Neikyu's background
Neikyu grew up in a small village in central Neopia that was entirely populated by elephantes. Neikyu's parents, friends, siblings, tecahers and classmates were all elephantes. There are two things that all elephantes love, sleep and peanuts. Between long naps the residents of the village celebrated the bounty of peanuts in the village.
Neikyu loved the napping and the parties but he wasn't so keen on peanuts, infact he detested them. One evening whilst the other elephantes gorged themselves on thousands of peanuts Neikyu smelt a rich aroma in the air. He lifted his tiny trunk and inhaled sharply, the delightful smell filling his trunk. He looked to check the other elephantes were busy and sneaked away, following the aroma.
Ten minutes passed and Neikyu found himself outside a cobbled street. The buildings were all red brick with straw roofs and dainty flowerbeds. He walked along the street not looking at the beautiful buildings but at the strange creatures he saw around him. Small flying creatures with beautiful songs and feathers, two legged balls of fluff with huge eyes bouncing along and glamourous fluffy creatures with big bows around their necks.
Neikyu gasped as he found the source of the smell that had led him so far from his homeland. A building with a sign hanging off reading 'Betty's baking' lay before him. He ran up and looked inside the window to see rows of crusty bread, sticky buns and crunchy biscuits. He wandered in the shop, a small bell ringing as he entered. Neikyu was greeted by a brown sweet smelling creature with wings holding a tray of cookies. 
Neikyu curiously extended his trunk and reached out for the steaming cookies. He nervously placed one in his mouth and chewed. Immeditely he tasted something like he'd never tasted before, much better than peanuts. He gobbled up the rest of the plate in a matter of seconds. The shopowner smiled at the young neopet's enthusiasm. It was that day Neikyu's life changed forever.
Months passed and the elephante village was a very different place. There was still napping, partying and peanuts galore but with one difference, a small shop on the corner. The shop had the words 'Neikyu's nibbles' hung above the door. Inside a small blue baby elephante peeped over rows of sweet baked goods, a small apron and chefs hat on. 'Welcome to Neikyu's nibbles' he exclaimed hapily'.
