Yes, Matsuyama has a bunch of items in my gallery. He collects frozen treats such as slushies, shaved ice and brucicles, as well as chia pops. Matsuyama also collects frozen foods and snowballs. You can go to my gallery here
Feel free to send me stuff in those categories, I will list you here as a donor. ^^
Matsuyama also has a nice iced bedroom in my neohome, and a silver room I plan on using as..oh, I don't know, a bathroom or guest room? You can go to my neohome here
I also have some extensions, so my pets don't live in total darkness. :3
When requesting a custom or trade, please ask what color you want the cloud to be, and if you want snow, rain, a rainbow, or nothing at all, etc. These are customs only. Anyway, here are the rules.
1. Do NOT USE IN ANY CONTEST OR CLAIM CREDIT
2. Do NOT take my name off, or modify it IN ANY WAY
3. Only use the one I MADE FOR YOU. Design stealing is a theft, and if I see it I WILL start a wall of shame and put you up on it.
4. If you ask me for a trade and your adopt is really small or simple, (for example: no shading) I may ask you to do more than one in exchange. This is null if I ask you to do a trade.
5. Please enjoy them and use them, if you don't I will be offended. (Also, please pick them up so that I may take them off this page so n00bs can't grab them from here)
Matsuyama has an instrument he plays and it's an accordion...made of ice. (He's not very good though, the sounds it makes are akin to a dying cat.) He can conjure it out of nowhere, or so it seems, when really to make it he is simply taking snow from somewhere else around him, or from his wings.
The following is extremely long, and part of a plot between Cyan and I. Matsu, Peanut, and Dymungo belong to myself, everyone else belongs to Cyan.
Matsuyama paced up to the dismal mountain carefully, a light of caution flickering in his eyes. The beaded hair tufts lay wetly across his face as he shook off the water collecting on a funny little back-pad thing. Standing in the rain, he finally saw what the informant had told him of, a small groove. Inserting his paw, he pressed, and a door opened with a rumble. He glanced around once, and entered into a torch-lit wall. The door closed ominously behind him.
The towering walls were pitch black twenty feet up where the torch light fell short. That may be why Striyf remained hidden from his vantage point standing upside-down on the ceiling. Aquamarine eyes watched the new comer, narrowing slightly. Dang that low-life. He was telling others how to get to the hideout again. The Chaos hesitated. He could jump down and confront this stranger.. or he could wait and see what the little rat would do. He opted towards the first choice, seeing as how the Leader would be... displeased if a spy entered these hallowed halls. He allowed the Kraft he had been using to hold himself upside-down to falter, and he dropped to the ground about ten feet away from Matsuyama. The shapeshifter crossed his arms and glared at the Xweetok, his hooves making clacking sounds as he shuffled.
Matsuyama blinked, the only sign he was even remotely surprised. Well, this fellow didn't look very friendly. Not at all. "I come to join you. This is the place, right?" Matsuyama asked, meeting the hard glare with a gaze equally intense, filled with a year of pure anger, resentment and sorrow. No xweetok was going to intimidate him, not after what he'd been through. His own hostility surprised him.
Striyf's eyebrows rose and he gave a rather reptilian hiss before he purred in a velvety soft voice that totally contradicted it, " I would not speak so harshly to the one who decides who enters Silencieux and who is killed because they found the base and failed the test." Lie. Mietitrice, the Reaper, was the Test Giver. But.. Mie was he best friend, giving him some influence.. right? Right. Striyf, however, gave no outward signs that he was lying.
Matsuyama's eyes hardened. "I come as an ally. Would you really kill everyone who enters? I will be useful." Even as he said it, his icy snowflake wings glowed faintly, and he readied himself for an attack. He didn't think they would, maybe this was a bravery test, but he didn't want to leave it to chance either.
We kill anyone we find unworthy. Pretty much anyone we want, actually," Striyf said, with the tiniest bit of self-disgust in his voice. Oh, no. Striyf loved his job. Abso-FREAKIN-lutely loved it. (note that sarcasm cannot be heard through computers) Then his voice hardened again. " There is no such thing as an ally in Silencieux. There is no predictability, there is no freedom." Then he crouched down. " Your test begins now. Fail, and you die. Succeed, and you continue to the Leader, who will decide your fate." And with that, he vanished in a flash of darkness, yet there was an ominous presence in the air of the hall.
Matsuyama pricked up his ears. Was he doing the right thing here? Or should he forget his entire mission now? He could still get out, and survive a fight, but then all this time would be wasted. He continued down the hall, an icy, shining dagger materializing in his paw, alert to every noise. They'd probably test him as he was coming down the hall, an ambush perhaps. The jug attached to the pad on his back made no sound, he moved smoothly and fluidly, not surprising for one of the mountains. As for that Striyf fellow....he wasn't sure about them. Had there been another tone in his hard voice? Matsuyama wasn't sure. He'd never been good at reading people, especially since he'd always been a bit of an outcast. Staying out of the torchlight, he used his dagger to light the darkness, murmuring a few words so that it glowed dimmer, barely visible.
Yo!" A cheerful voice suddenly cut through the darkness. A dark gray, blue and orange creature with a spaded silver tail and smoldering red eyes stepped out of the shadows near him, seeming totally at ease. He had a smirk on, his eyes lit up in a slightly mock-amused way. " I hear you've met Striyf, huh? He said your test began?" He sat down and scratched his ear with a yawn. The creature looked to be a cross between a Lupe and a Xweetok, but since all Silencieux members became shapeshifters after their arrival, it was hard to tell. " Well. You already passed the first test. Good for you! And the second. Hurrah!" He walked closer to Matsuyama, then stuck out his paw. " I, my little ducky, am Mietitrice, the Reaper.
Matsuyama shook the paw, seemingly relaxed at the creature's demeanor, yet still staying wary. This could be an act, couldn't it? "I'm Matsuyama." he said, noting Mietitrice's strange appearance. "..You both seem like shapeshifters, is that common here?" he asked, being a naturally curious fellow, and also wanting to know what he was up against.
Mietitrice looked mildly impressed, his grin becoming a bit more genuine. " Yep. After you join, Leader shoots us up with something and after a few days you gain the ability to shapeshift and form Darkmatter. It's a must, really, you don't get much of a choice. Real helpful, though." His grin got even larger, showing off pointy canines. " Speaking of, it's time for your fourth test! After that, only one to go." He walked towards the wall and put his paw on a seemingly normal slate of rock. His paw glowed dark gray for a moment, before the stone melted under it and he pulled a ruby out of the compartment within. " You," he said simply, dropping the ruby in front of Matsuyama, " are doing to change this into a sapphire. Or your going to try to, anyway. But not with any powers you might currently hold. You are going to channel your buried D¤monische Kraft and change it using that." He looked amused, and waited for Matsuyama to ask the question he heard quite often-- What is D¤monische Kraft?
Matsuyama thought deeply about this. Shot up with something? A drug? Would it alter his mind, possibly? Then, he'd need to prepare some kind of multipurpose antidote. And...Damonische kraft? ...Was this a trick? Was Damonische a way of seeing if Matsuyama was not as evil as the other members? Was he supposed to know this already? Thoughts swirled around in his head like fireflies in a jar. Dare he ask the question? Matsu took a gamble. "What is Damonische Kraft?
Mietitrice laughed. " Calm down, dude. Everyone has D¤monische Kraft, it's just easier to tap into for some. It's similar to chakra, really. It means Demon Power, even though it has nothing to do with Demons. Actually, they call it that because if a Demon is struck with a weapon crafted with D¤monische Kraft, it hurts the Demon more then if the weapon hadn't been exposed to it. Everyone can use it, but it comes more naturally to some than to others. This test is to see how much Kraft training you'd have to go through with me and Striyf before you're up to par with the rest of us." He pushed to ruby towards Matsuyama. " Now, put your paw on it. Deep deep into your mind. You'll know once you find your Kraft reserves. Once you get a good grip on it, think sapphire over and over again until it changes. It'll probably only be purple, or have a bluish tinge, but it's better then what most people can do.
Matsuyama listened with alert ears. It sounded similar to his magic, a wellspring of power you delve into. Perhaps all magic worked the same. Matsu took a deep breath, and though his eyes continued to physically stare at Mietitrice, he could see something else, a wellspring of his normal ice power, pulsing within him. But there was something else. There was the tiniest hint of blackness in the blue, a faint tint on his soul. Matsu's breathing slowed to a crawl, and he began to mentally say, "Sapphire. Sapphire. Sapphire." Nothing else existed. Other thoughts slowed, and stopped. The ruby, cool in his paw, was all he saw. He felt a shudder in his mind, and the ruby began to glow fiercely. Red turned to purple, and then quickly to blue. But then, the sapphire itself began to change shape, lengthening and sharpening to a wickedly pointy tip, a perfect knife. Matsuyama jerked out of his mental trance, and the knife clattered to the floor. He looked up at Mietitrice, eyes slightly widened. "Is that....what you meant?" he asked, keeping calm although inside he was shaking.
Mietitrice stared at the knife in awe, then looked at Matsuyama with barely concealed shock in his vibrant red eyes. His mouth twisted into a firm line, and he glanced around for a second, before he said curtly, " Follow me." And with that, he turned and walked off at a brisk pace, thinking deeply. How could this.. new person connect with their Kraft so well? It wasn't like he was any where NEAR perfected. No, he had a long way to go. But, this.. newbie could be the next Ancient with time.
Matsuyama snatched up the knife, tucking it into his saddle, and followed Mietitrice obediently, still a little wobbly at the knees, and wondering what was going to happen. Would his mission have more success if he just kept his head down? Too late now, he thought. His snowflake wings had a slightly dark shimmer to them now, but it faded with every step. He was pretty sure he'd passed, the look in Mietitrice's eyes showed that. Was he going the meet the leader now, or someone else? Was this the last test? Matsuyama's brain quickly sped back into high gear. He had to be on guard. ANYTHING could happen.
Mietitrice continued down the hall, abnormally silent, until they came to a dead-end in the hall. The Reaper looked quietly at Matsuyama before he pushed his shoulder into the wall and a passage opened in the stone. The opening revealed a spiraling staircase, and he nodded his head down. " Go down there. You'll end up in a wide room with stalagmites and stalactites, chairs, and eyes. When you get there, bow down to the ground. You'll receive instructions. This is the final test. Be silent unless spoken to, do not move unless instructed. Also," Mietitrice flashed him a quick smile, " when you do speak, be respectful."
Matsuyama nodded, and padded softly down the stairs, descending into the blackness cautiously, testing each stair before putting weight on it. Finally, his paw hit rock, and he bowed down just as instructed, head and tail lowered as well, waiting....waiting....
The room was dark, black. Countless pairs of glowing eyes stared from the darkness, including Striyf's cyan ones and Mietitrice's own red ones. Though how to Reaper got there before Matsuyama was still a mystery. And, in the middle of the room, a ray of light shined down on a large creature. It was more reptilian then the others, though the exact shape and color was distorted without proper lighting. It's orange eyes glared down at him. It shifted slightly, then rumbled out, " You passed the earlier tests.. and you follow instructions." There was a pregnant silence before the creature spoke again. " Look around. Find the silver eyes. Wait, then follow them. This is your partner now. You will room with them, spar with them, and carry out missions with them." There were murmurs, and across the room two different pairs of eyes flashed. One were Striyf's glowing ones, which narrowed and glared at Matsuyama. The other were the mentioned silver ones, which looked more amused. The orange eyes turned up in the obvious -disallowed_word-though it might be hard to identify him with all this shapeshifting) Clearly, he was to be avoided....for now. As for Kalei, she seemed cordial enough, but he planned on trusting no one. After all, he would only betray them in the end. But let her think him an ally, if that was what she wished. He was going to need her right now.
Frost shook his head. There was nothing more to ask. He simply sat there, swishing his tail. And for the first time, he wondered if what he was going to do would work. If this group could keep members in against their will, would he really be able to stop them? He was quite a sorcerer, he knew that, but there was a twinge of doubt nagging in his mind. At least he knew what he had to do: stop this group so people like Kalei could go free. He didn't think she was evil. Not really. Probably someone who didn't know what they were getting into. Finally, a question popped into his mind. "When does the leader grant my shapeshifting powers?"
Kalei thought for a second. " Normally, a new member is granted both the power to form Darkmatter and to shapeshift after the first few missions.. but Leader thinks that our first mission together will be more difficult, so you will probably be Injected tomorrow." She glanced at him, then smirked. " Don't worry. Injected is only a term, a nick-name. Either Striyf or I will infuse a high amount of our Kraft into your body, greatly increasing your own Kraft reserves and allowing you to unlock those abilities. It's fairly painless, but the only downside is that you're knocked out for a few hours while your body reboots itself." She thought for a second. " Normally a mission this important would be sent straight to The Reaper and The Chaos, but both Striyf and Mietitrice have a mission that day. The two of them are partners, and are actually quite close friends.
Interesting..." said Matsu, his eyes sharpening slightly at the thought of a mission. "It seems you know what our mission is, but if you don't want to tell me, that's fine, I rather enjoy the suspense. And what exactly is Darkmatter?" he asked, sitting up on his bed attentively. And apparently what Strify told me was inaccurate, that there are no "allies" here, he had one himself, Matsu thought to himself. But, did they meet in the group or before, since that would be a big difference.
Kalei nodded, then took a deep breathe. A dark aura surrounded her, almost visible, like a black wisp. A sudden cold drenched the room, and The Muse made several hand movements before a small glowing black ball formed between her paws. Her brow furrowed, and pushed more Kraft into the energy between her. The aura grew stronger, and the ball grew larger. " This," she said softly as the energy glowed ominously, " is Darkmatter. Kraft in it's most raw and unchanged form.
Matsu's eyes glowed, and fur tingled as he sensed the power in the pulsating darkness. His eyes stared intensely at it, taking every detail of the sheer force of it. "How is it used?" he asked, in a voice scarcely more than a whisper, Matsu leaning on the edge of his bed, thinking of ways darkmatter might be used. A weapon, clearly that it could be, but could anyone use it once it was created? Did the hand movements have a lot to do with it, or could a very talented one make it with seemingly no movement? Matsu knew powerful sorcerers could do the same with other kinds of magic. But then again, understanding magic was one of his life's goals.
Kalei closed her eyes and blew into the Darkmatter. It twisted about wildly before quickly growing into a solid. Floating in the air, it formed a sword with a dark gray blade and an oriental designed-hilt. As the process finished, Kalei caught the sword before it fell. " Once Darkmatter is summoned, it can be shape into anything without using energy. You see, the Kraft is already used and poured into the weapon or item, and you only have to manipulate it after that. So making the Darkmatter is the only Kraft you need to use." She blinked once, and the sword shifted into a staff, then into a club. " Better yet, once you're done with the Darkmatter, you can pull it back into your reserves." She took a deep breath, then sighed softly as the club seemed to melt into her paw. She visibly perked and smiled at him. " Shapeshifting is much like summoning Darkmatter. You push your Kraft into the rest of your body and use it to change your shape into whatever you want or however you want to look. That's why it's so rare to find someone who is only one species here, because most of us fill in our weaknesses with a replacement for them.
The glints from the matter shone in Matsuyama's eyes as he watched intently, like a child who has just seen a magic trick, only this was no trick. Matsuyama's eyes widened. "How convenient! And being able to pull it back into yourself even replaces most of the energy lost creating it! that's a very effective magic." he commented, nodding thoughtfully. "Does it work just like the basic Kraft Metitrice was telling me about, finding my reserve and just connecting with it?
She nodded. " Very observant.. Yes, it is, but one must have more control over their Kraft before then. Besides, it doesn't matter how skilled you are at controlling it. At the moment, you don't have enough to pull it out of your body and into a corporal form. If you tried, you'd probably end up killing yourself. It doesn't seem like it, but shapeshifting is a lot less stress on your body then summoning Darkmatter, because if you summon to much in short periods of time, then your Kraft reserves just dry up. That's why the Leader has every member take turns creating weapons out of their Darkmatter." She got up and climbed onto her bed, reaching under her pillow to pull out a book. " Here. Read this in your spare time. This explains everything in greater detail, and tells you how you can mix your element into your Kraft to influence the quality and such of the Darkmatter you summon. In time, you'll begin to understand that controlling Kraft, while it is similar to magic, is not truly that. A persons Kraft reflects the person themselves. For instance, were you put in a situation where you had to kill someone, which you will eventually have to do here, and you didn't want to kill them, your Kraft would sense that and malfunction. If you don't want to do something, your Kraft will not let you do it, despite orders.
Thanks." said Matsuyama, inwardly smiling. Observant he was all right. With the appreciation of his talents here, Matsu felt things were looking up. Taking the book from her paws, Matsu flopped down on his bed, and glanced at the table of contents before tucking it in one of his drawers, also unstrapping is funny saddle, and stowing that away as well. "If I can mix my elements into my darkmatter, I should be able to do that vice versa, right? So then even my other attacks could be especially harmful to demons, right?" This sounded VERY satisfying to Matsu, hating demons the way he did. He'd get them, he would, and the one who destroyed his village would pay for what he did. Oh yes...
Kalei paused and thought about it. " In theory. But one needs a very powerful control on their Kraft to merge it with something. You see, Kraft is far stronger then most ordinary magic. Mixing magic with Kraft is easy, yes, but mixing Kraft with magic is insanely hard." She hesitated, then chuckled to herself. " It's hard to explain. Once you learn to really control your Kraft, you'll understand. Not even Striyf can force his Kraft into his Shadow element. So far only the Leader has succeeded, and that left him taxed for energy for days." She was quiet for a few minutes, then seemed to think of something. " Oh.. do you have a Haustier?" She seemed to struggle with something. " Oh, what are they called Outside.. Petpets? Do you have a petpet?"
Matsuyama's ears picked up. "Oh yes, I do, actually. She's a Bika, I call her, well, Peanut." he said, laying back his ears slightly with embarrassment. "She usually does as she wants, sometimes I don't see her all day, she roams around, but she always seems to know where I am. She'll probably be waiting for me outside tomorrow. She's a great tracker, odd as that is for her species. Do you have a pet, er, Haustier, as well?" he asked, peering around the room for any trace of one.
Kalei sighed sadly. " No... not anymore. When you join Silencieux, you are assigned a Haustier if you don't already have one. I had a Juma until recently.. he was killed in my last assignment." She glanced away, then looked back at him with a forced smile. " I ask because Haustier are a big help on missions. You can use them to extract information, like they could hide in a building and listen to conversations and report back, or use them as bait. They're useful, and they keep you company when you are alone." Kalei looked back at the ground and sighed softly. Silently, she straightened and pointed to her stomach. Three long, ropey scars criss-crossed down her stomach, ending at her waist. " My last mission, both my former partner and my Juma were killed. A scouting mission gone wrong. My last partner was called The Nocturne, and his name was Kleid." She shook her head and scoffed softly. " I didn't expect to receive a new partner so soon after his death. It just goes to show how things work around here." Her eyes hardened and she turned away. " We are nothing, merely tools used to complete the Leaders grand scheme.
Matsuyama felt a pit of sorrow and fear rising up inside him, rubbing a scar on the back of his head covered by his fur. It was clear she was still mourning Kleid, however tough she seemed. Things weren't going to be as easy as he thought, and a whole lot more miserable. What if his petpet died too? How could he lose his Bika, much less a mentor, if a friendship did form? "You don't resent me coming so soon after, do you?" he asked, his icy eyes losing their hard sheen, and melting to look more like a sad puppy dog's.
Kalei blinked and turned to look at him, then laughed softly at his puppy-esque eyes. " No.. I don't. Just... keep yourself safe. I'm not worried about myself. I'm bound to The Silent in this life and the next, and everyone after that. My element is Earth, in it's most literal sense. When I die, I become a flower, and when the flower blooms.. I'm alive again. It's complicated, really. I've actually died three times since I've joined." She shrugged. " Just... stay safe. And keep your Peanut safe as well. Once you join, you don't leave.
Matsu's mood became more somber, listening to this. He hadn't planned on finding xweetoks like this here, he hadn't planned on finding someone nice instead of evil. He wanted to help her, and he would, for the destruction of The Silent would free her once and for all. Matsuyama flicked his ears, a small sign of slight agitation. "Thanks for the advice." he said, voice a tad grim. "I'll watch my back, and I won't let Peanut go off alone anymore. When you are "reborn," so to speak, do you keep all your memories and power, or do things fade a bit?" he asked, curious, as emo as this moment was.
She hesitated, then smiled. " Things stay the same. My memory, my power, my control. It's all constant." Lie. Every time she was reborn, her memories became more fuzzy, her powers weakening, and the control on her Kraft slipping. When she joined, she had been as strong as Striyf, if not stronger. Now, though.. in another two lives, she would be useless to Silencieux.. her purpose would be served, and she'd be eliminated... just like Kleid was. But she didn't want Matsuyama to worry, even if he didn't really care. " Don't worry," she said, smiling. " You're strong already-- you won't have to worry.
Matsuyama's suspicion rose. That smile was a plastered on smile, a fake one. He knew since he'd worn that face himself many a time before, especially in front of the old village council. But, he didn't know to what extent she was lying, and said nothing about it. "Nice to know." he said, yawning, and crawling into bed. He was tired....so tired. His eyes felt heavy, his wings seemed to almost drag him down. "Can we turn off the lights now? I'm exhausted.
Of course," she said softly. She snapped her fingers, and the lights shut out with a click. " Good night," she whispered. Tomorrow they'd be doing their first mission... she hoped that he was as powerful as Trice told her in the brief period they were able to speak before the Council.
Good night." Matsu whispered back, before turning on his side to face the wall. Slowly, his thoughts began to slow, as darkness crept in, and sleep brought dreams, whirls of color and faces swirling through his mind.... Matsu blinked. The room was still shrouded in darkness, but he had gotten up at the instant dawn broke anyway. It was an internal alarm clock, from countless mornings of early rising. Matsu yawned, and stretched once, flexing his lean legs before going to the drawer and putting his saddle pad on. "Kalei?" he asked softly. "Are you up?"
A pair of large green eyes peirced through the darkness, and the click-clack of hooves on the stone floor echoed through the room. There was a soft whicker, then the light slowly turned on so as not to blind anyone. Standing at the foot of the bed was a very large Nuk with twisting yellow and black prongs. It looked a little larger then an adult Uni, certainly above average size. It studied him for a second, flicking it's large ears, before snorting. It stomped one hoof, then bobbed its head towards Kalei's empty bed. A hastily scrawled note was thrown onto her unmade bed.
Frost-- Gone to receive mission specs from the Leader. Will be back with information. Get ready to leave, we need to be gone before the sun rises all the way. Also, this is Flotte, my new Haustier. He was assigned to me this morning. He's fairly nice, just show him respect and he'll respect you.
--The Muse
Matsu read the letter in a glace, then turned his gaze upon the Nuk. "Nice to meet you then, Flotte." he said, dipping his head. Unlike those who would have felt foolish doing this for a petpet (he refused to think of them as Haustiers, Matsu tried to do everything inside is head that could possibly stop him from getting used to this group, no matter how indoctrinated he might act) Matsu was quite used to adressing Peanut with respect. Speaking of which....she'd probably snuck in already. Matsu blinked once, and then spoke his name to the wall across from their beds, not sure where the hidden door was. Matsu's guess was right, a stone rumbled before sliding back to reveal an opening. Sticking his head out the door, Matsu called softly, "Peanut?" A small shadow detatched from the dark sides of the hallway, as Peanut trotted over to Matsu, not making a sound. Years of dodging predators in mountain quarries had taught her how to walk noiselessly. She lumped upon Matsu's bed, and watched him as he closed the door with little effort. Patting her, he shooed her off his bed and began to tidy it up while waiting for Kalei.
Flotte bowed his head as well, then perked up when he saw Peanut. He let out a mix between a bleat and a neigh, tossing his head curiously. Outside, there was a loud yelp, a joyous shout, and a low snarl before Kalei said her name and the door opened. She looked rather unhappy, but that might have been because Mietitrice was clinging to her with a smug -disallowed_word-(AWKWARD TURTLE!!!)) she asked casually asked, " So... why did you join Silencieux?
Matsu paused. Sould he trust her? He may not get along with most people, but he was good at reading them, and Kalei didn't seem evil. If he told her....and she'd been fooling him all along, he'd have to kill her, and hope her memory did NOT return when she came back to life. The very thought made his blood run cold, and his stomach plummet. He stared at her, long and hard. "Can I trust you?
Kalei stopped short and watched him calmly. After glancing him over, she stated, "...yes. I won't allow anyone to hear what we talk about unless you want them to know." If he had doubts about The Silent... maybe they had a chance after all..
I didn't come here to help The Silent. I came here for two reasons, to stop this group, and to destroy the demons. There was one, demonic in appearance that destroyed my entire village. It had feet and eyes and ears and a back of flame! It burned everything to the ground. It killed my family and my best friend. I've hated demons ever since. And I don't want others to get trapped by The Silent." Matsuyama took a deep breath, and crouched down, prepared to defend himself from attack. She may not like her group, but he didn't think she'd be glad about him destroying it and most of it's members.
Kalei hesitated, then barked something in another language at Flotte. The Nuk nodded and bounded off back towards the mountain. Kalei turned to look at Matsu and sighed. " Listen, kid. If you tell anyone about what I'm fixing to tell you... I'll kill you. Now I have to ask-- Can I trust you?"
"Yes, but what did you tell Flotte?" asked Matsuyama, shifting uneasily. Flotte could be a signal....to get the others over here and capture him...."You didn't send him back for help to kill me, did you?" Would she? Was this a diversion? Or not? There was truth in her voice, but Matsu didn't know if he was being fooled or not.
All will be explained.. And I swear on the graves of both my partner and my sister that you won't be attacked.. at the moment. It really all depends." She didn't want to be this vague.. " ..A month ago, we realised that we are ultimatly supposed to kill is actually a friend from long ago. Striyf found out that The Leader killed his friend after he joined, so the friend couldn't talk him out of it. I discovered that they killed my little sister because I was thinking of running away to find her. I'm not sure why The Phoenix wanted to help.. But anyway. Not the point. The three of us were planning to stage a coup, to over-throw the Leader and take control of Silenciuex and steer it in a more peaceful direction. Most of us were forced to join, or tried to quit soon after and were blackmailed.. I want to make sure that no one makes the same mistakes I did." She straightened and stared him down. " What say you? Will you stay with the Silent or join the Revolution? Remember that, should I be unhappy with your answer, I can and WILL kill you.
I'll join the Revolution." said Matsu, without hesitation. No way could she be lying to him now. "I intended to destroy the Silent when I joined. I'll support you. How long before we overthrow the leader?" he asked, tense with excitement, though still wary. "And you still haven't told me where Flotte has gone.
Flotte went to inform Striyf that we either have another member of the Revolution, or we have another Silencieux body to dispose of." Her -disallowed_word-section missing, Kalei morphs into a hawk, Xiv and Reck leave the area, Matsu and Kalei follow)
Matsu took a different approach. He transformed into a fly, an easy shift from his current state. But it was hard to keep up with them, so he shifted again to a blackbird, keeping close to the canopy, invisible among the leaves. He glanced behind and saw Kalei, but continued further, following Xivri and Reck from a manageable distance. He didn't want to get too close, Xivri had sensed him once, and she probably could do it again. Matsuyama added fringes to his wings, like those on an owl's to make them quieter, and glided soundlessly after the two. Improvision. He knew he'd be able to, after all other Silent members had been able to mess with their forms. Matsu improved his eyes as well, enlargening them slightly so that the view sharpened, and magnified. He kept his rendition of an eagle's eye proportional to himself enough so that he wouldn't stick out as an unusual blackbird.
After following them for a few minutes, Kalei shrieked again, flying close to Matsu and swerving back the way they came, signally to let them go. She came back to the clearing and flitted down onto the ground. After shuffling her wings slightly, she Shifted back, allowing her Kraft to flow back into it's reserves. When she was back to her normal form, she whistled sharply, and a few seconds later Flotte came bounding through the trees and slowed to a stop beside her. Taking out another leather scroll from the pouch slung across the Nuks' back, she waved her paw over it slowly, writing another message. She then placed it back in the pouch and whispered something to Nuk in the same language as before. It was a succesful mission... they found out what they wanted to know without getting caught.
Matsu followed Kalei back, shifting into an eagle on the way. He loved how suddenly everything sharpened, he marveled at being able to see every blade of grass. As he landed and shifted into his normal form, he felt saddened at the loss. Perhaps he could keep his eyes that way all the time...but then he'd take it for granted. His ears went up as he spotted Peanut sulking around the thistles, angry that he'd been gone for so long. She had followed Flotte to the clearing. Matsu beckoned to her, reluctantly, she came up to him. "Oh come on." he muttered to her. "YOU leave ME all the time!" Turning to Kalei, he asked, "So, what's up? I take it we suceeded?
Kalei nodded, patting Flotte on the nose before he bounded off once more to deliver the message. " Very successful. That might not have seemed important.. but it was. If the true Silent got that information, then the revolution would have a crisis on our hands. But since we know and the Leader doesn't, I can send him false information and tell Striyf the truth." She hesitated, then shook her head slowly. " ...would you like me to explain everything that just happened?
Yes!" said Matsu, his eyes wide. So it HAD been important, that name, Douo or whatever it was. But why? Was it a demon? "And why would it be a crisis? What are you going to tell the leader?" Matsuyama was getting himself worked up. Lying to the leader! No going back now!
Kalei chuckled softly, murmurring, " Calm down.. Douo was a Demon. A very powerful Demon, called a Demon of Age. Once there were ten of these D¤monen des Alters, or Demons of Age, but now there are only three. Long ago when the Silent were first formed, they sought to use the power of the Demons for their own gain-- to rule their own kindgom. What really happened to them was lost in the bowels of history, but one thing is true-- they failed. However, they decreased the number of the Demons by six. Fearing death, the Demons connected with newborns, using them as containers for their power. But Fate knew that the containers would need help, so she assigned them Aides-- helpers, to gaurd the mortal bodies of the Demons. Each Aide had up to three Gaurdians, a being that only they could see and hear, but they had limitless Kraft at their despence." She took a deep breath after that speech. " Xivri, the dark female, was confirmed to carry Douo, the youngest D¤mon des Alters. Reck was the Aide, and Mavrikue, the 'ghost' was her Gaurdian." She smirked slightly. " Meaning, yes. He actually was there.
Okay, so that unfortunately means they weren't crazy. Pity. It would be so much easier if they were." Matsu commented, storing all this to his memory. "What were the names of the other Demons of Age? Do you know who the other containers are? And what will we do about this if the revolution succeeds? Will we let them be, or destroy them?" Matsuyama hoped they're do the latter. Otherwise...he'd be forced to work against the group. Not a good idea. He wasn't as strong as Striyf...not yet. "Is there any way to disable the guardians? How are we suppossed to work against the supernatural?
The Demons have never done harm unless provoked.. in fact, several of them used to protect villages. The revolution will remain nueteral. We won't fight against them, but we won't fight for them either." She hesitated, racking her brain for answers to his questions. " ...I don't know the names of the other Demons. I'm not important to the Silent, so I'm not informed of important information. Striyf might know, though, because he's one of the Five Creepers. They're five members that are placed above the others because of ability. But none of us know who the containers are, we just go on rumors to figure out who they are. The Leader is still gathering information on guardians.
Are guardians chosen for a reason?" asked Matsu. "Or are they just random spirits? Have any known their charges previously? And do they have any physical power, not just the power to observe and advise?" Matsu made a mental note to see how much information he could squeeze out of Striyf later, though he was pretty sure that Striyf wouldn't be happy to deal with his endless questions. Matsu grinned. They were going to have to put up with a LOT of questions with him in the revolution.
Kalei hesitated, then said, " We're not sure. The Phoenix and The Weaver are working on finding more information on the guardians, but so far we only know that they are somehow connected to the Container, and not all of them are actually spirits, merely mortals who live their lives unseen until the Aide that they advise finds them. Meaning that there could be thousands of Guardians out there waiting to be discovered." She paused, and looked at the sky. The morning had passed into early afternoon, and she had sent the message almost ten minutes ago. " We should had back. If we don't check in the HQ soon, Striyf will get worried and the Leader will get suspicious.
Matsuyama watched her with keen eyes. "Then we better work out what we'll tell the Leader then." he remarked. "Will I be meeting everyone else soon? I don't know who The Pheonix and Weaver are, there's a lot I don't know about, and if I want to help in the revolution, I better start finding out how things work around here." Matsu's number one rule: Find stuff out. That's how he handled everything. I must seem really nosy to some people, he thought. Matsu took a few paces, ready to get on the move again.
Kalei hesitated, thinking. " Actually... I've never met The Phoenix either. Members of the Silent don't usually meet each other unless they're paired as partners. Pretty much the only other people they meet are thie rtwo examiners, the ones who greet them when they first enter the HQ. In your case, Striyf and Trice." She hesitated once more, thinking silently. " Listen.. I know that you're curious, but don't go around interigating people. Striyf has no patience, so.. he'd probably rip off your head. Trice, while more patient then Striyf, isn't part of the revolution yet, so he might get suspicious." Kalei Shifted into an eagle, blinking sharp bird-like silver eyes. " Just.... do what the Leader says and withhold information. I'll do the rest. I hate keeping you in the dark.. but we can't risk getting found out. Besides, Striyf already knows what to tell the Leader. Because he's second in command, we report to him with information, and he relays it to Leader.
Matsuyama was glad someone knew how to handle this, yet sad that it wasn't him. Irritated though he was to know so little, he knew Kalei was right. By now, he trusted her judgement. "Okay, just a few more questions, if you don't think I should know, don't tell me. Who's next in command after Striyf, and so on? And how likely is it that Trice will join us?" Matsu wasn't sure about Trice, his jolly nature made it hard to tell his true intentions. Matsu didn't trust on him being either evil or good. He noticed he was on the outskirts of the trees, across the plain lay where they had left the Silent. He couldn't see Flotte, but it was hard to see anything since he'd replaced his eagle eyes with his own.
Kalei hesitated, and her -disallowed_word-the only one that she knew that had joined the Silent-- if there were more, she hadn't met them), but other males... Striyf was very... uh... protective. She turned to Flotte, who was sniffing around expectantly. " If you're hungry, we can send for some food. We don't really have a kitchen here, and even I'm not sure how we get the food. We write down what we want on a slip of paper and put it in here," she pointed to a small hole in the wall that swerved up, like a chute. " And then you push a small amount of Kraft into the wall, and the paper goes... somewhere. Anyway, about five minutes later your order gets placed in front of the door."
Matsu groaned. "Why must you torture me so?" he asked, dramatically flopping onto his bed, crossing his arms and sticking his tongue out in a dead/corpse sort of pose. Peanut rolled her eyes. Matsuyama didn't stay there very long, he jumped to his feet, opened his drawer, grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled his order out on it. Can you say ADHD?! thought the bika, as she watched her now hyper "owner" write out, (very messily) an order for some yogurt, eggs, spaghetti...oh no. Peanut knew Matsu didn't like eggs, or yogurt, which could only mean one thing...yeesh, what a crazy owner. Random too. Matsu jammed it down the chute and send a thread of Kraft with it. He smirked. Kalei would pay for that. He hadn't dared to have a food fight in a long time...Striyf? Oh geez! He was really in for it now! -Anway, the food chute had given him quite an idea...
Kalei smirked, and without turning to Matsu, she said loudly to Flotte, " Oh Flott-ums~ Who you kindly be a dear and tell Trice to come over here with something MESSY. If you can... get Striyf to. I feel like a family reunion is in order." This time she did let out a low, " Ku ku ku ku.." as she scribbled something barely legible onto a peice of paper and shoved that in the chute as well. Up it went, and now she was perched on her bed grinning nastily at Matsu. Oh, yes. Today will be fun.
Plotter!" said Matsu, wearing a grin identical to hers. "What, do you need help vanquishing me?" Bika lept up on the bed beside him, Matsu eyed her warily. "You better fight on my side or there's gonna be serious payback you little rouge!" Matsu tapped his bottle, strapped to his saddle. He didn't plan on using it, but if someone got him in the face with something slimy....the hot liquid would go right over their head, and that was a promise. Someone knocked at the door, Matsu opened it to find his eggs and other various items of attack. Now the decision: attack Kalei, or team up and ambush the others? Assuming she wasn't planning on ambushing him with them helping.
Kalei scoffed and put a paw over her heart in mock hurt. " Please. I could totally make you eat smoked duck livers if I wanted. I just have the sudden desire to shove something nasty in Striyfs' face." She opened her mouth to say more, but there was another knock. She opened the door with a sinister grin. She picked up three plates and put them on her bed, then turned and picked up two more from outside. Spagetti, soup, pudding, popcorn, mushrooms, you name it, she had some on one of the plates. (Far away, the Leader chuckled as he went over the menu and reveiwed what everyone had ordered. Food fights were uncommon among the Silent, but when they happened, they were BIG.) " So," Kalei purred as she pushed a thread of Kraft into the soup, making it boil for a second then cool, steam rising off. " I'll take Striyf.. that way you won't get in trouble. You can go after Trice, and after that, we'll probably all be killing each other, sooo..."
Matsu eyed his food. Good, they'd put in the spoons and napkins like how he'd asked, tucked discreetly between the bowls. Matsu pulled out some string from his drawer, he liked to keept a stash, it was very handy. Normally he'd tuck it in his saddle. He tied the spoons in an orderly row, and jammed them firmly into the crack between the bed itself and his mattress, where they were held tight. Matsu carefully stacked an egg onto each spoon, ten total. Matsu smirked, glad he had several extra cartons, and he pulled back on every spoon, with his paws feet, and his tail he could cover them all with Peanut's help, though he had to sprawl out on his bed and bend his knees out to the side to do so. The bika held one in her teeth, and two others were pulled back with her hooves. All were aimed at the door, tense and trembling. Matsu was glad the plastic was sturdy enough. Using his Kraft, he levitated a spinach bowl onto his icy wings, where it skidded a bit, and settled into place. One sharp flip of his wing and the bowl would go flying as well. Bika rolled her eyes. Matsu was emo a lot, but she'd rather have that right now than this rare glimpse of his childish side, before it got buried in grief and distress. Yeesh. A child-at-heart emo. Well, you can't pick owners.
There was another knock on the door, followed by an, " Oi Kally-puu! I brought some food and some Striyf! Open up!" Kalei smirked, ignoring the nickname, and snapped her fingers. The door opened with a hiss, and Striyf was shoved in first, protesting loudly. He was stopped, however, by a large bowl of pudding being flung at his face. The male blinked, then growled, turning to grab some chicken from Trice and flinging it in her general direction. (most of it landed on Flotte, who merely rolled his eyes with a deadpan stare.)
Giggling, Matsuyama and Peanut released all of the spoon catapaults as Striyf turned. The eggs flew by him at Trice, followed by a bowl of spinach. Matsu immediately armed himself by dipping a spoon in yogurt, and pulling it back.
Trice let out a gleeful laugh as the spinach arced through the air and landed on his rounded snout. Quickly he tossed some shrimp at Matsu from a plate behind his back as Striyf tackle Kalei to the ground and(amazingly, laughing)ground some of the chicken in her face. Kalei squealed and pushed him off, then chucked more pudding at Trice. Most of it landed on Matsu, though.
Matsu shook his head, sending pudding flying everywhere. He grabbed an egg and chucked it at Trice, just ducking to avoid most of the shrimp, which hit Peanut. Annoyed, the Bika hid behind Matsu's bed, glowering at them all. She shook her mane to rid herself of the seafood, and sniffed at one. She took a bite, and spit it out abruptly. Matsu ignored the one shrimp that had gotten stuck on his tail, and pulled back further on his yogurt catapault.
Grinning like a kid, Kalei pushed Striyf in front of the yogurt while Trice tackled Matsu out of no where and slapped a pie into his face, then bounded. Flotte rolled his eyes and shook the chicken off of his face before clopping behind the bed with Peanut, mumbling something to her in the petpet language along the lines of, " Owners are stupid.
--Later-- (Kraft practice, stupid neo deleted lots of the rp. x.x Matsu and Kalei went a short distance from Headquarters, and a creepy member of the Silent, named, "The Vision" got in a fight with them, leaving Kalei with a gash.)
Okay....then." said Matsu, emboldened a bit by his partial sucess and Kalei's reassurance. This time he shot his Kraft out more aggresively, panting a bit, launching it into hers, grabbing it as hard as he could, and yanking it out with all the force Matsu could muster at the moment. He spread his Kraft out, strengthening it, but making sure it was well across hers, hooking onto it with tons of tendrils.
Kalei bit back a yelp as a little less then half of her Kraft was pulled out of her body. Who the hell was this kid!? He'd only been in this place for two days, and he was better then she was after a month! She wasn't sure if that was a positive reflection on him, or a negative reflection on her. Panting, she managed to gasp out, " That was... v-very good. Very good." She struggled to quell the feeling on panic that almost came to someone who relied almost constantly on their Kraft, and shifted through her reserves desperately, as if try to get it back. " Now, push it back through the ground, and it'll find it's way back to me.
Matsu was a bit startled. A considerable amount of Kraft had come out....and he let it go quickly, pushing it along. Kalei's reaction made him nervous. "Er.....sorry?" he said, biting his lip, though a little happy from her praise.
Kalei took a deep breath, very relieved when her Kraft surged back into her, swirlling rapidly around her body before calming into it's natural flow. She gave a shaky chuckle. " You are... much more powerful then I expected. With proper training... you could probably surpass Striyf in mere months." She gave an uneasy glance at their surroundings. " ..you should probably hide your true power when we're this close to the HQ. If another member should see it and tell the Leader, I might not be able to protect you from any...... experiments he may want to perform.
Matsu shuddered despite himself. "That doesn't sound....very appealing. Okay then Kalei. And if I hide it, then I'll get less suspicion, right?" he glanced around, wondering exactly how close they were. If the Vision had found them easily enough....he could have already seen Matsu's power. But...what had they been doing at the time? Matsu couldn't remember....
I wouldn't worry about it now, Matsu," Kalei said quietly, inspecting her wound. It probably wouldn't get infected, it was to shallow, but it WAS still bleeding. " Hmm.." Sighing and taking a deep breath, she pushed past her Kraft and tapped into her own, natural power. This was much easier to control, though not nearly as powerful as it was at the start of her career in the Silent. With a sigh, she watched as the skin and fur on her arm streched and twisted into three vines. Flowers would bloom randomly on the new mini-limbs, but she ignored them. The three vines coiled down her leg and over the wound, cutting off the circulation until it would stop bleeding. Then she looked up uneasily at Matsu. He was.... much stronger then either Striyf or her had expected. She would have to take careful measures with him. " Okay, since you can obviously steal Kraft with minimal difficulty, we should go onto the next lesson--combining your natural talents into your Kraft."
One of them. I can also summon man-eating plants. Very vicious creatures, my lovelies are." Kalei purred out this last bit, pride surging through her at the thought of 'her lovelies,' also known as The Horrid, Thrice-Damned Plants of DOOM to Trice and Striyf. She giggled when she remembered the last time Trice had angered one of her babies.. the idiot had bite marks on his butt for four days.. " ANYWAYS." She grew serious again, looking back at Matsu. " Tap into your natural powers and bring them to the surface. Concentrate them on one point in your body, and then push Kraft from your reserves into the ball of power. It will hurt because the two energies clash, and it'll ALWAYS hurt. It's like a sharp stinging, but eventually you become numb to it.
Matsu smirked at her mention of the plants....and then listened closely at her instructions. He nodded seriously, and delved into his core to bring out his powers. Hard, splintery threads of ice were brought up, along with swirls of fine metals and minerals, rock and ice he focused together, compacting them into a circle and forcing the power to the surface of his left paw, so that the stinging wouldn't affect his right one, the dagger-holder. Matsu grabbed his Kraft, and narrowed it out into a fine thread, pushing it firmly like a needle into his ball. The pain made him flinch a bit, but he made no sound, widening the hole and easing more Kraft in until the ball glimmered with power. His jaw clenched and his back paws dug tightly into the ground, but finally the ball was full to the brim with Kraft and magic.
Kalei nodded once she saw the flinch, the only visible sign that he had followed her instructions. " Good. Now, just use your magic like you normally would on that tree," she pointed to said tree. " But focus you Kraft inside of the magic so that you can control it better. What I want you to do is to blow a perfect hole through the center of the tree, without flaw. No stripped bark on the outside, no splinters hanging down. Perfect hole."
Matsu's eyebrows shot up. What? This was quite a challenge. Matsu's brow furrowed, and he pushed the Kraft so that it lined his magic, making it smoother. He coaxed and pulled untill he ball of power looked as even as he could make it. He stared at the tree, a sturdy oak, and sent his ball flying. As it hurtled towards the tree, Matsu guided his Kraft, keeping it smooth. There was a loud THUD! And a crack. The tree shook violently. Matsu's Kraft had blasted the hole, not dead center, leaning to the right, but the hole was perfect. However, part of the tree was coated in ice, like a shell, an added extra from Matsu's magic. (Sorry for roundabout phrasing, TNT blocks the first letter of the alphabet next to the word "hole")
Kalei glanced at the hole critically, her eyes narrowed. " The ice is a nice touch... but it's not in the center." She slammed one paw into the ground, and with a rumble the tree shook off the ice and regrew itself in seconds. " Again," she commanded, crossing her arms. It only took HER a few tries to get it because of her natural powers, but she knew it had taken Striyf and entire day to do it correctly, and Trice had taken almost three before he was able to go onto the next lesson. " The shape is wonderful, but the aim is off. Only a bit, but still.
Matsu nodded, his determination hardening. He would get it this time...he had too. Matsu gathered his Kraft again, it took him several minutes to get it as smooth as he wanted, before he launched it again. This time it was dead center and smooth, as he carefully aimed, keeping the Kraft carefully aligned, but the icicles this time formed irregular spears, scattered randomly around the hole. Matsu frowned, controlling his magic with Kraft was a lot harder than he'd thought it would be.
Kalei gave a half nod, then slammed her paw into the ground once more, and once more the tree regrew. " Again," she commanded. He was getting better.. but not as good as she was at this lesson. " When you roll the power into a ball, try to surround the Kraft with your ice. That should make it easier to control.
Matsu clenched his paws. This time he'd get it. He rolled his Kraft, making it smooth, and added the ice to it, feeling a small shock as he did so. Easing, he focused on smoothing the ice, untill it coated the Kraft firmly, but in his mind the Kraft was still visible through the layer of his own magic. Matsu flung the ball again, tense with anticipation. The Kraft slammed into the tree, knocking a perfect hole through the center of the tree. The ice coated everything like before, but with added spikes Matsu had specifically added, forming a bristly sharp, even coat or needles. "Like that, right?" he said, a small grin forming on his face.
Kalei closed her eyes and used her natural ability to determine how well he had directed it. She flinched mentally when the wailing of the trees' Aura reached her ears, mingling with her Ivy(the name of her power) and connecting with her, forcing her to share its pain. It wasn't like this before... either Matsu was much stronger then she anticipated.. or she was getting weaker every time she used her Ivy. She had a morbid feeling that it was a bit of both. " Very good," she mumbled shakily, pushing her paw into the ground. The silent, pained shreiking of the tree grew quiet into a simple hum as it regrew. " Very good. How many lessons was that? Three?" Matsu had progressed much faster then either Striyf or herself had hoped.. And she only hoped that when he realized his potential, he wouldn't stray the path.
Kay. And here is the next significant part of the rp. Matsu gets a hug. |3
Once you gain control of the water, it's relativly easy to control. It flows like an extension of your Kraft, not something you have to cling to and clammer with like rock and stone. Watch." She took a deep breath and closed her eye, then jerked into action. She swept out her leg, kicking the now-empty bowl of water into the air. With a practiced flick of her wrist, the water shot out and sliced cleanly through the ceramic, the now-seperated peices of which fell to the ground with a clatter. " See?" she asked, smiling at them brightly once she had regained her balance. She channeled part of her Kraft into both arms and concentrated on the water with her metal one. Her regular one swiped at the ground, and the peices of bowl shook for a moment before reforming with a snap, peicing themselves back together. She lowered her other arm, and the water fell obidiently into the new porcelin. " Now you try," she said to Matsu, smiling. Taz watched the whole thing with wide eyes. " Wow!" she said brightly. " That was awesome!
Control is usually what doesn't come natural to me." muttered Matsu sheepishly. He listened attentively to what else she had to say. "Okay, I'll try that." Fusing Kraft sounded like a good idea, but it also sounded hard. Especially with something like water. Matsu's cheer faded away at Kalei's -disallowed_word-he couldn't hardly even THINK of her dead)he murmured before falling silent. Picturing Kalei not alive....just, he couldn't. He couldn't do it. It was like thinking about Trice without a sense of humor. There was a pause, and Matsu nodded in assent, meeting her gaze with serious, icy eyes. "I promise Kalei." he said, voice quivering slightly with emotion. "And even if there's no where safe I'll look after her myself.
Kalei bent her head down again and bit her lip. Then, she threw her arms around his neck and sniffled softly. " Thank you, Matsu.. thank you for your faith and thank you for being such a good friend.." She hugged him tightly, only letting go when Taz coughed softly in front of them. Kalei jumped back and smoothed down her fur, then looked at Taz with the tips of her ears red. The teal female was smirking, a cheshire grin on her face. With a dark chuckle, she said, " I did it." She pointed to the bowl, which was cracked in half like Matsu's, the water floating above her open palm lazily. She shook her head, then cheekily teased, " So where's my hug?
Matsu's smiled at her. "You're welcome Kalei." he said tenderly, and redenning slightly at the hug. Which Taz had interrupted. Matsu gave a little half jump, and curled his tail around himself, looking down at the floor and turning even redder. "Erm....congratulations?" said Matsu feebly, not looking her in the face. He quickly glanced from Kalei to Taz to the floor again. "Are...are you gonna mend that?" he Matsu asked, pointing to the bowl. Anything to cause a distraction.
