Eddy is a Cybernetic Organism.
He was created for a purpose, and given abilities to help aid this purpose. His personality like everything else about him programmed from the very start and was given the ability to evolve. He is made up of living tissue over a metal Endoskeleton. His internal organs are mostly robotic and can out last that of any naturally birthed creatures. His creators initials were E.D.I, Edward Donald Icenhour, and are printed in small caps upon his left thigh as a sort of a model number. Eddy's purpose was to be a Medic Droid to aid patients of doctors. He has an amazing ability called Telepathy. This allows Ed, who would otherwise be mute, to speak to others through the mind. At first most people experiencing Eddy talking to them is like hearing your own voice inside your head. It takes a while to get use to, and sometimes there are simply people who he is unable to speak with in this way.

After time he began to evolve a personality trait that could only be described as curiosity. Eddy began to question his very existence and in fact who and what he was. Ignoring his programing and creator, he found out what he really was and typically did not like what he had found. Upon learning what he was he escaped the control of his creator and left the home that had been sheltering him from the world.
He now aimlessly wanders about searching for some new purpose to guide him. Still unknowingly he carries with him what he was built for; to help anyone who is in need and in any way possible.
