Misadori Gender: Female Age: Spry adult Species: Silver Kougra Occupation: Ex-soldier, bum [If it wasn't fun, just don't think about it too much!]

Like the rest of her family, Misadori is like an overgrown kid in a way; the difference is that she is actually overgrown, being several times taller than them. She has a positive and excitable disposition but pretty much no self control, which is intimidating as she towers over the rest of the family. Unlike her sister, Misadori was once a wandering bum, and the only job she was ever held was accidental. She resided in Shenkuu during a tough time and although she ended up serving in an army for a while, she has almost no fighting skills or discipline. She just doesn't like seeing people get hurt, and since she manages that, it's enough. Her best pal is her shorter cousin, also nicknamed Misa. Misadori serves as more of the muscle and cheerful follower of the duo.

Kieruu*: ... it's amazing how we manage to live in the same house. Huh… but… every house needs someone like her. Especially ours.

Kuvirea*: Please control yourself, stop breaking things and respect what people say. Why does she never listen? It gets embarrassing and frustrating sometimes, but I believe she'll pull together when she has to. Motivated, I fear to think what could result...

Saohme*: Hahaha, now this one knows how to live. Right at the edge, but nothing ever happens to her, because in a place like this, what could? We should take advantage of this safety!

Misaki T*: What's up cousin? Aw, come on, you don't want to spend the rest of the day sleeping on the grass again do you? Sure it's a nice day, but we could be doing other things! Maybe we can go on an adventure again sometime, that's a neat idea ;) I wouldn't go anywhere without you!

Rikaron*: Hmm? What's it like being so tall? Is it ever inconvenient? Or is it really great? You're different from cousin Vontarc so I guess it can be both a happy and horrible time. What? You want to play a game? Is this going to be like the snowball fight...? Sure, but you throw really hard. It kind of hurts!

Petpet: ??? – Misadori's petpet is taken care of by Kieruu, who gives him his scheduled zapping every day. In other words, it usually has a name like 'Pooper' and usually looks like a pile of soot. Misadori takes almost comically good care of the pile whenever she happens to be around for it.

Working notes: Compared to nearly everyone else Misa is like a giant. She's naturally kind of monotone colored but dresses nice and colorful. She also has slightly scruffier hair than the others, although it's hard to tell since I always draw like a mess. Her name is a garbled version of the 'green' in Japanese. She used to be a green kougra.

Story

There are a lot of appalling and tragic reasons why a kid might have to leave home, but if there was one behind her leaving, Misadori doesn't remember. So it probably wasn't that terrible. Or maybe she just doesn't carry terrible things very well. They can be awfully heavy.

She left her home in the misty mountain country at the words of her superiors, and proceeded to drift around, grabbing around for money and food. The life of a beggar and a leech to society, but to her this life seemed just fine. This kind of life was full of action and new people, so this was how she liked to live. She knew just enough to stay out of real trouble, and just little enough to not see the big risks and dangers in the things she did.

Before winter came, though, she encountered Kuvirea, who she would later call her 'sister,' fresh out of some trauma and not ready to go anywhere. Misadori took it into her own hands to set her off again, market to her some new journey to see her cheer up, and maybe gain a friend in the process. Somehow it worked, although the 'friend' part is still up for debate.

Joined by the quiet Kieruu, the three crossed the sea to the biggest city Misadori had ever seen. There they planned to settle, to change their looks and outlooks and take on new lives. She took on a nice new silver appearance and moved into a large house, as her brother and sister flourished in this new environment. But this was boring to her. It was always the same people and things every day. Even the nicest people get stale.

So she set off again.

She returned to her old land to find it in surprising and exciting chaos. An army of men in white were facing off against an army of people in many other colors. Fitting right into the color scheme, she was taken into the army of white. The group traveled around and saw a lot of exciting things, some things she doesn't like talking about. She's hardly oblivious to the pain that her little group caused but as said, she's good at letting these things go, for better or for worse... She was never much of a soldier herself. Misadori was simply in charge of showing them around since she knew the landscape so well.

In this group, she met her new best friend, a little girl called Misaki, whose full name she did not seem fond of. Misaki played with fire all the time, both literally and figuratively, but she was sharp and aware and knew how to make cool things happen without getting them into trouble. In fact, she seemed actively able to sense and avoid trouble.

Her new friend's senses ended up saving them both from something that Misadori doesn't really understand, but Misaki might. After a few months, she sensed their little group was about to run into a trial worse than ever before and quickly pulled Misadori out of there. Misadori, who was by now familiar with her friend's impulsive but generally correct actions, followed her out.

Shortly after, unknown to her, the army collapsed, all because of one man. He is still on the loose.

So now, Misadori has returned to her family in the city, and is enjoying the peaceful life. After her latest adventure, she's happy just to lie on the lawn and chase down the new extensions of her family to get to know them. They are reluctant to fight... she is the tallest of all of them. But she doesn't want to see anyone get hurt.

She just wants them to have fun like she did on her journeys. She might be heading off on another one again soon.
