The Neoboard Preferences
The above screenie shows what the pens will look like at the top when you go to your neoboard preferences. In this screenie I have my pen called BGC selected.
This one shows most of the rest of the neoboard preferences page.
As the screenie here shows, the preference set added by a neoboard pen allows you to name the pen, set your neoboard title, choose an avatar, and enter neoHTML and a neosignature, just like you normally do when you go to your neoboard preferences.
There are two more options available not show in the screenie on the neoboard pen preference page. They hare show/hide font effects and show/hide neosignatures. However my own testing has shown that setting these too hide and posting with a neoboard pen doesn't seem to do anything. Seems these two are governed by what your default preferences have it set to.
Other Effects
Having a single neoboard pen will up your posting character limit to 500 characters, as well as upping your neoHTML and signature to hold 150 characters each. Adding more neoboard pens will not increase your posting limit, nor will it give you more room for your neoHTML and signature, for obvious reasons.
Posting Information
The above screenie shows what it looks like when you are going to post after you have added at least one neoboard pen. The untitled neoboard pens are just pens that have not been given names yet. The neoboard pens also show up in guilds.
Buying a pen
Each neoboard pen costs 300 neocash. This is what they look like in the NC mall.
Neoboard pens can be found in the NC mall, go to the special menu, then select limited edition category to find them.
