Every night, stars fill the sky. They're very pretty, and we often wish on them. Usually for silly things we don't need. We don't know how the stars appear, though. They're not natural. My friend's cousin said that people make the stars, in a big tower. Her cousin went missing, though. The Court wanted her, and snatched her up in the night.
I was snatched in the night. Years ago. Now, I work in the Spire, under the Court. They call me the Star Creator, and I have to stay until I choose to forget what I know. I want to forget.
The Court wants me to.
I don't want to give into them.
What do I do...
This is mostly for Mitzi, so she can keep track of what she wants to do. :* Feel free to stalk, though, to see if/when a goal is met.
Done! :D Yay. So much easier than I thought.
Goal II: Strale
I had one, but sold it. Now I have to come up with 400k more NP to buy another one and reattach it.
Goal III: BC/Art Gallery
I've lost faith in the Spam-Contest (I mean, Beauty Contest), so when I improve my art skills, I'll try entering the Art Gallery with a drawing of her.
Goal IV: Fishing Level
I want to increase her level to about 80 in hopes of reeling in a flask, which I'll either sell or use on her. Level: 60/80 :D I'm halfway there~ Goal V: More organized petpage
Redid the layout a bit, yay.
Goal VI: Zapping
Currently in the process of zapping her into an Eventide of some sort.
Name: Unknown, known only as MenschenGenerally apathetic, Menschen doesn't think of any recurring consequences brought forth by her actions. She doesn't realize that the things she does affects others, but even if she did, she wouldn't be phased.
Menschen likes the noises of the wildlife, artificially replicated by the Strale. She's also been rumored to be seen gazing at the auroras when they appear, which may or may not be her creation. However, nothing can be published as fact. Except that she likes fish. That's fact.
Things are balanced, so where adoration peers through, distaste lurks. It's obvious that she would have a grudge against the Court. However, it's also speculated that she dislikes most things in general, such as birds and planes.
Of course, there are some things that are just there, and aren't liked nor disliked; or, more accurately, loved and hated in respective ways. She doesn't care much for forests, but admires their beauty. Menschen also has shown mixed feelings about mortals, but doesn't pay mind to them.
Obviously, the majority of inspiration for Menschen's character comes from the sky: especially stars and clouds. I've had this character brewing in my mind, but didn't have the right pet to bond it with. Then, the Eventide pets (and Woodland Uni later) were released. I thought, why not zap Menschen to fit this character?
I came up with his character in a dream, so who knows what else could have subconsciously influenced it. If I remember anything else, it'll go here.
The X'hin Curia mixes the Terrae language of Nutai with the dead language of Latin. X'hin translates to 'Elite', while Curia literally means 'Court'. The X'hin Curia is made up of the five most important members of the Court, with one reigning supreme. The Supreme, known only as that, makes final decisions, with the guidance of the four.
This inner circle of the Court makes the larger decisions, like with what happens to Menschen. It's speculated that they're corrupt, but they're too rarely heard of or seen to prove that.
V'lal Curia
The V'lal Curia is made up of twenty lesser important Court members. V'lal Curia translates to 'Twenty Court'. There are always no more or less than twenty members; if one dies, a replacement is automatic. The V'lal Curia deals with the populous, and makes more of an appearance than the X'hin Curia.
The eerie silence crept into the crevices of Menschen's mind. Conflicting thoughts hit her hard, almost a guilty conscience. It was daytime in the mortal realm, so she was off duty for hours to come. Gliding across the floor, nearly pacing, she pondered her life. She had way too much free time... and the Court declared free time to be potentially dangerous to thought patterns.
She could see why. She was thinking up absurd thoughts, like actually living in the mortal realm. Not that she wished to. Absurd thoughts, she muttered.
However, she was plotting in the back of her head. To live free from the Court. Which would be hard, because she is a member of it. Unofficially, of course. But the head Court master said himself, you're one of us. Did she want to be, though?
Too much free time, she echoed. You're one of us. She did know one thing. She's a prisoner of her mind.
