Articles

This is the section for stories, game guides, and anything of decent length.

You may create your own art or find a piece of art around the site to submit for use with your article, i may have to reduce the size of the image if it is too large, but that can be managed.

I'm hoping for at least 3 per issue and probly no more than 5 per issue. A lot will depend on the length of each entry and exactly how much interest is shown in writing for the guild paper.

The best option for getting an article to me is probably sticking it on a petpage (at least show where each new paragraph should start). I will do no editting unless asked to.

Comics

Create a little funny/serious/sad comic and submit it for this section. It can all be made by you or you can piece together several neopets images to make the comic by adding the text/story.

Max width the comic can be is 560 pixels.

Spotlights

I am hoping for a volunteer to collect entries and choose the winner. It would be wonderful if this volunteer could also write a short little piece about why they chose each winner.

There will be 3 spotlights: pet, petpet, and member. For the pet and petpet submit your own with why you think he/she deserves the spotlight. For the member spotlight nominate another guild member along with why you think they deserve to be in the spotlight.

There could be 2 pet spotlights, one for a member's permie and one for a random UFA pet (hopefully one that's been listed for a long time and needs some help finding a new home.

Another Spotlight could be added when submitted for a neopian character.

Customization

Would you like to write an article featuring holiday/seasonal/themed customization items? Sure go for it. Not sure what else to put here, kind of speaks for itself I think.

Reviews

Pick a neopets item, food or book and write a review on it. It could be a recipe and rating of a food item such as Nachos with Cheese Ingredients are corn chips and melted cheese. Make it by putting a desired amount of chips in a cute little box, on a plate or in a bowl. Next pour desired amount of melted cheese over the chips. This makes a wonderful snack while watching the Altador Cup or your favorite movie. Don't forget it can be a bad rating too.. like Dung Pizza who would want to eat dung? Well if you do though, here's how to make a pizza....

If you choose to review a book, try to make up a short excerpt for the book, those little 1 or 2 liners just don't give enough information..

there could even be an avatar review. poll a board on how they rate it.. too common.. too hard.. overused.. not seen much. whatever you want to make a review on.

Suggestions

I am open to suggestions for other sections.

My job will be to put it together/host the stories. I will have to preview each article and such to make sure that there is nothing i feel could get me in trouble for hosting (so yes that's right, keep the neopet romance stories to yourself and well they can just be great friends that go see movies alot or play kacheekers.)

I may also work on an editorial, i don't know.
