About Miroir

Miroir is a highly successful guild based around the theme of fashion and beauty, and our goal is to help girls and boys around the world learn to love the skin they're in. Everyone is beautiful, and everyone deserves a chance to be their best and be proud of it.
Although Miroir is fashion based, our discussions can be anything from talking about current events, what's going on in our lives, school, all the way to what was shown at fashion week.
Miroir is a family guild, which means that our members are very close, and all of our members have pride in their home.

New website layout, yay!! As you guys have probably noticed, we have had a big member sweep. Now that we've made our numbers more accurate, we would really really appreciate it if you could pop onto the guild chat every once in awhile and bump one of our boards,make your own, or post on a guildless board.

Our teams page is being revamped at the moment by Cathy as well. If you would like to be put on a team, please neomail her!

Please extend a big welcome to our new owner Jas (symploce) as well. He's going to help re-vamp the magazine and it will be better than ever before. Interested in having your own page? Post on the boards or neomail one of the owners!

Rules

These are Miroir's guild rules. If you are interested in joining, or haven't been on in awhile, here are the rules that you need to follow to be a member of Miroir.

1. Miroir is semi-literate which means we don't tolerate "tlking lyk d1s", but smilies and "LOL" other popular acronyms are alright!

2. We also ask that you be kind to other members. Miroir is a place where people can gather together to have a good time.

3. Rule 2 goes greatly with this rule which is to keep the drama to a low level- we want everyone to be respectful of each others opinions.

4. Don't push for admin or any other kind of power in the guild. If we think you deserve it we'll give it to you.

5. Dishonoring the guild or representing the guild in a negative way is very disrespectful. Therefore, please take pride in Miroir.

6. No spamming, please. If you want to raise your post count, join in or start a conversation!

*We will have member sweeps when ever we feel is necessary, and if you haven't been on in a couple weeks or participated in any guild activities, you may be deleted from Miroir. Sorry!

Members Guide to Advertising

If you are a member of Miroir and you would like to advertise for the guild, here is a quick guide to help you out.

Guildless Boards: On a guildless board, always remember to address the board maker by their name, and make sure to read their requirements before posting. Never use a pre-made ad on these boards, as it does not give the board maker a sense of who you are, and some may find it annoying. Always stay to chat with the board maker! This could easily be one of your new friends in the guild, and you should treat them just like you would a member of the guild.

Bump A Board: Bumping a board just means that if you see a Miroir board on the Guild Chat, or if someone posts a link to a Miroir board on the guild message board, you can go to the board and chat on it with fellow members or lurkers, or you can simply post "bump!" to keep the board visible on the Guild Chat.

Create A Board: Use the titles listed below as board titles when creating a board. If you have decided to create a board, there probably isn't a board up for you to bump. When creating a board, write an intro about the guild, and make sure to link the website. Invite lurkers to stay and chat, and post the link to your board on the guild message board so your fellow members can help you out. Good luck!
