'll always find a welcoming environment in which you can relax and laugh all your cares away with the people you love. Hand me a tissue, that's just too awesome.

We enforce literacy and activeness. Don't worry, we're not dictators - you don't have to post 24/7 with a thesaurus in hand! But to uphold our active, close-knit community, we sweep inactive members regularly and enforce our high standards of literacy. Who wants a guild clogged with an unrecognizable member list or an illegible message board? Not I, said the awesome guild member.

Member limits are win. In order to maintain our close-knit atmosphere, we limit our member count to 75, lest our brains explode trying to keep up with everyone! Not only are we able to get to know each other more fully, but the boards run at an awesomely lively pace. :)

We do it YOUR way. Every single aspect of the guild revolves around YOU! A guild is absolutely nothing without its members, of course. :) We value your opinions enormously; you do have the power to make a huge impact in the guild! Seriously, your input is worth its weight in gold. Figuratively, we guess, or we'd all be rich and could afford someone to write this who has a sane sense of humor.

NSC is a highly selective guild, but don't let that intimidate you! Here are a few quick tips, though the rest is up to you. Let your own personality shine through - don't try to give us what you think we want, just be yourself! Also, please keep in mind that you must be fully literate, so please show us that in your app. ;D
