Thank you for your interest and welcome to the Alliance Malls! Coupled with very bad humour (read: cheesy), we are founded on the concept of teamwork. We believe that malling can only be successful through a mutual relationship that works both ways. In fact, we are the first to implement double link. Spots marked with [ALL] mean it will be linked from two malls. This ensures higher traffic to some of the traditionally weaker spots. At the same time, a conflict of interest situation is avoided by placing each mall in their dedicated huts. This means, when someone is top of your hut, that someone is from your own mall, linking to you.
We also don't believe in ridiculous rules that many other malls enforce. (besides mall banner first and no random upgrades) and as such, we tossed them all out. Got restocks to sell? SDBs to unload? Go ahead. We don't really care.
Our Malls
Our malls are headed by three separate leaderships, allowing us to combine strategy and tactics whether it be hut positioning or tweaking our graphics.We constantly monitor member performance and continue to update banners, spot descriptions if we think performance will improve.
Knowledge of hut positioning is not required. However, you should be willing to move around (upon request) to other marketplaces to aid in hut positoning efforts. Whenever possible, we will attempt to distribute this load among our members, depending on availability. Generally speaking, new members need not worry about huts as it is done by our veterans.
From time to time, you may also receive some input from us. As always, please do not hesitate to mail me (or the other members within the mall) if you have any questions,concerns, etc. Many of our members are veterans and have considerable knowledge and experience.
Graphic Design
We realize graphic design plays an extremely important role in mall performance and thus have spent a considerable amount of time designing each piece carefully. They are unique to each mall, exhibit its own personality and adheres to different tastes.
Graphics quality is one thing, but it's no good if it takes forever to load. Our graphics are created using a combination of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Fireworks.The end result? . The main xmart banner using traditional methods saves at 760 kB but after a few tweaks, this size is just 207 kB!
Optional Upgrades
We realize that mall sales have gone down. You can rest assured that we will not ask you to upgrade to a new hut.
