How long I've been on Neopets? The first time that I went on neopets, I didn't know what to think. I thought the place was amazing! I started Neopets about 6 years ago, and I had self froze my first account. Eventually, I started a new account and self froze due to personal reasons. Then I finally created one of my older sides and switched my main to
Patternmatrix.
What is my description? My height is about 5'3' and I am a bit chubby. My hair is brown and I have never dyed it. My hair goes halfway down my back and I have no bangs. I usually wear my hair up. I don't usually wear makeup, because I believe it hides your natural beauty. My eye color is a stone/slate color and I wear glasses (I hate contacts). I really love to wear fancy/professional clothes. =D

The Guide To Advertise Sonata Successfully
Sonata never forces or hassles any of our members to go advertising the guild. Nicole and Luna do not mind advertising, but if you have the time to make a board or bump the current board we appreciate it. You are welcome to advertise if you wish or if you and a group of members want to make a board please do so! This section here will simply give you small guidance to those who want to advertise.
Many neopians out there are guildless or thinking about leaving their current guild. Not everyone has the patience to go through a load of guild premade advertisements and not everyone has the patience to advertise. We understand that. However, if a neopian is serious about finding the perfect guild they will want to read everything they can to find out more about it. I, Nicole, enjoy advertising and socializing with neopians on the guild board(s) and maybe you will start to enjoy advertising as well!
Looking out for guildless threads
Usually a guildless neopian will advertise by having the word "guildless" somewhere in thier title. Some of those thread titles are simple and others are a little more fancy. You can never tell from the title whether they will be active guild members or not. You just have to click on the thread and read thier first post thoroughly. That post will give you a good idea on what they are looking for in a guild. If they are not looking for a neo-related guild, then wish them good luck on their search (as a courtesy) and find another thread.
Advertising on a guildless thread
Looks like you clicked on a thread and the neopian is looking for a neo-related guild. Like I said before, read their first post thoroughly. Number 1, don't advertise Sonata if they are looking for a non neo-related guild. You don't want to make you or the guild look bad. Even if the neopian says they will look at other types of guilds, they will only truely be happy with the guild type they are really looking for.
Some guildless neopians will post a short description about themselves and what sort of guild they are looking for. These are the threads that you are seeking. The fact that they have spent the time to introduced themselves in the first post means they are probably very friendly and chatty. If they are looking for neo-related guilds, then go ahead, start a conversation with them. Rather than just posting the premade ad for Sonata, start by introducing yourself and describe what you like about our guild. If they want to learn more give them the link to the guild webbie and tell them you will stay to answer any questions they may have. Remember to be honest when advertising Sonata.
There will be a few guildless threads where the first post will have "I am guildless" with no details on what type of guild they are looking for. In this case you may be better off to leave the thread. Let's face it, it's boring advertising when the guildless neopian does not want to chat or communicate.
Creating your own guild advertisement thread
Feel like bumping our advertising board or making a new one if the other is getting to the max post limit? If you make a new one make sure there is not another one out there. If there is one out there you should look at the number of posts on the right hand side of the thread title. If that number is higher than ___ gear up to make a new one. Introduce yourself, add a short description of the guild in your own words, what we provide, what we do as a guild and so on. This may take a few posts and if it does add a little sign like this (-c-) at the end of the post to show that you are continuing. It may take a while, but they are worth it in the end. You never know, a fellow guild member may come along and help you keep the board bumped by chatting with you.
Remember that the title is important when creating your own Sonata advertisement thread. It attracts the guildless right? There are many fancy symbols to use, so we decided that we should collect some symbols for you to use. Be creative and have some fun!

Existing Sonata advertising threads
Often there will be a thread for Sonata already open and being bumped throughout the day. It's better to help bump this thread rather than make multiple threads. To make life easier for everyone, the current thread will be directly linked through the "Advertise" link on the homepage of the guild. If there is no current thread, then the link will simple take you to the guild neoboards.
Want To Help Out The Guild?
So you want to help out the guild by having responsibilities, hosting pages, and more. There are a lot of things that always need to be done in Sonata and if you want to help us out then go for it. You are not obligated to help out, after all our members are here to relax. =)
These are not permanent positions. You can always resign from your position. All applications will be sent to Nicole. Nicole will then discuss your application with the other owners, and will get back to you. Please be patient! =D
Graphic designers
Looking for people who show a unique style of graphic design. They must be able to make either any of these: userlookups, gallery layouts, petpage layouts, buttons, banners, guild layouts, etc. Coding knowledge is not necessary, but is preferred. We will have a guild graphic page, so it is preferred if you can make at least 1 graphic per week. You must have a portfolio of your graphics. We are looking for great/high-quality graphics. =D

Writers
We need members with creativity and good literacy. You will be needed to write out some content for the Sonata Chronicles. The articles do not have to be neopet related, but the must be neopets appropriate. We accept articles on anything interesting. You may also be asked to make content for some pages or events.

Page managers
You must be able to host a page or more and manage them. If you want to host larger events or pages that require constant updating you will be able to do so. These page managers are always in need and the ownies do keep track of the pages, as well as help update and manage some of the bigger pages.

Event Organizers
You must be able to organize one guild event per month. You can be a permanent event organizer or you can step down after a month. We would like a small group of organizers to make creative events for the guild. Nicole will help put the event together, will make the events layout, and help advertise the event to get members interested.

Welcoming Committee
You will take care of the new members who are entering the guild, sending invites (when applications are accepted by the owners), chatting with people, answering questions and helping members out. Nicole and Luna do this as well, so you must be pretty active. =D

Have an idea for a page and you would like to host it?
So you have an idea for a page in the guild and would like to host it huh? Well great! Neomail Nicole or Luna and explain your idea. We will help get your plans ready to make the page (like making a layout for the page). Most ideas are accepted, so don't be afraid to share your ideas. =D
If you have an idea, but don't want to host it, that is completely fine. We will find a member who will be able to host it for you. You must be able to explain the idea and help that person with your idea.
If you come up with a unique idea you get credit for it. The guild will not use your idea without your permission (must make a written neomail with your permission). If you leave the guild and do not want Sonata using your idea, we will take the page down. We want your hard work recognized! =)

When I first started playing neopets, I never thought that I would get a lot of beautiful pets. Then I started applying for pets that were UFA, my friends let me adopt their pets, bought the lab map and zapped my dream pets (and other users dream pets), and got my first FFQ.
I don't remember all the pets that I have adopted out.
