A Petpage to help newbies grow financially and remind old players a few things.


Hello, guest! Are you a new player or an old player brushing up on your neopoint earning skills? Either way, applying these tips, along with playing games and/or restocking and such will help your neopoints build up faster! Pick a few and you could be on your way to a life of luxury (well, it might depend on which ones you pick and how lucky you are in the dailies and what you do that is not on this page). 1) Create a bank account. (Note: It does not matter what job you choose.) Constantly put your neopoints (np) in the bank to keep them safe from random events such as the tax beast and ghosts. Also remember to collect you interest everyday.

2) If you are addicted to gambling on neopets, GET HELP! I suggest not gambling at all, or at least limiting yourself. Gambling will make you lose more money than you gain.

3) Do your dailies daily. Not the wheels and gambling games, just the free games such as Tombola and the Fruit Machine. This page will help.

4) Check the sponsor game section for the quiz games that give you quick and easy np. Also try out other games in the sponsor games section because a lot of sponsor games are good sources of neopoints.

5) Make a favorites list of the games that are the shortest and best sources of neopoints for you.

6) If you are saving up for something, do not buy anything pointless or expensive. Only buy mandatory items. NEVER buy food when saving np. Instead, get free non-existing jelly and an omelet from Tyrannia.

7) Like I said in #6, NEVER BUY FOOD unless your trying for gourmet points. Every month, go to neopets.com/freebies for free food plus 2000 neopoints. A lot of dailies can also get you free food. An omelet from Tyrannia is worth 3 or 4 servings.

8) Learn the stock market or how to restock.

9) Follow the Terms & Conditions and Neorules!!! If you get frozen, you lose EVERYTHING! That means all of your neopoints and all of your items.

10) Be smart and be safe. You do not want to be scammed. Never give out your email or secret word or change your email if somebody tells you to.

11) When using the trading post, haggle (if possible) and research the item and ask other users about the item to make sure the trade is worth it.

12) Create a shop. Make sure you look at the shop wizard for reasonable prices on your items.
