About Us
So, ConnXions is run by these gals named Leena and Amy!The idea for ConnXions was started on, 09/09/09, also known as September 09, 2009. Leena was adding sites onto Converse, and thinking, I need something to do. And poof ConnXions was formed.
Okay, okay, so we both know that it took a little more planning than that... for example, she had to decide on what she wanted the site to be about... she had to convince Amy to help her, then they had to decide on what theme the site should have, a site name, how the site was organized, and lot of other things... but after a while, it was formed, and it now brings you this... ConnXions!

Hola there, I'm Elena... one of the two owners of ConnXions! My nick names vary from Ally, Leenabug, Pie Buddy, BBAAF, and much much more. I prefer that you just call me Leena though... but Leena The Amazing is acceptable as well. 
I love to laugh, joke around, and make my friends smile. I'm addicted to Neopets, and my neosite (which you are viewing right now) is a huge part of my life. I'm always looking for new friends, and I'm extremely chatty, forgetful, and lazy. Others say that I'm Crazy, weird, hyper, and fun to be around.
I have medium dirty blonde hair, blue/green eyes, pale skin that tans easily, and I love colorful things. I used to play softball, and I once had a chance to star in a school play, but I turned it down.
Oh, and the picture is not me... (and was by Dream Designs) but it looks an awful lot like me!!

Leena's so nice about everything, oh! She's terrific! I like playing piano and I just got my flute! So I'm pretty musical now. I made that icon! I am 9 years old, but I'm a genius! I can code a little bit, but most of the time, my sister from Buttoness (Rebecca) codes it for me. I am the kind of person that doesn't have one best friend. I'm the type that has a ton of friends! So that's me. :) I also have another sister! Her name is Linda.
I am about 4' 5", and I have black hair. I always leave it down due to my huge ears. They make me look ugly when I have my hair up as a ponytail of something like that. When I was littler, I used to look cute that way, but now, I kinda look weird.

-First of all, you should get a chance to neomail some of the members and see what they do in the guild, if they enjoy being in the guild, and just to get to know them a bit. Also, you should make sure that the theme of the guild is right for you. If you join a guild that obsesses over... lets say... dogs and you like cats a lot better, then don't join the guild! You don't want to be in a guild with a topic that you do not enjoy! And also, the most important is that you should do some research and see if the guild leader is online all the time. You do not want a guild leader who has not been on for 3 years! Hope it helps!

Hmm... well, all your layouts are pretty much the same. For example, Sidekick and Seasons look exactly the same to me, just with different colors. And Triple Threat looks just like those but with three columns.
Maybe you could combine all three of those into one collection like the, Super Hero collection or something (the name, Super Hero collection was random, I couldn't think of anything else.) and then have Sidekick (with the colors from seasons in there) and Triple Threat in the collection! What do you think? I think that it would make it less repetative.
I like the CSS for the Sophisticate layout, but I think that you could do a lot more with the background. Like I said with the layouts mentioned above, you could do a collection for this too! You could make a collection of 3 columned, two columned, and one columned, of all the same layout in the same collection for Sophisticate!
I like your layout, and I think that you should have some image based ones (collection maybe? xD) in featured in your site! -- 4 stars

Okay, I have Google Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Your site looks best in IE, in Firefox and Google Chrome, the color palettes won't show up! Or is that just my computer? I think you should put up a sign that says "Best viewed in IE". You could get one at Amber's Pixels. My favorite layout of yours is the Triple Threat one. Well, so you ask why? Well, that's the only one that's really different. I LOVE your site layout, so I think you should make image-based layouts! More people will come to your site, and I might use your layout someday for one of my sites! Your font for your site is sorta annoying. I think it's 9pt century gothic. Change it to 8pt century gothic or 7.5pt verdana. And ta-da! That would look better! Your headers for your layouts are boring. Make something like your layout headers. -- 4 stars

Your buttons are indeed unique Junior! I can tell yours apart from others when I'm linking back to sites. Just as Amy said below, I can tell when when a button was by you, I look at it and go, that button right there, that was made by Junior. xD It's the truth! They're awesome buttons!! A wider variety of animation, and borders would help make them more creative though.. I know you can make more! I like your link back buttons, but the third one is hard to read with the rainbow background.
I like your layout, and I like even more that it was done by you! :D Your site is awesome, and with some more advertising can become even better! Keep up the good work Junior! -- 5 Stars

Your layout is awesome! I love it! I don't have safari, but I know that it looks good in Firefox! I have Google Chrome, and I think it looks good on it (I'm too lazy to check), because if it looks good on Firefox, it usually looks good on Google Chrome. Oh, and you know the button you made for Foomanshu that says, Foomanshu Rebecca + Amy? We lost it! Sorry! Could you give me the link? Also, I saw that your buttons really improved! Other fonts you could use are:
silkscreen, redensek (not really recommended though), elektr, handy
Oh, and I know you Juniour! I know you can make more animation styles! Be creative, do something that nobody has!
I can tell if you made a button. If I see a button that you made, I say "oh! Juniour made that button!". I can also tell that you take a lot of effort in making your buttons. They have animation so that it would take a long time. I use gif animator, I don't know if you do too, and I don't like doing long animation. I really LOVE your site! -- 3 stars

I love your layout! It's soo unique and creative! :) I also love that it was made by you! I do think that for your blog, you should use a different icon each day, Change it Up!! The special button styles kinda confuse me though... I love all your buttons! Soo cute!! :) I do think that you could have some more button bases though, and move your waiting list higher up on the page. Also try to update the site more often! :) -- 4 stars

Your buttons are extremely nice! I will talk about your buttons later. Onto your styles. Your professional one, doesn't look very professional. It's my sister's style. I think you could make it so that it is more like her style. Now, she has a new style. She now does multicolor gradient for her borders and text. Also, she inverts her text color. You know, white font, and black out-lining. Also, the one inspired by Greyscaled Buttons (/~singlerain) is still linked to /~singlerain. I think you know this, but unfortanatly, Greyscaled buttons closed. That's all for the button styles! Okay, onto your buttons! I love your buttons! Oh, and back to the styles, I saw that not a lot of people asked for the professional style. Back to the buttons again, okay, first of all, you should link your buttons to the person's site. Also, your newest buttons should be at the top, so people wouldn't have to scroll to the bottom to get their button. You should also get more button bases, link back buttons, etc. I love Pinkstar! -- 4 stars

The first thing that I see, is the layout. The colors are a tad dull, I know you can do better, Charlie! :) I also don't see any credit for the layout, was it done by you? Then put something like, Layout: 100% (c) Charlie. No stealing permitted! or something.
I'm glad that you have site history, very few sites state their history! I'm glad that you have a button contest, that is also very unique! But, I do think that it should be after your content! I'm happy to see the Contact Charlie section as well! Again, neomail me to learn more about how to customize textareas! (That goes for everyone out there without a custom textarea!) Okay, I'm not trying to be mean but, you need to get a new banner and background! The background is way messed up. get a backgroun at The Goodie Box or some other places that have backgrounds. Also, like Leena said, you need to have credit for the layout. I also think you need to change your counter. It was hard for me to see what nimber it was. Also, your goal was 2000+. I think you should change that because you already reached it. Maybe change it to 3000. That would be more exciting! Also, I suggest to have a green color scheme, because your site name, Limelight, makes me think of green. Also, the font that you used is bad. Use something like, 7.5pt verdana. That would look better I think! Oh and also, your textarea's are too big! Where your h1's and h2's are, well, after them put:

First things first, layout. *Dun Dunn Dunnn!!* Hahaha! Just kidding about the Dun Dunn Dunnn part, Kayla! :)
So, I like the layout... but it doesn't really seem to go with the whole Neopets theme that you have going there with your little banners. I think that either a custom or a self-made one would be better looking. I understand why you used this layout, for use of the little tabs on the side that navigate around the page. :) There are more layouts out there that do that, check out where we got ConnXions layout from, Foomanshu (a site owned by Amy, the other owner of ConnXions.)
More content would be good. More sites listed, more button bases, more guides to vote for.. ect. Also, get your name out there! I can't say this enough! :) Affies, List your site, anything to get it out into the world of the known!

Well, I don't know how to start this... So, I love the layout! I used that one before for my other site, Sparks of Magic! But, since your banner is pink, I think you should change the colors to a blue theme. Also, in your "vote" section, I think you should change the pictures. The pictures are maraquan, which has nothing to do with your colors. Also, get more affies! You currently have none, so you aren't very famous. Also, you need more link back buttons! Your site is so cute! I love the layout that you have right now, (V3. lovely fall)!! I love the colors, and the theme that you seem to have, but not! You know? It's totally awesome, and unique. I do think that you should make your portfolio buttons closer together, so that there isn't that big space between them.
