My name is Niku. I'm supposedly special.

My unique abilities apparently were the reason that I was told to hide at least 15 minutes before the rest of my clan was. But do I have any idea what they were talking about when they told me this? Absolutely not! I mean, if I'm that special, why can't someone just tell me what it is that I can do, instead of leaving me here, alone, wondering?

Oh yes... I said alone. When I was told to hide, they did not tell me when it was safe to come out, so I only emerged about two days later. By then, my entire clan had disappeared. They were gone. If you had not been a creature such as myself, you would have never guessed someone used to live here.

So, where had they gone, you may ask? I don't know. I have absolutely no idea, because as it seems, they just left me here. Alone. All by myself.

And believe me, I've been searching for a couple years now. If there was any remains of them, I would have found them by now. Creatures like me can only live on the land, right? I've searched the entire islands, every single one of them, at least a couple hundred times. I've never dared search the lagoons or oceans surrounding, just because I was always taught to never get in the water. It's dangerous, and contact with water in this way apparently makes us dissolve.

But you know what? They told me that if I waited for them, they would come back. Why should I believe what they say about the water if they couldn't even bother to tell me the truth? Plus, it's not like I have anything to do in my spare time anyway, other than search for my people.

Ok, that settles it. I'm going down to the lagoon tomorrow, even if the water is 'dangerous'. Feel free to join me.

Not much can be said about the Sea cat, because it is believed to have been made up as a prank. Based on Neopians accounts of "eye witnesses", the sea cats are believed to look very similar to that of a maraquan aisha, but with some slight differences. These sea cats are believed to harness some sort of natural magic, giving these sea cats powers to make things grow, destroy unnatural things, or even turn invisible. But even as scary as this may seem, these powers are very weak when used by a single sea cat.

Niku, on the other hand, appears to be a different case. Unlike the rest of her kind, she acts very arrogant and egoistical, caring more for herself than of her surroundings. Unlike running and hiding like a "normal" sea cat, she will clearly expose herself in the open to show off her skills to paying tourists. Her magic abilities are actually very powerful, equal to that of 10 regular sea cats.

... Not like any of this matters, though, because she doesn't exist.
