Neofriends- You can select different Neopets users to be your Neofriends. To do this, go to their user lookup and hit "Neofriend." This will send a request to that user, which they can decline or accept.

Neomail- You can send messages to other users via Neomai. This is very similar to email. You have to be over 13 years of age or have a parental consent form turned in to use Neomail. To block users that are spamming you, click here.

There are six different types of maps on Neopets. Each contain nine pieces; and offer rewards once completed. The six maps are: Secret Laboratory Map, Petpet Laboratory Map, Treasure Map, Space Map, Underwater Map, and the Spooky Map.

• Secret Laboratory Map- This costs around 600,000np to complete. Once completed, you can visit the Lab Ray once a day to get your pets zapped. The outcome can be good or bad; it's random.
• Petpet Laboratory Map- This costs around 7,500np to complete. Once you've completed it and the Secret Laboratory Map, your petpets can visit the Petpet Lab.
• Treasure Map- This costs around 45,000np (?) to complete. The reward is 10,000np and some rare items.
• Space Map- This costs around 55,000np (?) to compete. Once finished, the reward is 10,000np and some rare items.
• Underwater Map- This costs around 900,000 (?) to complete. The reward is 10,000np and some rare food items from underwater.
• Spooky Map- This costs around 54,000np to complete. The prize is 10,000np and some spooky food.

The NeoBoards are different boards; each has a specific purpose. Select a board that you wish to go to, then select a topic to view. You can reply to posts by hitting "reply" then typing your message. You can set preferences for the NeoBoards, like your avatar image, title, signature, and more. When you go around the site, you can collect more avatars from different pages. To start a new topic, hit "New Topic" at the top. Set the title

The Battledome is a part of Neopets where pets fight other pets or online enemies. To be successful in the Battledome, you should put your pets through training. There are three different training schools:

1. The Academy at Krawk Island- Pay with Dubloons (pretty cheap), but it takes a while. If your pet is over level 40, you can't go to the Academy anymore.
2. The Training School at Mystery Island- Pay with Codestones (sort of expensive), but it's pretty quick. The Training School is for pets level 250 and under.
3. Secret Ninja Training School- Enter in this school by collecting Codestones and turning them into a Red Codestone at Techo Mtn. Once you have a Red Codestone, click on the door on the volcano to enter.

Having your pets fight in the Battledome can be expensive, but it is a great hobby on Neopets. Battledome accessories are very important; Battledome defense can be purchased here and Battledome magic can be purchased here. Tip: make sure the price in one of those shops is less then the Shop Wizard's!

Screenies are images of what you see on-screen, usually with text added to them. There are several steps to making a screenie. Here, I show how it's done on a PC.

First, go to the page you want to take a screenie of. Then, hit the "Print Screen" button on the keyboard. Open up Paint, then hit hit Edit - Paste. You should make the image smaller, too. Add text by hitting the "A." Then, save your file as a GIF or JPEG and find a server to host it. Finally, put it into your page!

The world of Neopia is a fun one indeed, but there are a handful of bad people out there. It is important to recognize what isn't safe, might it be scams, bad links, or other dangerous things. Here are some tips to keep you safe:

1. NEVER, I repeat NEVER, give your account information to someone else. If someone asks you for your account info, don't just say no; say no AND report it to TNT here.
2. Do not give out any personal information! This includes your last name, your phone, home address, or anything of the sort. Make sure you haven't posted any of this on your lookup, shop, or the NeoBoards.
3. Please don't fall for any of the "free neopoints" or "item multiplier" scams; they're pretty pathetic. Any site, user, IM or email asking for your account info that'll make it possible form that person to get into your account is scamming you and they should be reported.
