GARAGE SALE WEEKEND

Garage Sale Weekend is the last weekend of the month. It lasts from Friday, 12pm NST until Sunday, 12am NST. During this event we dig deep in our SDB and get rid of those off-category items. Just remember, any items left over, please remove from your shop until the next Garage Sale Weekend.

Please update your banner as quickly as possible when contacted by Janelle or Terrie. By doing so, you welcome the incoming Member while keeping all links within our malling family.

You are getting a look at the new and improved n&f mall. We have joined forces with Janelle aka franklinnc1980 and become



Janelle (or "Frank" to some of you) is an amazing maller that was the founder of Roo Island Malls. She and Adria aka auntadria were extremely successful in running their chain of malls. I am sure that n&f and King Roo had a lot of the same Members over the years.

While Janelle is still very active, Adria has retired from neo for awhile. The three of us have become great friends. It was only natural that Janelle and I decided to combine our malling experience and create our own mall. Hopefully Adria will be with us sometime in the very near future.



So ... this is how this is going to work. We have thirty-one Members. Eleven of those Members will have a banner with ALL thirty-one Members linked to them. We will have two additional banners that will contain the rest of the Members and their linkage. The bottom line is that instead of being linked to eight or nine Members, like a lot of malls, you will be linked to thirty-one.

A concern some of you may have is that a few categories may have two Members in a mall. I have coded the banners in a way that will give you equal graphic space for linkage. If you are one of these Members, contact the other Member that you share a category with and work together. A good idea that Janelle had was a banner that says, "If I don't have what you are looking for, click here" and it would lead the customer to your partner. Would you rather link to someone else in YOUR mall, or have them go to a different mall all together? Think about it. Working together is more profitable than working against one another.

n&f started the "shared" banners and we have made them work since day one. Apparently it was a good idea because a lot of other chain malls are doing the same thing ... but NO OTHER mall has thirty-one Members on one banner. Janelle and I feel confident that this will work and be profitable for all of us.

Who are we?



We are a group of hard working mallers that like to make NPs and have fun doing it. We were the first "chain mall" and have been successful since we started the concept.

We supply you with a recognizable name in Neopia, which is a great start to earning NPs. We also offer free graphics and NB ads at a very reasonable price for those of you who realize the importance of advertising.

Our Members consist of Neopia's finest mallers, battlers and gamers. They must be pretty special because other malls often try to recruit them. You can see our names in the Markets, on the Boards and at the top of the High Score lists. We all work hard, but we play harder! ;)

Also, we are not afraid to try new things, even when the rest of Neopia calls us crazy. With the combined experience of our team, we have many ideas and are always coming up with new ones. Together we are better than any one of us.

1. Please sell only what your mall category is. Selling other mall Member's items hurts their sales and won't be tolerated. Offenders will be replaced without notice.

2. Most of our categories can easily carry 3 pages of stock, however there are some exceptions. Please keep your shop stocked and your banner updated at all times.

3. You may have links to your pet pages or guild, but never to shops that are not your mall. THIS INCLUDES LINKING TO MALL DIRECTORIES THAT LIST OTHER SHOPS!

4. Please watch the market you are located in and upgrade to stay as close to the top of your section as possible.

5. If you have a problem with another mall Member, please take it up with Terrie or Janelle. Drama won't be tolerated within our malls or by our Members on the boards.

6. We are a team, we work together to earn neopoints. If you need ideas or banners, feel free to talk to other mall members. We are better together than we are apart, lets help one another.

7. If you decide to leave our mall, please give us 48 hours to find a replacement before removing our mall banner from your shop.

8. Any Member that is not market size is expected to carry 5 items at Shop Wizard prices. We all pull our own weight, either in a market, NB ads or the Shop Wizard.

10. We appreciate loyalty! Mall Members in good standing will be offered spots that become available for one reason or another.

11. If you are looking for a new mall, you will be replaced without notice. Neopia is a small place, we all lurk the Boards and see posts and comments. Hopefully our Members would be mature enough to mail me and tell me that they are unhappy and let me try to make them happy. If not, so be it.

12. If you leave our malls, we wish you all the luck in the world. We don't want to encourage mall hopping. Remember, the grass is not always greener on the other side.

13. From time to time we may bring in smaller shops to temporarily fill in vacant Main Market mall spots. These shops MUST follow Rule #9.
