Fee Fi Fo Fum!"

High pitched giggles interrupted the odd war cry and the skeith paused midstep, head tilted contemplatively.

I know you two are in here," Niet groused, the twinkle of mischief in his eyes belying the unhappy tone of his voice. The giggles turned bashful and the skeith listened to the pair's stage whispering, grinning broadly.

We're hiding," came the final, timid (and rather obvious) reply.

Hiding, eh?" Niet mused. "Well, you know we dragons hate playing games..."

The girlish voices echoed disappointment. Niet's grin turned wicked. "Poor little girlies. Who will save them from the big bad beastie?" He made a great show of overturning a bean bag in search of them, grumbling all the while. "These kids, puh, they think they can do as they please." He peered under a table and tutted when they weren't there. "But dragons eat girlies for breakfast, bwahahahaha."

The girls squealed in delight as Niet snagged a purple foot and tugged a grape chia from her hiding place.

Ohhh yes, you'll make a very nice fruit salad, you will. My tummy's rumbling just thinking about it."

Nooooo!" shrieked the grape amidst her giggling. "Don't eat me, Niet!"

I'll save you!" cried her twin. A tiny pea burst from her own hiding place and landed on Niet's back. The skeith roared as he was tickled, forced to release Vashi as he fought off the pea.

Argh!" he yelled, still grinning. "Get off, get off!" He was soon on his back, tail and limbs waving haphazardly as the pair tickled him.

Do you yield, Dragon?" Puff demanded with a broad grin.

Niet, laughing helplessly, blurted out a "Yeeeeeeeeeeesssss!"

Vashi giggled and applauded. "Yay! All hail Puff, the Dragon Slayer!"

Ordinarily I wouldn't bother with recommendations but because all my accounts were recently frozen (I got one back, thankfully, but the rest are still encased in ice), I wanted you to know that I am as trustworthy as I say I am, but I have no real way of proving that. Therefore, I decided to ask people who know me well to write recommendations in the hope that their opinions can back me up. ^__^

Emma is a great person, and I've known her for a long enough time to see that she'd be the ideal owner for ANY pet. She's been frozen unfairly - it's a common excuse, but in Emma's case it's actually true. She'd never do anything to jeopardize her pets or account, and was devastated when she was iced.

Emma is one of my very best friends here on Neopets. She is a wonderfull person with a generous and loving personality. Yes she has been frozen by TNT but that was absolutely unfair! Not only she but each and every one of us were totally horrified by that. But now on to Puff, I can guarantee that she will make the best owner for Puff. She treats all of her pets extremely well, cares for them in the best way possible. What more would any fosterparent ask for?!

Emma is indescribable. She is the friendliest person you'll ever meet. She's a dedicated foster parent to all of her great fosters and an even more dedicated owner. She has a screenname for her plushie skeith, Nietzchian, for heavens sakes! I have no idea what to write here, because if I were to write down all of Emma's good traits, you would be stuck reading for hours. All I can say is that I know she will be an awesome owner and you will never have to worry about the amount of love your foster will be getting if Emma is the owner.

I think Emma would be an amazing owner for MuffinPuff. Why? Well, a lot of Neopets players will tell you that they see their pets as more than just pixels. Not only will Emma tell you this, she takes it to the next level. She looks beyond the pixels and sees an inherent personality in every single Neopet. She takes excellent care of her permies and she loves them almost as much as people love their pets in real life. I don't know anyone who would be a more capable owner, and I would surely trust any of my own fosters into her care.

Emma is one of those really cool people who everyone know and love (and for good reason). She's got mad html and css skills, and has helped me on more than one occasion with my coding, and helping me work a few things out. Emma is not only one of those really awesome crazy good coders, but a really nice person to boot! (I bet you didn't see that coming, did you? ;o )

And now that Emma is applying for a cute little pea chia by the name of MuffinPuff, I thought that maybe I could do a little something to help, by writing up a reccomendation. Emma is an awesome person, and what she has said on her application about her being the totally coolest, awesomest person ever (which I'm sure she's managed to put in a few times. With her mad subtle... skills), she is correct in every aspect.

I know that Emma would make an amazing owner, due to her vast dedication to her pets, TNO (the guild I know her from), and neopets in general. I can safely say that MuffinPuff would be well taken care of, due to past experiences. She certainly doesn't stop fawning over Nietz (her plushie skeith) enough to mention how cool my pet Pyrennth is. We know he's rad ;o

Anyways, somewhere in that long winded babbly mess of words, I think I mentioned how amazing of an owner Emma would be, and you would not be disapointed if you adopted MuffinPuff out to her (:

Hello there. I'd like you to know that Freesong is a great person. She's an awesome friend and loves her pets a lot. She was recently unfairly frozen, which is so not cool for an awesome person like her. xP Luckily, TNT decided to be nice and give Freesong her trusted account back. We missed her for that short time, but now, I think everyone's glad she's back. So back to the point, Freesong is a trustworthy and loving person. Wow, actually Tammi says a lot. =DD And I'm not nearly as awesome as they made me sound, but I love them for trying. ^__^ The thing is, I got this application evaluated and the only thing she suggested was to tell you more about myself. I'm just not sure how to do that without sounding egotistical and boring you, but oh well. *bwahahaha*

I spend most of my time on Neopets and TNO, doing one thing or another. I'm disabled, you see, with a long-term illness that makes working extremely difficult, but gives me a lot of spare time. There's enough variety here on Neopets that I can do something even when my brain isn't working, or my hands are too painful to do much typing. My friends at TNO, and the jobs I have there (quite a few of them, now, hehe) have kept me going through some really dark patches and have kept my mind working when I might have otherwise become a lot more "duh"-ish than I am. =P

The Horse Ride by Skit

You'd think, at the age of 24, I'd have found something a little more... adult... to pass the time. But, beyond making cards and other arty things, everything I do is on the computer. And being ill has given me the wonderful opportunity to learn new skills I might never have chosen to learn otherwise, such as coding layouts (many friends have actually encouraged me recently to go into the web design business, but I can't get my head around the actual business side of it =P), making graphics, learning how to make pixel art and even, recently, learning how to draw at all. My friend Vicky spent an hour teaching me to use the pen tool this evening, just so I could draw the Swinging picture you'll see later, and fair enough, I'm no where near becoming Da Vinci or even my artist-idol, Joy, but I don't think I did too badly. I even sent it in to TNO's Beauty Contest for the July competition. ^__~

OK, so now I'm boring myself. At any rate, if you'd like to ask me anything about me, my pets, or, well, anything at all, I'll try and answer your questions. I want Puff to find the perfect home, even if it's not with us... though I really, really, really hope she does choose us! I mean, Niet wouldn't let just anyone bounce on him, or tickle him!

Puff's nickname, "the Magic Dragon Slayer", came out of two things. The invariably known song, Puff the Magic Dragon (which after researching said song for the lyrics that Celia rewrote for Puff's lookup, I realise is incredibly sad); and the story of the ticklish Niet. After a couple of people reading this application for me asked why she was Puff the Magic Dragon Slayer, I figured I should explain. I mean, I thought it was fairly obvious, but I'm kind of insane. XD

Vash and Puff discover Scribbleland by Hollie

Vashi was sad. Her mom had recently had to give up working at the Petpet Adoption Agency where Vashi had helped out, and that meant that she couldn't play with the petpets anymore. It had been wonderful, spending all day at the paddock making sure the petpets were fed and groomed, and being chased around by them. And while there were a few petpets at home that Vashi could play with, it wasn't the same. She'd loved the chaos of having so many petpets around all wanting attention.

Despondent, Vashi sat on the swing in the back yard and kicked her feet at the air slowly, watching a ladybug cross the patio in her shadow. As lovely as the day was, Vashi almost wished it would rain. Her mom always said the weather should reflect a person's mood, like in all the good cartoons. Instead, it was sunny enough that most of the family was around the corner of the house paddling in the pool Mom had bought just in time for the heatwave.

Puff hurtled around the corner and skidded to a halt at Vashi's feet, her face screwed up. "Why are you sad?"

Vashi blinked in surprise. Puff always knew when her twin was sad, it was eerie. "Because. I can't play with the petpets anymore."

It was the pea's turn to blink. Puff tilted her head thoughtfully. "Just because Mom doesn't work there anymore doesn't mean you can't hang out with Millie and the petpets. Does it?"

Revenge! by Hibiscus

Vashi opened her mouth to say that it did, then stopped, her mouth still open. Puff was right. Who was to say that she couldn't still volunteer at the PAA? Her mom knew how much she enjoyed working there, and would never do anything to upset her. That was the main reason Mom had started work at the PAA in the first place, so Vashi could be with the petpets she adored... and Mom hadn't said a thing about Vashi having to quit too...

Let's go ask," Puff decided, grabbing Vashi's hand and dragging her off the swing. In no time at all, they were standing in front of their mom in the library where she was sprawled across two bean bags listening to Rapsodine read a book about cooking. (Vashi doubted her mom was actually interested in the book itself, but she loved to listen to her family no matter what they were saying).

Hey girls, what's up?" Mom straightened a little as Raps put the book down and studied them warily.

Puff piped up. "Mom, Vashi's sad 'cause you left the PAA and she thinks she has to and I said that she didn't have to leave just because you did but she doesn't believe me, so could you tell her she doesn't have to leave and that she can still go play with Millie and the petpets?"

Girl Time by Suji

Mom blinked as Puff caught her breath, digesting the entire-paragraph-in-one-sentence. "Of course not, sweetie, in fact Millie was hoping you'd stay. They need all the help they can get, and the petpets do so much better with you to play with."

Puff leaped into the air and shrieked, "Yay!" Stunned, Vashi bounced with her as her sadness disappeared under a wave of happiness.

Now the weather did match her mood! ^-^

The breeze was balmy, ruffling through the grass that Peg was munching as Puff patted the Alabriss's neck, staring out over the glittering ocean. She loved this time of day, when the stars were out in full glory and the moon shone on the water, but the horizon was still purple as the sun sank. She loved to stand on this clifftop, where the grass was rich and Peg could eat her belly's fill after a wild ride across the sky. It was a magical time of day, when she felt as if she could scoop the very stars into her hands and spill them across the island into the dreams of those that slept.

Freesong stopped tying her ribbon mid-bow and looked at Puff in surprise. Pixie duties had only ever been a family activity when she herself was unable to pixie, and Puff had never really shown an interest in it, so Freesong wanted to be sure what the little pea meant.

Presents?"

Well... every week you send items to people at TNO. I... I'd like to do it this week." The pea glanced down shyly, digging her toes into the ultra soft carpet.

What would you like to send, then? And who to?"

Puff's head jerked up and she giggled. "Well you are the cuddly pixie, Mom! I want to send cuddly stuff!"
