Whisper...
Step.
Hard, cold eyes follow your every step. How did you end up here?
Step.
Whisper...
It's coming back now, slowly. Flashes of a street, a run-down restaurant, an odd girl with lavender eyes and blue hair... Pain, cracking against the back of your head...and now you're here. You can feel the hostility rolling off of the stares that are trained on you. If the phrase 'looks could kill' were literal, you'd be long dead by now.
You finally halt, the guards (for that is what you must assume that they are) on either side of you melting away into the shadows. You stand, nervous and alone, before a raised platform. The back of the platform disappears into shadow. You jump slightly when a voice speaks. Ah, our little trespasser. A shiver crawls down your spine. The voice is feminine, soft, but the edge of menace concealed beneath did not escape your notice.
Tell me, dear, how did you come to find the Alliance? the voice asks, and you clear your throat nervously before responding. I, um...I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're talking about...I just got grabbed, I didn't do anything, honestly... You trail off, fidgeting with nervousness.
The voice chuckles. No one ever finds us by accident, my dear, She says, and you shudder. Fear begins to prickle at the edges of your mind. Something isn't right... I have no other choice, The voice says, a soft sigh accompanying her words. N-no other choice for what? You ask, gulping and stepping back slightly. Something bad...you can feel it...
No other choice but to do...this.
Pain, the worst pain you've ever felt before, splits through your middle. Finally, the shadows concealing the mysterious figure in front of you lift, revealing a xweetok with lavender eyes and a wicked smile.
I am Midnight. Welcome to the Alliance.
The world goes black.

-Soul catchers are able to see souls. They are percieved slightly differently by each individual, but one recurring theme is that of color. Souls are seen as a color, and the person seems to 'glow' that color.
-Soul Catchers are unable to see their own souls, or the souls of other Soul Catchers. This has lead to the belief that Soul Catchers have no souls of their own.
-They can live indefinitely because of the souls that they catch and use.
-Each colored soul represents the current mood of that person or the true nature of that person. The colors and traits are as follows.
Red: Angry, Hateful
Orange: Hyper, Inattentive, Confused
Yellow: Happy, Content, Bright
Green: Nervous, Anxious
Blue: Calm, Serene, Wise
Purple: Passionate, Loving
Black: Dark, corrupted. Very, very rare.
Gold: Pure. Very, very rare.

Sekutso: Him. I have one word for him. Evil! An angel, or perhaps a demon - I cannot tell. He was out 'preaching' one day when I happened upon him. I don't think he likes me, as I made his crowd run away and stole all the souls of the people listening to him. But he's twisted, insane. Evil.
Aree: My youngest soul catcher, she is still relatively new to this world. I helped her along a bit - she's crazy, but who among us is not? She has a lot to learn, I know that, but I do have an odd spot of affection for this little squirt. I can only imagine what time will do to her.
