So what exactly is this page about? Me, of course, because I am massively vain. Haha, just kidding. It's my multifunctional personal site. Like I said, call me Gabrielle. I'm eighteen and I plan on attending USC(the real one : Go Gamecocks!) in the fall.

Those are the basics. What else? I've been dating my boyfriend since (2/28/10) and I love him with all of my heart, so don't try anything. I'm nice to you as long as you are nice to me because diversity is wonderful thing. Anything else you want to know, just ask! (:

First

This post is really a letter to myself. Right now, I'm feeling really low. My boyfriend will be attending the Citadel in the fall, and right now, I'm at a loss. In order to pay for the expenses of his schooling, he has to enlist in the National Guard. So, the summer after his freshman year, he has to go to Basic, which means, basically, after this month, I lose him for a year. A year for anything and everything to come in between us. I'm terrified. I'll be one hundred miles away at my school, and he'll be thirty minutes away from my current home in a self-inflicted prison. Don't get me wrong, I'm very proud of him, but it so scary. He's the first guy I've ever been serious about, and aside from that, my best friend. I Just don't want to lose us in the process.

Hello, guest ! Welcome to Gabrielle's Application Guide! Here, you'll find everything you need to know about successfully filling out an application for Nameless Neos. Please consider reading this guide in full before sending your application in, because it will greatly increase your chances of being invited to join.

Step One

The first thing that you will need to do is decide how you would like to submit your application. There are two ways to submit : neomail OR petpage. I have listed the pros and cons of each below.

Neomail: Simple. Requires no coding or HTML knowledge. Limiting in a creative sense.

Petpage: Complex. Some or full coding knowledge required. Gives you a chance to showcase your skills and personality. I recommend a premade site like this one here or coding your own.

Please keep in mind that the method in which you apply is completely up to you. Nameless Neos will accept members from either method if the content of the application is consistent with the expectations that we hold of all members.

Step Two

Step Two is actually filling out the application in the method you have chosen. The application you are given to fill out is a guideline, and although you need to answer all the questions, that doesn't mean you can't give us more information. To make your application shine, show us some personality. Tell us about your neopet goals, your pet turtle, or even your job or school troubles. Show us that you're a genuine person and that you believe you'll fit in with us. Nameless Neos is all about shedding your labels and masks, so please don't put one on filling out this application. Above all, just be YOURSELF. If you can do these things, you'll greatly increase your chance of being accepted.

Step 3

Step Three is turning in the application. If you have chosen a Neomail application, you will fill it out and send it to the Nameless Leader (Hint:Clicking on that link will take you the guild leader's profile page. Click the purple fish to neomail her.) If you have filled out a petpage application, you will need to neomail a link to the guild leader by clicking here. And that's it! You're done. You should hear back from Abs, The Nameless Leader, within a day, unless she's busy or out of town.

Below is a sample application filled out by yours truly, Gabrielle. Please do not copy and paste my application, as the guild leader will know. This is merely to be used as a guide.

NaNo in a Nutshell

What

Writing one 50,000-word novel from scratch in a month's time.

Who

You! We can't do this unless we have some other people trying it as well. Let's write laughably awful yet lengthy prose together.

Why

The reasons are endless! To actively participate in one of our era's most enchanting art forms! To write without having to obsess over quality. To be able to make obscure references to passages from our novels at parties. To be able to mock real novelists who dawdle on and on, taking far longer than 30 days to produce their work.

When

You can sign up anytime to add your name to the roster and browse the forums. Writing begins November 1. To be added to the official list of winners, you must reach the 50,000-word mark by November 30 at midnight. Once your novel has been verified by our web-based team of robotic word counters, the partying begins.

Where
