You are taking a lovely walk through the forest when you hear the rustling of leaves and a flash of blue. You whirl around, wondering what's going on, what is near you. You see a tall, wolf-like figure approach you. It looks friendly enough, but you are wary. "H-hello," You stammer, unsure of the being in front of you. It smiles. "Hello," it says. By the tone of it's voice, you can tell it's friendly, and a male. "Welcome to my forest," he says kindly, "What might your name be?" You relax a bit and say, "I'm guest. Who're you?" He smiles. "Well, hello there, guest, I'm Malikhaii." He bows slightly. "Would you care for me to show you around my forest?" A grin spreads across your face, glad to see that this creature is friendly. "Of course, malikhaii," You say, "I'd be delighted."
Well, you ought to get to know me in general, not just that I'm a guy and what my name is. I'm just your average, chocolate-obsessed lupe. Yes, chocolate is my thing. More on that later. I'm real spazzy, but in a good way (I hope). Abbeh calls me "eccentric", but I'm pretty sure I'm just a weirdo. But it doesn't bother me at all. I've still got friends, and they don't care. Being a weirdo is actually pretty fun, you should try it sometime.

That's the main path, right there. That's usually what I use to get around, if I don't want to go exploring. It leads right to the lake, which is very pretty. But we'll get to the lake soon enough. Come over here, and I'll show you my tree.
There's my tree. Sure is a beauty, isn't it? That's where I live. Well, mostly just where I sleep. Throughout the day I'm usually out and about around the forest. Fine, quit shoving! I'll show you the lake. Follow me.
There it is. My lake. This is where I drink, play, swim, and sometimes eat. If you look, you can see to the other side. I like to swim over there sometimes, but that's not in my territory anymore, I don't think. That might actually be my friend, Forests', place. The water is quite refreshing,if you'd like to go for a swim. Really? Okay! Just stay behind me. If you get too tired, I'll haul you up onto my back. Gah! Wait, you can get your clothes wet, right? Good. (phew) Let's go!
See, isn't this pretty? Follow me,and maybe we could get to a little bridge I found.

Look over there! There's the bridge. I found it here a few years ago...I've been coming here since then a lot to hang out, and on windy days, watch the waves on the lake. This is where I fish, too, if I can't find any berries in the bushes. Or if I'm in the mood for fish.
Why don't we head back? I've showed you most of the forest, would you care to just go back to my place and hear about me? What? oh yeah...that. That's the island. I've been there a few times; it's not as cool as my forest. It can be sort of fun, though, since there doesn't seem to be anyone else living there. We can go check it out, if you want.

Well, here we are. We can walk along the beach, if you like. It's quite pretty, especially at sunset. I come here at sunset sometimes. I'll bet you would like it. Oh, wait! I smell a berry bush. Are you hungry? Follow me.

Ah, blackberries. My favorite. Do you like blackberries? You can have some; Here. (chomp) (smack) What would you like to do now? We could go back to my tree, and I could tell you little more about just me. I could show you around my home a little, I don't think I really showed you it much. Let's go!

Ah, home sweet home. Look, over there, that's my teddy bear, Earnest. I found him out here a while ago. And over there, that's my water hole. I have a little bucket (see it over there, in the corner?) that I use to carry water from the lake to it when I need it. That doesn't happen to often, though, because the hole is pretty deep. I usually only use it at night, and during the day I drink right from the lake.
Well, that's pretty much it, my forest. I hope you enjoyed it, I know I sure do. Now I'll tell you about my family and some of my friends, and a little more, just about me. Have a seat, get yourself comfy. There's a beanbag-type thing over there, made out of leaves. Go on, take a load off, make yourself at home. I don't really need to, heh...now. How about I tell you about me, eh?
Stature

This is Abbeh. She's my adopted "owner". To me, it doesn't really seem fit to call her that, though. I merely stay with her occasionally. Some people say she created me, but I know she didn't. I met her when I was lost. I found her house and took shelter under her porch, and she took me in. I believe she's where I get my weirdness from. Man, you should see her when she--whoops, sorry, I'm not supposed to tell you that. Anyways, she's a good kid. She knows me inside and out, I tell you. Maybe because I was her first pet. I dunno. She's pretty cool, I'll give her that.
Difivio! He's my older brother. Even though I'm the oldest in the family technically, my brother and sister are both a lot more grown-up than I am. I'm definitely the baby of the family. But about vio. He's the best piano player. Like, ever! Seriously. He's mostly a jazz pianist, but he can play classical sometimes, too, if he wants to. He really likes carrots, about as much as I like chocolate. I don't really know why, though, none of us really do...

And then there's Melinda. She's the newest addition to our family. She's not technically related to us, because Abbeh adopted her form a friend who could no longer take care of her. I feel kind of bad for her because sometimes she says she misses her old family. She's gotten used to us, though, so I think she'll be okay. I don't really know much about her yet, really. She's got a lot of soul, though, I'll tell you that. Plus, she makes some mean Bacon and eggs. We're all suckers for her bacnon and eggs, along with er "bambi eyes" the darned little cute thing gets almost everything she wants with those bambi eyes...
Most likely the best food known to man. I have a whole storage room in my tree full of it. I usually get it from Abbeh, basically the only one in our family
who understands my affection for the confection. I usually have a bar with me, just in case I get the munchies while traveling. If I know I'm going to go far, though, I'll take two or three, or even four or five if I'm with a friend. Difivio and Melinda tease me about it, but in a nice, playful way. They call me 'willy wonka' a lot of the time. My love for chocolate came about when I was about two or so, when a few humans came through my forest. They dropped a small piece of chocolate on my trail, and I found it when I was going down to the lake for a bite of fish. I smelled something unusual in the air. Not in a bad way, but not what I was used to. I found the source of the smell and gave it a quick lick, just to check it out. It was sensational! I've been in love with it ever since. I asked abbeh about it the day I discovered it, and she gave me a two whole bars! I saved them for a long time, trying to control myself and not eat them so they would last longer. I didn't hold out very long.
Duality

This is the place I've come to call home. Believe me, I would never leave my forest to live anywhere else. In fact I can't really. If I want to move locations, my forest comes with me. It's quite magical, quite magical indeed. My forest now lies in Duality, on Aaret territory. However, if friends want to visit, I courteously move my forest back to its original home, as I wouldn't want to desert the other Aaret residents on their own turf. I have, as of late, been accepted into their pack. I have met a few nice individuals, such as Indy, the apparent pack Alpha, Ihlosis, a nice lupess I recently met who takes pleasure in roughhousing with me (which, come to think of it, I don't really mind), and Elle. She, really, is the one who caught my eye. I'm not sure why; she piqued my interest with her shy way of doing things. I really felt I needed to instill her with some courage, or make her feel a bit more comfortable in Aaret, with us. Unfortunately, she has commitment issues, or something. She had to leave, and I'm really not sure if she'll come back. I sure hope she does; I'm not quite finished learning about her yet. There are a few other lupes in the Aaret pack, those of whom I haven't had the pleasure of formally meeting. I'm sure they're perfectly fine, though. In short, Duality is quite a wonderful place, and I hope to stay there for some time.
Roleplay
Abbeh says roleplaying is real fun. She wants you to get to know her writing style if you're interested in roleplaying with us, so here's a sample from her and sakura_pheonix's recent roleplay session-thing. x3
I noted his slight waryness at the top of the staircase. Once he was down with me, I smiled to help him relax a bit. "Well, this is one of them." I said proudly, and trotted around the perimeter of the room. "This is what I call home." I pulled him over next to me and pointed out a few things. "There's my bed, or, at least, it's/supposed/ to be. I don't always sleep there." I smiled lightly to myself, "and there's my water hole the I use to drink at night; during the day I usually go down to the lake. And there's my teddy bear that I found a few days ago; I've been keeping him here. He has this sort of soothing effect during thunderstorms." "What do you think?" I asked him, plopping down very comfortably in the middle of the room. I remembered how nervous he had seemed before. I eyed him. "Are you alright?"
My goodness. Did I forget to tell you about my..erm..powers? Yes, I believe I did. Oops. Anyway, somehow I have been blessed with several gifts. I can jump as far as I want to; a 6-foot leap is a breeze for me. I can also fly. This is the strange one. I can only fly if I launch myself properly. So, I couldn't just jump up from the ground and flit off. I have to be in a tree. A rather tall tree, too. I've got to be at least eight feet above the ground, from which point I leap and then I can gently glide wherever I please. I usually don't fly, as I feel it's very unnatural for wolves. However, sometimes I'm just in a flying mood, or I want to surprise someone.
Minis Of You!

Forest:He's pretty much the first real friend I've ever had. I met him when I was lost in his forest. We became friends pretty fast, and he's a great buddy. We love to race, which is always a good time, even though I don't think I've won once yet. I consider him my best friend. He gave me the nickname Malik, actually, and that's usually what I like to go by.
Ihlosis: Ihlosis is a lupess I met quite recently when I came across a pack of lupes in Aaret. She's more of an acquaintance than a friend, really, but I'm hoping to get to know her at least a /bit/ better.

Wolf: A relatively new friend of mine. Wolf lives in New York, near Vio's place. She's the youngest of my friends, and she sure acts her age. She's almost like a little sister to me. I met her while I was visiting Difivio, actually. She lives in a dumpster, poor thing. I'm hoping she'll be able to see my forest one day. I have a feeling she'll like it. Take a break from fast-paced city life, you know?
