How to make a Navigation Menu
(or: How to make a link to a different area on the same page)

STEP 1: Use this code in your Navigation MENU:

Change the keyword after the # and the Title to make the links: EXAMPLES :

STEP 2: Use this code at the BEGINNING of where you want the LINK TO JUMP YOU TO ON THE PAGE:

Make the sure that you use the same keyword after the = as the one in the Navigation menu, otherwise it won't know where you want it to jump to, and the link won't work: EXAMPLES :

This will jump the screen down so that whatever you put in between the "A NAME" and "/A" html codes is at the top of the screen. You can do like we did above and have it jump to some sort of header text, or you can have it jump to a certain image using the "IMG SRC" html codes. You can even put whole sentences or paragraphs into it. Experiment and see what works best.

Table within a table layout formattin.g
(or, how to make your textboxes line up underneath your pixels.)

Basically, it's a table inside of a table. Each set of pixels is in it's own mini table inside of my layout.
Neo was being a MAJOR pain, so this is only a pic of the code. You'll have to manually type this is yourself, I'm afraid. Anything in ( )'s are my comments, not part of the html code. ;) .

Use the same number of cells in each row to keep things lined up. You usually have to experiment and see how many you can put in a row before it messes up the layout, it all depends on how big the images are and how wide the page is.
How to make TEXT AREA boxes.
(or: How to make it so people can copy things like html codes for adoptables n graphics)

~text_ area cols=6 rows=3 class=box~
html codes or text here
~/text_ area~

Just make sure to replace the ~'s with html brackets and remove the space after the underscore. (Neo is being a pain about displaying this right for me today)

This code does differ slightly from the html code used to make text boxes used other places. Neopet's formatting makes it so you need to have an undescore between the words text and area in the coding.

You can also change the COLS and ROWS values to make the text area bigger or smaller, but it doesn't always work quite right, as sometimes having text areas of different sizes on the same page will mess them up, and they will all show up at the same size, so you might need to experiment with it to get it just right.
COLS is columns, or how many character spaces the box will go horizontally across the screen.
ROWS is how many rows of text going down you want to be displayed.
