The Prince, the Warrior and the Beast

The Prince

Tri is the heir to the throne. However his role as a brilliant, but blood thirsty General often overshadows his role as a Prince.
At a young age Tri only sought to please his father. He is not only skilled in body, but also in mind. However, no matter what he do, his father keeps his distance away from Tri. Little did Tri know, the King only do so to keep him safe from the Queen. Who is not Tri's birth mother. But the King's outward rejection made Tri a bitter young man.

During what little time Tri spent in the castle, he appears to be elegant and cold. Nobody dares speak to him because they are afraid of his wraith. What little compassion Tri had has been eroded away by the silence that cloaks him.

Tri is not only the next in line to the throne. He is also a General. He lead two third of the Shenkuu army. The remaining one third belongs to his younger brother. Tri fought in many great battles, and lost none of them. With him, the land of Shenkuu grows.
One would think Tri's success would place him in favour with his father. Many believes the royal family only see Tri as a weapon, one that is powerful but not so easily controlled. They see him as a threat. Thus Tri was often sent to the front lines, away from the Royal Castles of Shenkuu.

During Tri's time on the frontline, he saved a white xweet (which is Peach in neopet form) and it became his companion. However Peach disappeared suddenly a year. This causes Tri to grow even moodier.

War is the only thing that kept Tri's mind busy and away from the thought of his family. Blood is the only meaning of his life. There is nothing else for him to hold on to.

The Beast

Peach's servant, he cleans, cook and keeps the bad guys away.

After countless battles, Tri became too dangerous, to himself and to his Kingdom. His younger brother persuaded the King to allow Tri to live in the castle (and eventually take over the crown), away from the battle field under the condition that he surrender his troops. However his brother lied to the King. Using the blood that stains Tri's soul, the younger Prince places Tri under a curse. The curse transformed Tri into a monster and cursed him to live eternally. The younger Prince then slaughtered majority of Tri's followers. What little bits of sanity in Tri disappeared. He was locked away deep underneath the castle. The Kind died of grief, and the younger Prince succeed the throne. After years past, everyone has forgotten about the monster beneath the castle. Tri became a thing of myth. His glorious battles are only whispered among the descendents of the few soldiers who survived.

This all change when Peach discovered Tri and freed him beneath the castle. And now Tri and Peach lives together deep in the floating mountains of Shenkuu.

NNTM stands for Neopia Next Top Model

It is a user run fashion contest where artist draw their pets in different cloth and setting. It is modeled after ANTM. NNTM is now known as NMU or Shine, which can be found on the BC board C:

Critique:

Hi Zhu! We were sad to see Tri go, since he was an early favorite, but we noticed that you'd been really rushing your last few entries, and this was no exception. Although we liked the setting, we weren't entirely sure how it was relevant. We could see color similarities between the outfit and the camo jetsam, but it wasn't a clear enough correlation for us, since it really just looked like a suit with some colored edging. Overall we just wanted to see more time put into it. (Real life is busy, we're all aware, and if you don't have time to put into NNTM it's probably for the best anyway.

But Tri will be back next cycle, hopefully ^^

Ancient Tales of Shenkuu

The move is based on a book. The book is based on the true story of a relationship which span over several lifetimes. What is their story? Their meeting was a tragedy, their story was a mistake, but what of their ending? One tale after the next, you will discover the stories between two unlikely protagonist which last not only one lifetime, but seven. Due to the controversy surrounding the topic, little to no text is shown. A picture tells a thousands words. What about a movie?
