Me and my brother were born... Maybe created -there's no one to say- with the Sun and the Moon. His grace swept over and made day and her serenity cooled the heavens at night. Then there was Chlore.
We are all of Chlore, every animal, every plant. But there are the few that were born of the Skies, whether of the Moon or the Sun, we were fated to have a destiny. Me and my brother were Sun Children, and our destiny proved to occur all too soon.

Who she truly is
As a guardian, primarily, Erri is just. Her foremost priority is to do the right thing. Whether minor or extreme, upon witnessing or accidentally performing an injustice, she can stay awake for days, constantly rerunning events in her head. Her insomnia can sometimes drive her insane, not remembering what truly happened that caused it, she can over-exaggerate things that have happened, and after times such as the Grahdir, it can take her years to reestablish her equalibrium.
However, when at ease, Erri is extremely level headed and is good at finding solutions to the issues that the residents of Sun's Forest may come across quickly. It's easy for her to talk to people once she's deemed them to have good intentions, and easily makes friends with passers by. However, she doesn't necessarily trust her own judgement - often noticing meaningless actions by recent acquaintances and interpreting them to have potent significance.
Erri can also make rash decisions when her curiosity gets the better of her. However, she rarely finds things fascinating enough to distract her as she is often very focused on her duties as a guardian or as a friend.

As her father, Erri has an undying love for him. He
saved her Forest, 
her brother and Chlore. She
feels permanently indebited to him.
Forests
Growing up in a forest has lead Erri to have a permanent comfort within them. Despite only having ever been in Sun's Forest, Erri is convinced that she'd be content in any forest, whether her homeland or not.
Mud
Erri has an agitating obsession with mud. Whenever called out on it, she always blames Darre, but she's just inclined to play in it

If you happen to be interested in annoying Erri, a sure way to do so is to respond to a question in a roundabout way. She cannot stand when creatures don't directly answer her queries, instead tumbling off into an irrelevant tangent.

It's not as if Erri has a problem with the Oaks or the seeds themselves, it's just that she has enough already. Cannre seems to have an unnatural obsession with acorns, Erri assumes it to be a form of attachment disorder, but he keeps attempting to buy her love with them. She already likes him. It's pointless.

My father raised us on Chlore, warming us, teaching us and reminding us of our world.
But we grew as any children would, playing, laughing, running. We were happy as we tumbled through our lives. Happy as birds.
Never let them into the clearing, for then there will be a calamity
Our days of joy were limited. It was far too soon before Zyre appeared in our lives. Of course that wasn't his real name. He lingered in shadows, disguising his face. He didn't want the world to know who he was...

My brother was divulging too much information. Shadows aren't to be trusted. Ever.
That's interesting... Yeah, we were born here. Raised by the Sun! We know this forest like the back of our hands!
What was wrong with Darre? I couldn't place it. He seemed almost catlike, flaunting his position yet knowing nothing of the creature he was opening up to.
...Darre...we don't have hands...
I was attempting to discreetly discourage him. I was failing.
Shush Erri. Don't pass on the oppurtunity for new friends!

This was the original revamp of Erri's background, although I concluded I didn't like the colour scheme enough to keep it. Still, I rather like this picture.
This is an intense redo of a hilariously outdated picture of Erri - the first I ever drew of her and the first attempt I ever made with a tablet. I'm contemplating putting it up as a spot the difference sort of thing. Aside from that I'm pretty pleased with this picture, although that's partly because I have the pathetic version right next to it to compare.
This took close to 9 hours.
